You do know feminists are just working for bettering womens rights and that they are not working against men doing the same for ourselves, right?

What do you find wrong with the wording?

Wow, you have a lot of holes in your historic knowledge 😅 Its a known fact that women provided food too in the stoneage, they did so both by gathering greens and berries and such, but also animals, by hunting (please tell me you don’t honestly think women just looked at an animal that was near them and thought, “naaa, it is not part of my job-description as a woman to kill animals” 🤷‍♂️😆). Naturally the ones who were breastfeeding babies didn’t go far away from the camp, thats a given, but even …

Ofcourse women have been oppressed, thats a given, as they had no right to vote, no right to own anything, no right to educate themselves, no right to work and earn their own money, no right to make choices for themselves, no right to body-autonomy, no right to anything basically and naturally there are still effects of that part of our history in the western world. As I wrote already, almost the same was the reality for most men in earlier times, with the one exception that they were in charge …

I know several women in relationships with men who earn less than the women and it doesn’t matter to any of the women, all that matters to them is, that their partners are good and decent people, with a personality that matches the woman herself and vice versa.

It is what most women have usually given in a relationship and ofcourse now that they do not need to be in a relationship, they want the same in return

Economy is not the way to benefit a woman who is doing fine economy wise by herself. Being a great partner is what its all about, being emotionally invested in the relationship, being a loving, caring, supportive partner, trustworthy, honest, interested in her life, interested in spending time with her, building a life together, taking equal responsability in the partnership, home, common life, children, everything. That is what most women express hope of finding in a partner.

Which positive changes and progress do you think the subs should work to achieve?

Why would you want to “stay neutral” to the fact that 2% of the worlds population own 50% of the world? It is the way of structuring the world, which was build by the most powerful and rich men, to begin with kings for example, that is patriarchy, the almighty “father” ruling his kingdom without sharing the decision-process with otheres who are affected by the decisions made, whether “the kingdom” is a country, a family or something else. You can stay neutral if you don’t mind the state of the w…

Just as most women would like to be loved…just from a stand point where they can choose by who and have the possibility to leave, if the man mistreats them…women saying they “don’t need a man”, are not saying they don’t want a man and I’m sure, if they are lucky to meet one that actually treats them as an equal partner and not as a wife and/or mother/caretaker, the two will have a good chance of living a long and primarily happy life together and even when life treats one of them hard, they will…

The whole idea of wanting to prove that patriarchy doesn’t excist comes from an idea that men and women are in opposition, which is not true. As an example, all women and the majority of men (all working class men) fought side by side across Europe against patriarchy, when we fought for the right to vote in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Before women were allowed to vote, only the richest of men had that right, in most european countries only around 15% of men. When we fight against women who f…

Where did you get that idea? I know way more women who would without a doubt prefer a non-materialistic man over a materialistic man. They are (ofcourse, I guess) not the women sharing “perfect” self-images in abondance on Instagram and such. It seems to me, you are seeing ghosts, if you think all women want materialistic men and honestly, I see a lot of similar misunderstandings in the threats in here, with a lot of men who seem to think women are all the same, acting the same, wanting the same…

Do you not believe that men who rape should be taught not to? And do you not believe that men in general have a responsability to help these men to learn how to behave better? There is so much bigger potential for progress in mens conditions in working FOR something than there is in working against womens rights. From what is known so far, there are more men raping other people, both women and men, than there are women doing so, just as there are more men who are violent towards their partner th…

Thats such a paranoid idea, that women striving for bettering womens conditions is something they are doing against us. Do you also believe that your house becomes smaller if your neighbour expands their house?

I haven’t been here long, but I completely agree that there seems to be a lot of hatred towards women in general and in particular towards women who are feminists and even men who are feminist, which makes no sense, as feminism is all about equal rights for everyone, hence men too

That just isn’t true. This is my only account and its kind of funny that you think someone must be a woman, just for sticking to the truth, right after claiming men are more logical.

Most kids I know, prefer their moms over their dads, most likely because kids need emotional security, love and caring, something we could learn a lot from women about providing for our kids.

You wrote women were killing our kids and I’m pointing out that if we stop women who do not want to be parents from choosing not to be, we will end up as single dads. That should be obvious to anyone.

And let me tell you, now that you mention the story about the birds and the bees, that no woman has ever gotten pregnant without a man involved, its not something women do to us, its something two people do together, but only one of those people have to carry the consequenses if the two people end up in a situation with an unplanned pregnancy and that person is not the man, so ofcourse the choice is the womans. Think for a minute, if you would even like the alternative, where we got to choose th…

The State says so, just as it says a woman needs her husbands approval if she wants to be sterilized, there is no difference and if we want to change it, we should demand the states that still practice it change their practice, instead of writing eachother on Reddit about it, complaining about it. A woman can use birth control and still get pregnant, just as a man can use birth control and still get a woman pregnant, that does not change the fact that a woman can never be responsible for carrien…

It goes both ways in places that still operate that way, which is not only in the US

To be fair to them, it is their bodies that would change and never be the same again and even could be permanently damaged, she could have postpartum depression and several other complications…you wouldn’t do that to yourself, to birth a child for someone else, if you don’t want to be a parent at the time or with the person who got you pregnant, I’m sure

It doesn’t matter if anyone uses the word girl as an insult or not. The grown woman who made the screenshotted post (and plenty other grown women) finds it insulting and with good reason clearly, cause as the reactions to this post shows, grown people do not appreciate being called something that refers to them as children.

I get it. A protest to us calling grown ass women girls all the time, which must be annoying as hell and feel very condesending. Maybe we should stop doing that and maybe then women won’t start calling grown men boys.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
