Although I do agree with you on the point that it is more socially accepted for women to hit men, I don't think it's a good idea to use anime as a template for gendered violence. A lot of shit happens on anime, it's literally a cartoon, I would suggest using real life incidents (of which there are plenty) to exemplify this injustice. I have met many such women in my short life and they are great people. My issue lies in the standard of marketability of either gender in the dating market. The standard is far higher for men than it is for women generally speaking.
