I think your first step is to calm the hell down and enjoy yourself with her. Stop putting such strict requirements on yourself - dates w/ drinks usually involve talking and getting to know each other. Strong eye contact can help build attraction. Wear something nice, look a little more groomed / better than you usually do, it shows you made an effort for her. She's already attracted to you based on what you said so she's just waiting for you to open the door. If you want you could just kiss her…

I used to really dislike the status quo of men having to approach. Nowadays, though, I see it as an opportunity to immediately set the tone of the interaction. When a friend or circumstances introduce you to a woman, you'll need to prove that you're not afraid to put yourself out there. When you open the conversation with her yourself in some way, you get to set the tone. And really, it's a matter of just doing it. You'll feel like crap, nervous, sweaty palms, all that. But the more you do it, t…

Surveys are science. People in this thread are sharing personal experiences as well. If I responded to reports of female rape saying, “well, I don’t think that ever really happens, why would a man do something like that?” How convincing would it be?

Only one way to find out. Check the sidebar links of the sub to find a wing.

Okay maybe find a wing who is a bit more experienced than you then. They can push you to make those approaches. And be direct about your intentions when approaching a girl (imho), I just say I thought they looked good as the opener so it’s clear why I’m there.

Maybe start by lowering the bar. Can you go up to someone in the street and ask directions? Then just thank them and say goodbye. Do that x number of times, then add a compliment to it. Then drop the directions, go in for a compliment and bid them good day. Do this for a week or two, on a regular basis. Then see if you’re ready for your first approach. You’ll still be nervous, but that’s normal.

Alright! Yeah I honestly still get a lot of nerves still when escalating past certain steps. If anything, my advice comes from the same outcome you’ve had here, many times - girls will assume you’re interested in a relationship if you take it slow. Still, it’s difficult to tell with these things under the best of circumstances. Good luck on your next run, see what you can switch up for a different result :)

You should probably still be able to use sound and touch to pick up on these things! It'll be a harder challenge for you, but all the more reason to touch the girl more so you can get a feel for what's going on on her side. Also keep in mind the girl wants to convey these signals to you, so she won't use flipping her hair if she knows you're blind. She'll choose some other avenue to signal intent.

I strongly disagree with the other commenter that you played this perfectly. I think you didn't convey enough intent throughout these dates. Why wait for an IOI to kiss her on the first date? Just go for it after hand-holding and other comfort building, if she declines that's alright, it's not a big deal and you can try again later. A kiss is not sexual, it's still comfort-building, so it was appropriate to escalate there on that date (after all, you don't want a relationship). She thought you w…

Great job, dude. Sounds like you did it like you're supposed to. In night game, the idea is usually to pull on the same night, there'll be a high flake rate with numbers. Texting, just have a couple of quick exchanges (joking attitude, not asking boring questions / getting to know. Jokingly reference things that were said/done in previous interactions) then ask her out for a drink and when she's free. Then send her a time and place and meet there. Smart men set dates in the evening, where sex ca…

I think it highly depends on the kind of person you are / problems you have, but reading it was certainly insightful for me as well.

Haha that's a pretty funny story, bro. I wouldn't be too ashamed of it later on - I have a shit ton of cringy experiences like that as well, but in time you just learn to frame it as who you were back then. Just make sure that you're addressing the points on which you didn't do so well back then so you don't relive those moments for real.

You didn’t fail! Great job on trying. 20 minutes would be extremely impressive if you got it done in that time. I’d start with even just asking directions, maybe give a compliment if you can. Trust me, women will love that so much. I’d ignore everything in this thread about cold approach being ‘creepy’ or needing to ‘wait for signals’ from a girl to do it. I highly recommend checking out Tom Torero and James Tusk on YouTube for some clear instructions on how to master daygame. You’re doing it ex…

I originally asked for a 2nd opinion tho :/ I will work But wanna know are they as and as I think as ppl stare me down a lot I think your legs look completely normal, and that this is all in your head. But if it's a point of focus for you, doing squats (and other leg exercises, check Athlean X on YouTube for a bunch more and learn a bit about leg muscles as you go) will definitely improve this.

wtf does his opinion matter? He just told you how to change this aspect of yourself you seem dissatisfied with, yours is the only opinion that matters for now. Get to work.

This might sound contradictory, but I think an effective way is to not focus on this at all. When you begin to achieve happiness (which, in my opinion, precedes success in most areas of life, including sex and relationships), you'll find that sex and love aren't that hard to come by after all. This doesn't need to take years - I've made a lot of strides over the course of a few months by targeting areas in my life that I've realistically known were a problem for many years (like you, I won't wri…

It would probably help you to seek professional help with this too. I’m not saying you have psychological problems, but it sounds like your past is a lot to unpack and a therapist can make that process much more efficient. I was a virgin until 24, feel no shame about that fact, it had to do with my relationship to intimacy and social situations growing up the way I did. Seeing someone helped me delve into that.

I feel like guys who act like you described kind of warrant whatever rejection they get. They don’t seem attentive to your feelings and attraction - this happened to me on occasion in the past and I always ended up taking the rejection harshly, nice or not. I did learn from it, though.

Sounds about right to me. Should mention, there are women out there who will suggest friendship more out of guilt over rejecting you than anything, and sometimes I get the sense there are girls who are not attracted but like certain aspects of what you do (I go to a lot of cool events in town, always a reason people are interested in having you as a friend) but in a friendship role they need to offer something of their own too. Self-respect also means knowing who you actually want to keep as a f…

Man oh man. I've had a bunch of Tinder dates over the years using it, but every year it seems to be more populated with a shit ton of girls I don't think would ever show interest (chicks who seem primarily interested in advertising their instagram or model page or whatever), or women that are 9000km away (seems to be a recent COVID innovation of theirs). What a fucking joke, these apps advertise themselves on helping you find someone, but the ulterior motive seems to filch you for all you're wor…

I've read both and learnt from both. I feel they're all right, neither is really pure PU material.

Thanks man. I've gone out by myself plenty of times and had times where I felt at ease in the environment and able to socialize well, but I'll be the first to admit that I've let myself get rusty and need to work at it again.

Can relate, my dude. My current goal is to delete online dating apps for the time being as they really seem to enable this shit, and to go out and try to meet women that way for a while.

Corey Wayne mentions that when a woman casually bumps into you while walking, this is just her way of letting you know she's interested. I wouldn't explicitly respond to this in any way but just continue with my gameplan, kiss at the end if it's the first date or usual escalation if it's later dates.

Have you checked out r/pornfree? It's a lot better than nofap, since NoFap has a lot of cringy non-scientific cultish nonsense surrounding it. As someone older who has struggled with this I can tell you that the habit gets no easier to deal with, best you get rid of this now for good. Porn really does nothing for you except ruin your image of sex and intimacy and make you obsessed with things that aren't a part of a healthy, normal life. It isn't all bad in all cases or anything but especially p…

I don't think it's pathetic. We all have insecurities and I think many have one or two in particular that bother us most, and you're able to voice that and ask for help with it. But it's still all in your head. Big ears kinda make me chuckle sometimes, but I have literally never thought they were ugly. "Rock that small cock" - or in your case, them big ol' ears.

I feel you on that fosho man. I'm gonna just try and follow his advice of going out on a regular basis and doing approaches, no matter how hard it is, and not taking it personally or losing my confidence if it doesn't work. Some of his best vids are the ones where he shows how NOT to approach - intentionally being stiff or overly playful. Smash through that mental resistance, and let go of that getting older feeling: I'm 22 and have similar thoughts sometimes, bet you think I look stupid thinkin…

Not too soon man! Second date is golden! If she's uncomfortable with it / feels it's too soon it should be up to her to voice that and suggest an alternative.

You seem really beaten down, man - maybe you need to accept that it's gonna take a lot of reading and building yourself + your confidence, i.e. time invested, before you see real results. I don't mean years or even months, but start putting serious time into the stuff that precedes a successful dating life. Also quitting weed (I'm in a similar boat btw) can subtly make you feel super shit for a while. Hit the gym, eat well, meditate etc., and start doing the required reading on this sub (R. Gree…
