If you believe survival of the species is enough and continuing your own genetic line doesn’t matter then sure. You do you. Personally I want to pass on my genetics. I won’t be the point of failure in my lineage. I look to both history and nature to understand the world around me, I see parasites and other things which disgust me. I also see things that are informative. Historically unfaithful women and their children have never been tolerated by society at large. Why should that change?

The circumstance being discussed is the very definition of a cuckold. Do you understand that the notion of love can be, and often is, temporary? I have no reason to love and raise another mans child and to be honest it creeps me out. Any resources spent raising another man’s child are wasted resources. Those resources could be better directed towards raising my own children. This is how it works in nature and I see nothing wrong with that.
