What age group? Women, as they get older, tend to be less superficial. I hear stories, though, of short guys being practically invisible online at younger ages.

People are not looking at you and thinking you are pathetic. Most dont even bother to think about you. A few might give you a few moments of thought and think "that's too bad about the divorce" amd then they will go on with their lives not thinking about you. But I really doubt anyone views you as pathetic. That's in your head.

What's "the change?" Menopause? I honestly don't know. Just speak on plain English.

She's going to own half that 718, so expect to make concessions in the divorce if you do buy it.

Good luck. Don't get one-itis. Don't put any pressure on this or get your hopes up. Statistically speaking, there's a near zero percent chance this person should be the next love of your life. Just treat it like she's an interesting person you want to know and ask her questions to get to know her better. Don't get attached to the outcome. If you can do that, you'll be more natural and charming on the date and it also protects you a bit.

You are making the point for us. It's the higher earner that gets screwed. If the higher earner is a woman, then she's paying child support while stay at home dad loafs and uses the child support to keep the lifestyle he's accustomed to. There's nothing stopping men from making false allegations.

That's the answer. My ex worked and earned the same as me. We split everything down the middle, including custody. Most of the complaints here are from guys that outearned their wives and resent that she got half "his" savings that she didn't contribute to. And now he pays child support (which it is in the best interest of the child to benefit from dad's wealth even when not with the dad).

This has nothing to do with this subreddit.

Reread it. Pay attention to the title and the last paragraph. Granted, it reads a bit like a ACT reading question and the OP messed up the conditional or subjunctive or something. In that instance, I saw WHAT MY future WOULD HAVE BEEN HAD I STAYED MARRIED. A seventy something year old man with a wife that tells me who I can and cannot talk to. Apologies for the capitalization. I wanted to show what I changed.

You may have missed the point. If OP had remained married, he would have ended up like his ex father-in-law - henpecked and controlled by women.

Just go on the date. It sounds like you might be getting ahead of yourself, though. Don't get your hopes up or put her on a pedestal. Enjoy the date but don't get attached to the outcome.

The best revenge is a life well lived. It isn't letting her live rent free in your head. The sooner you can get past fantasizing about these "harmless pranks" the better.

1) Don't talk about your ex. I don't care if your date starts trauma dumping on you about her ex. You just nod and be sympathetic but don't reciprocate. You might think you are bonding but it's a turnoff to women, whether they know it or not. You got this. And it gets easier the more dates you go on.

You want to know what I think about you? I don't think about you at all.

Dude, it's clear you have a lot of anger and are hurt . Each post shows it. Edit: Went through your post history. Anytime anyone tells you to get help you counter with the "you are projecting" defense. Maybe consider not everyone is projecting. And you're the one that thinks he found true love and honest women in southeast Asia? Yikes!

Sorry she hurt you so bad. When you recover, you might find you feel differently about doing the "right" thing.

These are photos of HER taken before they were together. Not shared memories. The right thing to do would give them back to her.

What are you wanting to hear? You haven't paid all of your child support anyway, so trying to say you shouldn't pay for medical expenses only because she chose the plan doesn't really hold water to me. Medical insurance is usually a trade off. Pick lower premiums and hope you don't need q lot of health care. Or go with a higher premiums with lower co-pays and more coverage. Hindsight is always 20/20, but I can see her not wanting them to be on your plan since you switch jobs and can't make your …

Got it. What's your attorney's take? Is he telling you to rollover and ask for 50/50 and forgoe all the rest?

Half of whatever her 401k grew by from the date you got married is half yours. Have you spoken to a lawyer yet? They will tell you how it works...because they want your business. They will tell you how you can "afford" their services (probably with a retainer and an agreement that you'll pay them the rest with your half of that same 401k). You are going to get screwed if you don't start being more proactive in this.

You need to speak to a lawyer as your understanding of the law is misinformed. No states say "50/50" in their code. They all just say something to the effect of neither parent (aka the mother) is presumed to have more custodial time than the other. That includes Texas. You have just as much right to 50/50 as the mother in Texas.

What state isn't 50/50 these days? Are you talking about a non-community property state or you are saying the state doesn't presuppose 50/50 custody? This is not the time to be chivalrous when she's trying to go scorched earth. There's nothing romantic about walking away without your 50% of community property or shunning alimony - so scratch that silly notion. Get 50/50 custody and you won't have to worry about paying for child support. She'll pay it to you. If she can pay for a lawyer then you …

No mention of that in the Columbus sub. Did these hat wearers rape anyone or were they "owning the libs?" Completely tasteless but the idea that women are less safe now than before is unfounded. However, defunding police did make women less safe.

So it's not about feeling unsafe. Lets call it what it is. She's making a hollow political statement by claiming she will not set foot in the US. And it's not like she's making any sacrifice; you two were already living outside the U.S under Biden/Harris. And you have to suffer for it. Selfish.

Doesn't feel safe in what way? Does she think MAGA bros are roaming the streets in packs, harming women? Someone is going to force her to not get an abortion? I get it. She's angry Trump was reelected but she's being awful selfish to act like she's too good to be inside the US for your parents' funerals. This has nothing to do with "safety" and she's acting like a petulant little kid. She could get over herself and go to the funeral. I hope for your sake she simmers down.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
