As soon as he said "do you like to do it yourself?", I knew it won't work in real life... He'd get slapped and the security called on him lmao.

Why do you think I'm on this sub, lol... Easier said than done though, for many of us, unfortunately.

Problem with talking about dating for people who haven't dated is that asking questions with nothing to give back in return is weird and maybe creepy. Like what if you're 34 and had no prior engagements with women?

Ummmm... Do you say the above to people in hostels?

If you don't mind, could you give afew examples of how you might approach a random guy on the campus to make a friend of?

Much easier said than done. I've never seen anyone cold approaching a stranger irl without having work with them.

What, how? In what setting would he meet people, since he doesn't go to uni to attend classes or some way to get introduced to new people.

If it's someone you don't expect to meet more than once or twice, when is okay to contact them to hang out? Thing is I don't have many friends, so any plan would be one on one... So idk what's appropriate without being weird. I know I ask too many questions, but I'm trying to nail down making friends/socialising before I even get to dating which is hard enough as it is in India.
/r/seduction14/05/24 10:38 AM

It's a little less about "why" are we hanging out for me. I have trouble connecting or communicating to them that I want to hang out again and when it's appropriate to contact them and how.

Very nice, you disgusting lump that calls itself a human being.

I'm okay with talking to people normally, but there's this kind of barrier to socialising for me. I don't know how to establish a friendship outside the setting I meet them in. Like if I play football with some guys, I only meet them at football, if I meet a friend of a friend, I only meet them if my friend takes me along to them. I've lost the sense of making a new friend I can call and idk what to do.

Not just foreigner, white foreigner. Not saying this out of bitterness, but there is a strong hierarchy of preference in Japan. Fellow asians especially brown ones are at the bottom, making us play on hard mode.

Nope, the other day I happened to mention being a virgin in front of a woman (who I in fact expected to be prudish or conservative) and immediately she went "ew".
/r/seduction09/04/24 09:15 PM

It's not like I know or meet many people, so I don't have that choice. I have like 3 female friends in different parts of the world from where I am now, idk when I'll be talking to any girl again. I know I sound foolish or desperate, but I'm here to learn.
/r/seduction07/04/24 07:16 PM

Yeah, you wouldn't be able to tell if you met in a friendly setting, but I crumble under any pressure in human interaction... Kinda a side effect of incessant bullying and chronic isolation.

Really? In my experience what happens is you stammer and forget how to talk and look away due to intimidation.

Actually, your example kinda works... I didn't learn to drive till I was 30 coz I was afraid of hurting other people

Problem with certain abilities like flirting is that if you don't know what you're doing, you're very easily crossing a line. I don't want to do something uncomfortable or inappropriate. Maybe even illegal if the other person feels harassed.

How're you meeting the women you're becoming friends with?

I'm aware. It was me just feeling bad. I'll be plain honest, I don't know a lot of sorts of social skills that a lot of people take for granted, yet if one sees me, I'm perfectly socially adjusted and don't come across as weird initially. Reality is I don't know who I'm really allowed to talk to and with whom I can initiate conversation and what I can say. Especially now that I'm 32, I get scared of even trying to talk to girls (already scared of talking to people, especially girls) in their ear…

People are mocking you and downvoting you, but I understand. I have no game or any way to talk or approach people especially in the lack of a strong context. Difference being I'm over 30 and never touched a woman. I have no troubles if I'm thrown into a social environment, just that I don't know how to voluntarily get into one. Wildly differing results, but I understand your concern deeply.

Where can I shoot my shot? Living in a relatively conservative country, turning 30 next year, I don't have friends and I don't know where to go in my city coz I don't know what goes on here, never tried flirting with a girl even when I was in school or college and after that I don't know or meet any girls.

It's amazing that age isn't a problem for you... Gives hope to 30 yr old virgins... If you have any tips you'd share with us??? Even I'm trying to sort out my life currently, but have also never dated/flirted with a girl.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
