3	Why we don't have male teachers. I used to be a carer in elderly homes for those with dementia. The part about needing a female in the room at all times to "keep an eye on things" resonated with me. After a while, they stopped doing that and just let me get in on with my job alone, so at least they realised I wasn't a "threat". My advice (M29), be open to meeting women your age and even a little older, be prepared for them to be mentally unstable, but don't go in with the assumption that they will be.
