This is really interesting and I may give it a shot. There are a couple of things this may help with in my life. Thanks for sharing.

You sound a bit bitter honestly. I come from a fat family and will admit I'm still fat (230lbs down from 300lbs 4 years ago). I have a long was to go before I'm 180lbs. It's true it sucks and is bad for our collective healths etc. it's true we all want to lose weight primarily to look good. It's true that BOTH of my parents failed me and my siblings when it came to fitness and eating well. It's not true that we all have shitty self esteem. It's not true that my mother fattened us up so she would…

I'm actually thinking about writing something like "Red Pill for the Christian Man".

"Book of Pook" as well as "antidumps machine" will take you a long way. They are a sadly oft forgotten these days.

This was an awesome and enlightening post. Thank you for the positive addition to what can be such a negative part of the internet. I've increasingly been of the impression that once you are acting like (i.e. Being) a man, then you can "reveal yourself". But if you're a sissified "man", underdeveloped boy, or misguided male then when you "reveal yourself" it's all dough and emotion. Women will (at best) feel tricked. A lot of guys (myself included for a long time) seem to think they have to hide…

Very glad to see Pook being brought up again. I honestly believe all anyone needs to do is internalize Pook and Anti-Dump. If they can do that they'll be way happier in life and care less about attracting women.

I'm very Catholic and all of this checks out with me! I've heard a bit about romanticism and am beginning to see it as a scourge. Do you have any resources to learn more about it, anything to better help me understand how it has effected me and my culture? I want to do what I can to stop it, especially within myself.

Keep on keeping on. It really does get better. Instead use your time to meet professors and PhD students in many fields. You've got a lot of time to meet interesting people working on interesting problems if only you pick up a phone, send an email, or knock on an office door. You will likely never have access to as many books or journals for free either. Pick up one from physics, chemistry, history, music, see what people in these fields are talking about TODAY. Even if you don't understand it a…

Yea, there is an inner circle 100%. Bob Moesta is the next guy you need to look into with his "jobs to be done" framework. I actually met Ray Kurzweil five years ago, haha. Have an autographed book and everything.

Glad to hear you've got plans. Life is exciting this side of the redpill and out of school. Thanks for the book recommendation! I'll check it out. If I can recommend a book as well, The Innovator's Dilemma by Clayton M. Christensen (oft cited but rarely read) in it the word "disruptive" is coined and it's quite different from how people use it. Overall fascinating book with some wonderful stories about companies and technologies. Good luck, have fun, help some people and make $$

Thank you! Luckily I think I'm on to something. It isn't very "sexy" but the more I look the more I find "boring" things that can be done better that nobody is looking at (because everyone wants to make an app). These industries are ripe for disruption, lots and lots of money to be made. They rarely involve "cool", "cutting edge" technology (so just about anyone can do it). But everyone thinks you have to be an nuclear physicist to do anything in this "modern world" or venture capital. It's hors…

This is really awesome dude. You really helped this guy out and in such an artful way. Thank you for being a great example.

I'm with you man. Pretty much the same story except in high school I had absolutely no chance. Once I started looking a lot better and getting confident I was too dumb to sleep with any girls. At 22 (last year) I did and was so wildly underwhelmed and lacking in guilt (Catholic) that I honestly cannot understand why everyone is so obsessed. Sure it was nice and it left me with a good feeling for a day or two but like... it wasn't that great. Not anywhere near better than a really good meal, a sc…
