It's definitely more extreme online. My ex girlfriend was a "progressive liberal" type, with an SJW hair cut, but she did not act like a "man-hater" like the posts you see on reddit, at least not in person when she was with me. On reddit, people will tell a woman that her husband is worthless because he sneezed too loudly once.

American women and American men can't be just friends. But when I was in Colombia I witnessed lots of mixed gender friendships among young people. The difference is American men are sexually and romantically starved, so they can't be just friends with a woman, because they would inevitably end up wanting her as a girlfriend.

American women are generally obsessively hyper-avoidant of men they are not attracted to, so if your American girlfriend is spending one on one time with another man this is the sign of an affair or emotional affair.

What the men who are lashing out about purity culture don't understand is that one's own sexuality is embraced in a societally acceptable way through being social and slightly flirtatious, not through being conservative and inhibited Amish and Orthodox Jews have some of the highest birthrates in the world, meaning they have sex. And their sexual morals would be considered purity culture by most people.

Yes and no. I saw many escorts before getting my first gf and gf was way better. Kissing her, cuddling with her, and her kissing my neck all felt better than sex. That said, seeing an escort for the first time was kind of mind blowing, and it was validating in a way. Even though I knew that she of course was not sexually attracted to me, it was the first real confirmation I had that a woman wasn't disgusted by me. Before going, I really thought there was a chance that she would see me and turn m…

So my question is - what makes you believe there's an abundance of good options to choose from? Women cannot tell if they have good options or not, because they do not investigate their options. Women investigate their options by dating them, and then after dating him she has some information to judge if he is a good or bad option. But women typically reject the vast majority of men far earlier in the process than the first date, leaving the vast majority of her options uninvestigated.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
