I think OP needs some life experience. If you begin worrying now at your young age about whether or not it’s “over for you” as a woman after 25, you are setting yourself up for years of misery and robbing yourself of youth before it even starts. You are determining your value based on external constructed criteria and mythical concepts such as “dating market value” made up by low value / incel men. If this is what you concern your life with, you will ironically age yourself prematurely and rob y…

As a demi/sapio sexual type… 0 on an average day. I notice men that are physically attractive by general standards (not that often though), but that doesn’t amount to personal attraction/motivation to desire interaction. That only happens after chemistry, character and mental connection (which are sometimes possible in a first conversation).

I don’t know, maybe she has strong socially constructed preconceptions and self-consciousness about the fact that she risks losing investment potential from a guy, once she “plays her sexual card” etc. and constructs her personal rules per those notions. Maybe based on the popular “the chase” narrative. I don’t know this imaginary M’s thinking process. Does it indicate double standards? Could argue that. Could also argue that she has different rules for different situations, once again, based on…

What’s the point of a mental exercise not rooted in reality? But anyway, since you want my opinion as a woman… i would think that M, demonstrates hypersexual behavior that isn’t the norm. And that that hypersexual behavior, may either be the result of an emotional imbalance / childhood trauma response / immaturity, or, in the case of a healthy individual, a hedonistic lifestyle choice. Either way, there’s no moral judgement i can make here, except that more non-hyper/ demi-sexual leaning individ…

Is this real?? If so how did you come by all this information about M? Are you M? Did she confide in you? :o. I’m a woman. I can assure you this kind of hyper-sexuality is not typical behavior for most women. What country is this in? Could be culture difference. I’ve lived in Germany, Korea and South Africa. This is not typical… at least definitely not for anyone who’s over their college phase (and even there i did not personally know many women who lived their lives this way, maybe one or two).

I get approached in public about 1 - 2 times a year on average. Not that often but it happens. On the subway, at a café, at a store etc. It really depends on whether i’m attracted and how i’ve been approached. I’ve given my instagram ID to two guys who I had seemingly friendly conversations with. With instagram it’s easier to control contact, in case the person turns out to be bothersome/ a creep or to more carefully assess whether I may actually be attracted to them. . The one guy added me but …

Show me the data. Many people on here seem to disagree with you. Majority women already do. I go back to my earlier statement, your question is flawed in that its faulty premise is fixed and not up for revision. You’re not prepared to change the preconception, doesn’t matter how many people in the comments tell you otherwise. You will continue to say “but that’s not majority” . And i just think you’re here to project and make a statement.

Also are you seriously going to claim that wanting millionaires for husbands is actually typical for women?

I really am not trying to playing dumb here. Healthy, non-gold digging women, typically are looking for and attracted to compatible partners with a higher - not specifically defined status - the research of which i agreed with, (see paragraph 2) If there is no compatibility or potential for a love connection, the status typically doesn’t matter. And also please address the part where i said, these are confined to psychological motivation, and rarely realistically becomes the picture of full time…

I honestly don’t understand the utility of your question, if you’re going off a “social science” jordan petersonesque take on the macro problem of gender and marriage. Is it for general academic curiosity? Or does it in some way concern yourself and your own view of the world? You can’t blame majority people on here for assuming it’s the latter when questions like these usually tend to be, and especially when you self-reference with “i for the life if me can’t understand” xyz / maybe i’m close-m…

My experience fits what’s described in the post. I’m a 27 year old attractive woman. I get a lot of courting and attention yes (this is true for a lot of my other female friends even just average looking, so yes i think that is a thing), but i have pursued something like 5% of all that attention in my adult life and have had 4 sexual partners since 17. My current group of female friends of 24 to 34 have roughly similar body counts. This group of friends is an expat group from all parts of the wo…

Many people have clearly pointed out to you that not all women go into marriage expecting a man to provide. You keep restating this point and not counteracting it except with “i don’t think” it is that way. I think the problem is you’re not open to changing your own assumption about all/most women’s motivation for marriage/ what you should do in a marriage. It seems you’re posing the question as a roundabout way of stating (maybe even to yourself) that marriage is simply not for YOU. Based on th…

Do you say that as a gay man? I sure hope so.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
