I agree hugs are awesome. Hugs as a sign of escalating tension on a date are... Ehhh. Siblings hug. Committed partners hug. Friends hug. I really hope you achieve your goal (no /s intended at all) I get it, I've been in a similar spot in my life before. Not, never hugged, but other things. All i can say is, and it won't make sense to you most likely, is go live your life. Invite people to be a part of it. Be friendly, but not friends, at first, with people you are interested in. But also, you ca…

Look up: How to flirt How to build excitement How to break the touch barrier Once you've done these things naturally and engagingly, with a person who is interested, you'll skip right past hugging. Hugs are... Ehhh

You went from zero to 20. (But not zero to 60, either) Slow burn, escalate, and build. Learn when to switch into second gear. Tough, but happens. Need to learn to slowly rev the engine and build up to it. Also, hugs are... Ehhh

Try a clinical psychologist not a "counselor" The ability to get licensed by the state to provide therapy has a very low barrier to entry

nervous. Insecure. Would it be alright... If... If I... Rushing to finish the sentence if I kissed you? Confident and suave, but sincere, leaning in close would it be alright, if I kissed you? It is all about how you say it, not what you say.

It is all a matter of how you phrase it.

I am not sure where 90% of these comments are comfy from, but can I ask... Why don't you just talk to him and say you like to build trust and intimacy before sex. You think there is a connection here and want to build on it and see where it goes, but take the physical escalation a little slow. Then, see how he feels and responds. Your text seems fine, but I would just say, guys (am a guy) don't get subtilty. Just talk openly and have the conversation, but understand we are human with emotions, w…

You cannot be in love if you don't know her. We know you don't know her because you don't even know why she does/doesn't text. You're infatuated and quickly "falling" for an idea... A fantasy.

Go workout, beat off, run a mile then sh-t, shower shave. Maybe go bug a friend or play VG or whatever the hell it is you like to do. Stay out of your head, reality doesn't exist there... And in the world of fantasy there be dragons.

You can get girls and be a real human being and a gentleman without being a "nice guy". You should love women, not just fucking them Edit: a word. And to add: Being a decent human doesn't make you a pussy, but thinking and acting the way you do sure makes you an asshole.

In the future maybe don't laugh and scoff at someone experiencing the exact same emotional state you are in? Would have loved to had read you told her the truth and both had a great night. But kudos man, go notch that bedpost. /s

This is just silly. It's a FWB/FB situation. Emotions, including nervousness and embarrassment, shouldn't be part of the equation. It's casual and it's sex. Enjoy it. Hit him up when your wanting some, let him know he can do the same. There should be zero expectation on either of your parts as to whether there is an obligation to meet up or anything. If you hit him up and he is down, awesome. If not, same. (Same goes for him hitting you up) Unless you are trying to turn this into a relationship …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
