47/M two-year transformation storyThat's ridiculously inspirational. You look like a total beast in the after pic. Thanks for the tip to do IF but skipping the evening meal. I've tried IF with no breakfast but it tends to make me fidgety just when I need to get some work done at the start of the workday. No dinner seems to work a lot better (three days so far). | /r/TheRedPill | 18/04/18 10:05 PM
FR: (Health) Testicular Cancer and you... first hand experience Pt1Holy shit dude. If it's something you're worried about go see a doctor. Not something to fuck around with. I had a funny lump on a testicle about 10 years ago and it just turned out to be some kind of cyst which went away in a couple of months. Was a bit worried for a while, but there's nothing like being reassured by your doctor that everything is OK. | /r/TheRedPill | 08/05/16 11:15 AM
Speak Like a Man: Improving Speech QualityI recently joined Toastmasters to try and improve my speaking and confidence. I can highly recommend it. It's actually pretty fun. Preparing and practicing a speech (even a five minute one) is a lot of work but it gets easier the more you do it. If you're not speaking regularly as part of your job you'll simply never get the practice necessary to become good. Or become not awful in my case. | /r/TheRedPill | 13/03/16 09:59 PM
Goal-Setting vs Training (and a primer on Opportunity Costs)Here's my take on convexity. A convex curve is bowl shaped. If you imagine yourself as at the bottom of the bowl, the area around you is pretty flat. Taking a step up the side gets you a little bit higher, but a subsequent step raises you a little more, but that little more is greater than how high you went on the first step. This is because the the curve of the bowl gets steeper the further away from the bottom you get. That's what OP is saying - the value you get from a small step in an activi… | /r/TheRedPill | 25/01/16 12:45 AM
30 Day Challenge - Small Talk Part 2: Women BoogalooThe coding thing is tough. I always find after a 8-hour coding session that I can't string words together to make a coherent sentence for a while. Programming must turn off the part of the brain that does conversation/social stuff or something like that. | /r/TheRedPill | 04/01/16 09:24 PM
I'm(28M) learning how to be a man in my 20's what I should have been taught in high schoolAnyone else suffering this should look into Vitamin D3. And obviously fix your diet and gym. Agreed - if you're feeling down in winter time go get your vitamin D levels checked and pound down 5,000 IU of D3 per day until it gets better. I used to get somewhat depressed in the winter months. Lifting, diet and vitamin D together have made a big difference. | /r/TheRedPill | 13/05/15 01:01 AM
Taking care of your faceBeen supplementing Vitamin D3 since then and have felt more energetic. I thought it was just me. I've been lifting, sleeping better and working on my Vitamin D levels and my energy levels are through the roof. | /r/TheRedPill | 24/01/15 02:36 AM
