1	Do you think womens mental health is taken more seriously than mens mental health? Yes 100% it is. Where I am from (South Africa), men suffer in silence. When they have mental health issues they are generally not taken seriously (Sometimes not even by their own family and friends) Going to a therapist (while more commonplace now than in my parents generation) is still scoffed at. Men simply have nowhere to turn to and many men take their own lives. Society here views men as all powerful and macho.
