After all the abusive crap I went through in my marriage, and the lack of reasonable access to my kid... I'm not sure I can enjoy Good Kill. It's important that they make these movies, but much like my stepfather's endoscopy video I'll be quietly passing.

I think it's important to call people in their bullshit but telling people they aren't welcome is a chick move. I don't have a girlfriend or a wife, and I'm never going that route again, but having a safe place for men that haven't been quite burned enough is chomping at our seed crop. All men should feel welcome and more importantly all men should feel welcome to complain about the women they left behind. The odds of OP marrying/committing to this lady and having it work out are about the same …

That actually sounds like the setup to a really good joke. That being said I think we can all agree that the issues we've had with "The fairer sex" (Who ironically don't play fair) wasn't based on their race or even the race of the dude they cheated with but with societies double standards. Everyone here arrived for different reasons and has a different perspective. I'm enjoying this subreddit more than most, it's like Toastmasters for the nag weary and the keyword of the day is whore.

It's important for people to know their limitations and plan around them. The Venn diagram of what makes a good elementary teacher and what makes a good soldier probably don't have much overlap. I personally want the equivalent of air marshalls or retired veterans to be given a place to hang out and catch up while guarding the schools. Make it a welcoming place for people with the needed skills. The last thing we need is to arm some hormonal old shrew.

I'm in San Diego and own an AR-15, keeping up with all the limitations is annoying and ridiculous but I'm able to own one legally. I honestly enjoy shooting my lever action more but the AR looks badass.

Testosterone and adrenaline combined with a mild buzz can lead just about any man astray. I'm wondering if men's only clubs could be created using a meetup app and a fictional speakeasy-like keyword. We all know what MGTOW stands for but MONLA (men only no ladies allowed) could be the keyword of the week. Plenty of bars out there could use an influx of people willing to spend.

Help me out here... I never served in the military so other than being a tax paying American I feel like my opinion on these things is pretty much worthless but I don't get why they can't have separate female units. If money's an issue let the feminist that are pushing this chip in any extra cost. Give the units a task and let them prove they're either effective or shitty. Why is blending genders even a thing?
