My fav moment from Patrice was how he described the ring he gave his girl. Loosely paraphrased, "It's a nice expensive ring because she likes that shit and she can show off to her friends. But it's not an engagement ring by any means."

I like that way of looking at it. The motivation to prove him wrong becomes an asset. It's a good thing you have a passion aside from working. I've talked to many people who have no hobby outside work or school. It creates a void in life when there is no activity to become passionate about.

That's a false equivalency, but I'll roll with it. If that was guy was severely beaten and manipulated his whole life, then became a murderer, I would understand and have some sympathy for him because he is still a person at the end of the day. Exactly. That's why it's hard to blame one when they're not charming, funny, or have some great passion for something. They never had to so why would they. It's condescending, but it's hard not to have some pity.

This 100% While I commend MGTOW for its better understanding of gender than today's norm, I suggest looking at some content by the Chads/Tyrones usually mentioned here. One of my fav comedians is also the best to ever step on the dating scene, Patrice O'Neal. I suggest everyone giving him a listen. I think many here would enjoy his insight.

The only thing the original comment could have used is a comma between "are" and "going." Other than that, it's unnecessary to act as if the original comment was hard to understand in any way. As someone who professionally writes books and edits screenplays, this is one of my biggest pet peeves. Someone acting as if a simple grammatical error makes the entire statement incomprehensible. Don't be a dick, bird.
