NYS pistol permit application can take up to 6 months in my county, in some it takes longer than a year. in NYC you'll never get one unless you are rich and famous. Not to mention you aren't even legally allowed to apply until you turn 21.

I'm in my second year of college, and the one big thing is scholarships. There are thousands of scholarships for women and minorities, but being a white man, there are very few scholarships available and the competition is fierce. I lost out on going to my number 1 school because my 3.9 GPA wasn't enough to win a scholarship. I'm assuming small people with small hands and low arm strength will be using this. Sure I could recommend they carry an N frame Smith in .44 mag, but that is just going to scare off the person and make them think all handguns are huge and scary.
