This is a good point, but while it is definitely more scrutinized when the woman is in her early 20's I still find this issue to be taboo say when a woman is 30 and the man is say 50. At what point can one say without hesitation that a person is completely responsible and accountable for themselves?

That is definitely a valid point and there are definitely many times where that is the case on his show. I just disagree that the medium overwhelms the message the majority of the time, especially when compared to conservative talk radio. It's not perfect but it's definitely one of the best places that I have found to find live unedited content of very respectable people talking about relevant issues from different perspectives.

It's not that dating younger women causes more scrutiny or even anywhere near the same amount of scrutiny. It's the fact sexual freedom should apply to everyone except for the perceived privileged groups. Because fuck it they have everything already because they are the "patriarchy". If that isn't hypocrisy I don't know what is.

Now that I look further into it, the self reporting bias with the factors of 2 and 3 may skew this to support the 80/20 rule. However, those factors are an incredibly significant change and I will have to look more into the statistics of it all to see, if when the factors are applied, the numbers still add up (the total # of sexual partners for men and women must be equal).

I don't think that is an accurate way of incorporating that self bias factor at all. You simply cannot divide the % of women who claim they have had no sexual partners by 3 and state that now instead of 12%, only 4% of women have had no sexual partners. Instead it would have to be applied by its definition. If women under report by a factor of 3 then women who claim to have 1 partner really have had 3. Then look at the shift in %'s.

That's fair but here are the highlights which are definitely not ambiguous: "Has a male ever put his penis in your rectum or butt (also known as anal sex)?" I am definitely focused more on the lifetime partners rather than the 1 year data. I do wish however that the study broke up the 15+ category as that could paint a better picture here.

I would say unlike the rape study this study does define what is what. In the rape study, women where asked ambiguous questions like did you FEEL unsafe etc., where as the questions this study asked were very straightforward: "Thinking about the last 12 months, how many male sex partners have you had in the 12 months since [appropriate month/year filled in]? I definitely understand that men and women are prone to lying about their sexual history. However, I am arguing that even when you factor in the self reporting bias into this study you are still nowhere near an 80/20 reality.

Compare table 1 (Women # of sexual partners in past year) to table 2 (Men # of sexual partners in past year) and table 3 (Women # of sexual partners lifetime) to table 4 (Men # of sexual partners lifetime). For example, % of women who have had 0 lifetime partners aged 20-24: 12.6% (3.4 standard error), 25-29: 3.4% (1.1 standard error) compared to % of men who have had 0 lifetime partners aged 20-24: 14.4% (3.1 standard error), 25-29: 3.8% (0.8 standard error).

I would say that doesn't just exclusively happen with women, I for one am the exact same way. In general I would say people become more attached the longer they know someone and attractiveness starts to be more than just a physical thing. But maybe it is just more prevalent in women?? Also that doesn't really disprove the fact that in general it is easier for women to have sex if they so choose. If anything it supports it, as it would imply that if a woman decides she wants to have sex that part…

Another piece of evidence when looking at tinder. The graph at the bottom can be very interesting; if you are right around 80% in attractiveness (Top 20%) only 5% of women will like you.

Thanks that definitely clear some things up! But it seems like this is all based on our ancestral DNA which goes back to the beginning of the human race. I wonder if there is any recent data on this issue, as I assume times would have significantly changed especially among different cultures.
