I know plenty of great women! As for your friend, I'd honestly suggest that she be more cautious during lockdown as there has been a rise in muggings where I live as criminals know there's going to be barely anyone on the streets to help whoever they mug, and it's very easy to evade police so it's not like an addict who needs money is going to be put off by that.

Modern women? Entitled? Surely not...

Humans are actually herbivorous so I don't get why you think we were made to eat meat? Also, why are you fixated on what your ancestors did? Agriculture was a proponent of civilisation, sure, but the 'greatest' civilisations were also built on the backs of slaves, brutal wars which killed millions and pillaging. Should we go back to those standards too to make us great? We're past that stage. We should know better now. What's masculine about you buying some nicely packaged animal carcass in a su…

Oh so you get steak protein powder? Cool.

The rice protein powder I buy now is cheaper than the whey I used to buy, since it's rice instead of dairy I would expect it to be cheaper all across the board as dairy is one of the most expensive food products. Regardless, you save so much money on everyday food going vegan that even if rice protein powder was slightly more expensive you would easily make that money back from eating. On top of that, protein powders should really be a small part of your total intake so I don't entirely understa…

To clarify, you're suggesting that paying someone to bring a sentient life into this world, raise it in an unnatural environment where it is loaded with hormones and often abused, slit it's throat whilst hanging it upside down before chopping it into little pieces, package it nicely to not even look like meat and then sell it to you at a supermarket is masculine? Right. How about you watch a little bit of this documentary to prove your masculinity? For the record I'm not a fan of PETA, nice ad h…

You should check out Carl Lewis, he became vegan in his late twenties and credited "his outstanding 1991 results in part to the vegan diet he adopted in 1990" and then won gold again after his injuries even when he was well into his thirties and on a vegan diet for a number of years. To clarify, I'm not saying you should become vegan or anything, just that you seem to believe there are no vegetarian - let alone vegan - champions.

Most vegetarians/vegans adopt the diet to reduce animal suffering, whereas you seem very fixated on the notion that we expect vegetarians/vegans to be better than meat eaters in competitive sports? No one suggested that eating meat reduces competitive ability, just that it can have long-term negative effects on health.

1g/lb of LBM protein on a vegan diet is relatively easy - meat is overrated in terms of the protein it provides. You don't have to work '10x harder' and the vegan diet is FAR cheaper than any diet based around meat so I don't get where you get the idea that it costs 10x more?

Believe me, most vegans/vegetarians thought it was too good to give up at some point in their lives as well! Out of interest, what aspects of meat taste good for you?

Thanks for spreading some sound information with actual research to support it. Whilst I respect that everyone has a choice to eat the foods they desire, we really do live in a society that has been brainwashed to believe animal products are the absolute best at providing all the nutrition we need whilst the many studies (surprisingly, often the ones not funded by the animal/dairy industries) showing the negative effects of meat/dairy/eggs are brushed aside. I get that GLO has a certain persona …

Reminds me of this. Ugh... Just realised it has an audience in the background due to Conan O'Brien. Fuck.

I agree, but it's understandable that this post was easily overlooked due to the poor choice of title. Thoughts when reading: 'Alex "The Natural" is Back' - "Who is Alex? Why should I spend my time reading this post? I don't know Alex "The Natural" so this post isn't relevant to me." Or 'Woman cheats on her deployed husband - hamster goes off the rails trying to blame him.' - "Oh damn, what a bitch! The guy was deployed!? Hamster goes off the rails!? This thread is gonna be good!" Personally, I'…

I'm not arguing for or against the OP, I was just trying to understand if you had a solid response to him claiming a lot of the business school knowledge taught is non-pertinent irrespective of a student's planned direction after university. It seems more like you took it as him insulting their life work, so fair enough. Thanks for contributing to the discussion.

Fair enough. Although, I perceive it as him questioning the applicability of the above knowledge for people just starting out instead of him discrediting the work itself. Edit To the person downvoting posts they disagree with, you are doing nothing to change perceptions which you may disagree with. How about joining in on the discussion rather than wasting your time downvoting comments? It results in nothing.

What do you believe is so wrong about that quote?

This is very common in off-shore work but the tricky part is having a job to return to after those 6 months.

Oh yeah, I totally agree that there isn't a way to stop it. Just sucks it has to be this way.

I agree, but I still see most successful guys as wasted potential. Most guys in a 'solid career' are just sinking their precious time into a totally meaningless activity that pays well but helps no one currently or in the future and entirely exists to make some fat pricks at the top richer. I agree with that quote too, but in reality most generations in the past were wasted potential simply working on a field all day then going home to eat, sleep, and start it over again.

This isn't even that next level nowadays. The guys who buy 'real dolls' worth thousands of dollars then wash, dress and apply makeup to them everyday before carrying them around town are a contender.

Since you seem like a busy guy my best advice would be to try a "microadventure" (1 or 2 days outdoors), then afterwards you can try longer if you have the time! Also, bear in mind that the 'nature people' who love being outdoors aren't really any different than you, we just got exposed to it at and realised just how great it can be. Hiking through a silent, ancient forest inhabited by wild animals with huge trees scratching the sky. Reaching the top of a hill and being gifted with a jaw-droppin…

That photo is just scratching the surface, my friend. Even the guys who meet up in public with their waifus are tame.

Do you get out in nature much? I understand everyone is different but animals are incredibly fucking interesting and ALIVE - you get to watch their behaviours and bodily functions in real time. Connecting with nature is extremely valuable when living in a modern day society which is almost entirely detached from it; especially with animals as they teach us a lot about ourselves and values that we strive for.

Hope you don't mind, but OP made a fair point then didn't give much info on how to correct it so I'm going to hijack the top comment. The two links below contain exercises that should be done as often as possible to correct two of the main problems with modern day posture from sitting too much; anterior pelvic tilt (where your pelvis tilts forward more than it should, this causes an exaggerated arch in the lower back and gives the illusion of a larger gut) and forward head posture (what OP touch…

J Cole knows this all too well as he says in his song No Role Modelz: "Don't save her // She don't wanna be saved" and similarly in Work Out: "She bad and she know it // Some niggas save hoes, I'm not that heroic" Cole is incredibly RP after experiencing all of the groupies in LA.
