It's perfectly ok to ask questions if someone's not sure if they understood the sidebar content correctly, all beginnings are difficult. Also, reality is far more complex than any theory, so it's important to have a place to ask and discuss, especially for tricky cases. I agree though, that many questions on here can be answered with a quick look into the sidebar.

That statistic I linked shows that people (men and women) on Tinder use it, among other reasons, as boost of their self-esteem and that there are many who do that. So there's a reason to assume that this might be the cause of somebody not answering. If you choose not to believe in a statistic that doesn't reflect your opinion, I can't help you. Also, people using dating apps just for a self-esteem boost are wasting the time of those who are there for dating, obviously. Have a good day.

But assuming women are there for a self esteem boost is kind of offensive tbh. Here's some evidence that women do that, so no offense in that. And men do it too, so humans obviously tend to act for selfish reasons, surprise. Even though, considering the Tinder experience that men usually report, it's hard to believe that they get much of a self-esteem boost from there.

a population of mice doubles every year starting with two in the first year f(x) = 2^x -> 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, .... the population would be four in the second year, 16 in the third year, 256 in the fourth year f(x) = 2^(2^x) -> 2, 4, 16, 256, ...
