6	How my dogs made me realise some guys suck. I'm glad you have your dogs to help protect you and give you some peace of mind! They are naturally protective and very pack-oriented. It's a shame though that some men need something like a dog to deter them from doing violent/dangerous things to us. Once you figure out if your dogs are treat or toy motivated, training will be a breeze. They're a working breed who love mental stimulation and learning new things. 29	How my dogs made me realise some guys suck. Honestly, I am so thankful for my German Shepherd. Generally, he's very sweet and just wants pats and skritches. But being the intuitive, intelligent breed that he is, he KNOWS when something isn't right. He went BESERK when someone was trying to break in. I peeked out of the blinds and watched as the guy turned and ran away. I couldn't help but to laugh a bit and pet my dog and tell him what a good boy he is.
