I had a big argument with my wife about this. She read on some website that 25% of women domestically violent relationships end up murdered. I can’t remember which one but it was a prominent site. We sussed out that this was false but it took a lot of convincing her to do the math with me.

I agree with a lot of the statements here. I would also say that the world we live in is following women’s definition of harassment. I’ve worked in a lot of industries with just men and when I would tell my gf or wife about regular happenings at work they were appalled at the way we treat each other. Also we have a bit of macho perspective, like a sticks and stones mentality. And I would argue in most scenarios it’s the higher ground. In your situation I would be super careful. You come back wit…

If you go into relationships without a solid foundation as a man you can end up codependent. And these are chains. Once you get married, have kids, get a girlfriend, you are making a commitment. If you’re of a sound mind and don’t “need” that comfort of not being alone. You can make better choices of who you want in your life. And that will make all the dif…

You’re saying what we are all thinking. So what do we do?

True freedom is only achieved through apathy. But it is probably the loneliest path. I would suggest you get comfortable with yourself. Get strong, get capable, get confident. Be ok with being alone. Then decide what chains you want to bind yourself with.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
