I started super scrawny. My max bench when i started was maybe 135 pounds. Im 6-2 and my natural body type is very lean. If you put in the time and dedication you're body will build the muscle. You wont put on 20 pounds every year of lean muscle (unless you take roids, which i dont). As for lean bulking, in my experience you're better off bulking and cutting until you get to your goal weight. I do lean bulk now, only because im where i want to be muscle wise.
