The response is a kitchen joke, guy. It’s tired and weak.

She did have it coming but you did yourself no favors by answering the way you did.

HR doesn’t “work for both”. They’re there to manage liability.

That’s what makes him so great. He bides his time and takes his punches. He will indeed have the last laugh when the polar ice caps melt permanently and the oceans remain the planet.

Oh, yeah, you'd 'tap that.' What, Seth, you think you're cool with your little Jew Fro? We don't say 'tap that.' What are you talking about, Seth?

I’m married with kids fam, and not the one here with completely unreasonable expectations regarding dating partners and the world in general.

I doubt you’re getting far enough with women to even make that call.

Thread? It’s a good chunk of this sub.

My original question was what good does it do to make these comments? To which you replied: About as much good as it does for the narrative to always focus on white on black crime, but completely ignore stories where it’s reversed. To which I replied: What narrative is this by the way? I see a media that isn’t really afraid to demonize people of color to push various narratives.. Back to you: Oh really? What riots happened over the last 5 years because a black person killed a white? We’re talkin…

Bring more clarity to your point u/ManBearPig489. Do you think that crimes levels between black-on-black are the same as black-on-white? The majority of violent crime is usually committed within one’s own race: white-on-white, Latino-on-Latino, etc. You’re conflating centuries-long police brutality and the subsequent riots with black-on-white crime to make what point? Are those two equivalent?

I agree. Needlessly projecting strawman attacks on these idiots who did this is a prime example of your point.

It seems many of you can’t really address the original concern I brought up in my first comment. The guy above just brought up more and more strawmen in order to try and find a point.

Exactly my point for questioning the original comment I replied to, “Why did racism make us do this?”

About as much good as it does for the narrative to always focus on white on black crime They say in a story literally about black on white crime. 🧐 What narrative is this by the way? I see a media that isn’t really afraid to demonize people of color to push various narratives..

Look, as a person of color, I do think it’s necessary to call those out who weaponize the racism card and use it to justify further ignorant behavior, but ..your comment and the parent comment are blatant strawmen arguments. Unless these people are quoted as saying such, what good does it do to make these comments? Edit: I fully expected the downvotes when I’m going against the grain here. Looking to call the bullshit where it’s due, even though it goes agains the narrative.

Right, the personalization of the web in the US created bubbles where tons of misinformation has and will continue to spread. It feels like we’re on the verge of civil war.

Cheap upvote points. When you watch the movie he comes back. His particular storyline is a transition from a smooth talking player into relationship-guy.

These are the takes on Superman that I want to see. The morally gray Superman. The boy scout is boring and is written in a way that largely avoids the larger conversation of an actual god living among us.

Doesn’t sound like she’s not interested, could be just bad timing. Play the long game with this one.

Thanking her for sex was indeed cringey but not the whole post. I give the guy credit for realizing his mistakes and taking time to self reflect.

She doesn’t sound interested. She might like the attention from someone chasing her. Hanging out the whole night with them, following them to their car and the 4am FaceTime call reek of desperation. So I bought them, hoping to use them with her. I know this feeling. I have a feeling your body language was super possessive and desperate all evening. Getting your hopes up is the fast track to having your non-verbal communication project that you’re chasing her in an unattractive way. You didn’t de…
