Yes, I think they face discrimination for being female, and I think they equally play up the fact that they're female to gain favor. It all mostly equals out in the end.

Hypergamy would dictate that for women, the ideal person is the only right person.

Came here to add on: It seems like people are suffering from overwhelming black and white thinking. The people I know having kids will still occasionally get drunk and party, they just can't do it as often. It's not like once you get married and start having kids that you suddenly can't relate to people in their 20's. I'm 32, and I have 3 friends in their mid-40's, and we still hang out and find it easy to relate to each other. After your mid-20's age really does just become a number.

Sounds like you considered each other broken up, and your response when he finally made contact confirms that. I'd say not cheating.

I don't think enough people realize that when dudes have tits, those are mostly female breasts. Being fat by itself doesn't grow man boobs. Having gynecomastia is what grows man boobs, and they are at that point female breasts.

I'm not sure if using the extremes of the bodytypes are really the best way to determine anything. Plus, what women say they're into, and what they go for are often worlds apart.

The biggest difference I've seen in myself is when I learned to make rock-solid eye contact. Everything else fell into place after that. I've noticed that when I'm not making eye contact, it's more difficult to follow what they're saying, and more difficult to find what to say next. It becomes second nature with solid eye contact.

As far as I can tell, there's a couple reasons why this is said: 1. Because there will always be a sexual element between men and women. Men will fuck a chick that he isn't attracted to, but women seem to see guys they aren't attracted to as non-sexual beings. So, a woman can find friendship with a guy, but a guy can't find true friendship with a woman. And 2. because there's always a massively different dynamic in male/female interactions. Broing out goes completely out of the window with women…

The biggest irony is men are working against their own self-interest being anti-sluttiness/sex work, and women are working against their own self-interest by pretending that it's "empowering".

Sense of humor (or at least doesn't get offended by my jokes) is number 1. She doesn't need to be smart, but she needs to not have the intellectual capacity of an 8 year old. Non-neediness and doesn't talk too much are also pretty essential. Everything else is whatever.

Agree. I interpreted that quote as saying men don't do shit anymore. She's not asking them to just go to war, she's asking for them to do something valuable with their time instead of jacking it to porn and the like. Men these days are pretty worthless. I think it's a pretty RP message, actually.

Can't speak for everyone, but the only reason I look down on it is because it's barely one step removed from being a cuck. Raising another man's kid is like letting your neighbor mow your lawn. Nothing wrong with it, but it would make me feel like a bitch.

He said he didn't know. Didn't know what? That he was raping her? Not saying he did, but that's just how it would be interpreted. He's sorry for the pain that she never actually voiced. Lots of rape cases don't involve a woman actually voicing her displeasure.

"i’m sorry i didn’t know my bad, i thought you was having fun" implies that a rape likely happened. "i’m sorry tho" is an admission of guilt. It's like when you get into an car accident. You're never supposed to use the word, "sorry" at any point because it could be interpreted as an admission of guilt.

You can read every book and scholarly paper on the planet, but still not know how the first thing about how the real world works. I apply feminist theory and I'm left more confused about why X, Y, and Z don't seem to fit the way they say it should. Then, I apply red pill theory, and every dot starts connecting for me. This is true for me. I don't like to play monkey dancing games, even if she's very attractive. I'd choose to be single before doing that. This is tapping into one of the most fundamental differences between men and women. Women are socially-oriented, men are more object-oriented. Men enjoy challenges such as working on their car more often than women, but women are more likely to want challenges in their relationships. Which would explain why a woman are so much more willing to fight for a man t…

I think your comment needs to be applied to OP, not here. OP said, "All attractive men with alpha traits will cheat and have a mistress on the side." All the person responding needs to do is find one circumstance where that isn't true, and the entire premise of the OP falls flat on its face.

Considering very few men actually practice TRP, I'd say that any women doing that would really be wasting their time. One of the main points of TRP is to avoid getting taken advantage of, implying that it's already super easy to take advantage of ordinary men. Why try to tame a tiger when you can just tame a house cat?

That's a good point. Single girls are such free spirits and always down to do whatever with their friends, but when they get into a relationship (if they're with a good dude) they'll start following his lead and hanging out with his friends more often, taking her away from her friends.

Dude, making it to the gym after a physical job is infinitely easier than making it to the gym after a day of sitting in front of the computer. When you move around all day, your testosterone increases, and it's an easy transition to hit the gym. I know this because I'm 32, and I've worked both kinds of jobs throughout my life.

Both men and women have to sacrifice parts of their sexual imperatives to accommodate child rearing (polygyny for men, hypergamy for women). Women, not so much anymore since divorce and premarital sex is as common as it is today. Which is kind of what spawned TRP in the first place, men who stepped back and saw this happening realized they were getting the shaft.

At that age, surely you can manage to go again shortly after, right? The expression, "first one's for you, second one's for me" amongst women exists for a reason. It shouldn't be too embarrassing to cum to fast because at the very least, it's a compliment to her. Just laugh it off and don't be insecure about it, then give it another go when you're ready again.

I’d stay away from big chain gyms since they are expensive and there’s a bunch of meat heads and stuck up people. I think it's overstated, but I've had my gf unintentionally confirm it in herself one time. She literally told me that she gets turned on when she knows other girls want me. I know that's just anecdotal, but that's all I really have to go off of at this point.

"Praised" isn't the word I'd use. No one is getting overtly praised for high N-counts. It's just an unspoken clout you build amongst guys, and pre-selection amongst women. Also, not sure a guy cheating on his gf with two different girls is a good example. Yeah, people tend to look down on cheating.

If it was everyone's nature then we'd see women doing the same things men do(lying, cheating, stealing, forcing) They don't? Be it for sex, money, or power, everyone does those things. and since as you say sex strategy is amoral - then men shouldnt be complaining I agree. It's not about complaining, it's about understanding.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/20 02:08 PM

Cheating is not the same as trading up. Everyone cheats, sure, but that's not what I'm talking about. We're discussing the WHY of cheating. Women cheat due to hypergamy, men cheat because it's their sexual imperative to spread their seed as far and wide as possible (I guess you can call it our innate polygynous nature). I think the problem you're running into is you're jumping to these conclusions that if what I'm saying were true, then women = bad. Sexual strategy is amoral. We can observe men …

But it's very rare for a man to "trade up". Does it happen? Sure, amongst very rich and powerful people because they can, but the vast majority of men don't. For every Leo DiCaprio out there, there's a million Joe Blows. Women are always looking to trade up. Does that mean they always do? No, a lot of times relationships sour simply because the woman knows she can do better, and when it fizzles out "naturally" then they're free to find a better man. This is why TRP harps on hypergamy. It's neces…

When you say “making up” for lack of income what does that entail? I just mean that he will excel enough in certain areas that make you willing to look past his deficiencies. I am trying to get it because I always thought hypergamy was more about income/career status. Here's how TRP defines it in their glossary of terms: "The instinctual urge for women to seek out the best alpha available. This is marked by maximizing rejection (therefore women are the selective gender). A woman will vet her alp…

/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/20 08:20 PM

According to TRP theory, if you go with the man with a menial job it's because there is something about him that makes up for the lack of income (social status is the usual culprit). Thus, you're still being hypergamous because you're still reaching up. This contradicts with men because men flat-out don't care about a woman's wealth or social status.

I'd wait until she's 18, but I'm of the opinion that if an age difference were wrong, it should be illegal. It's not. I can go down the list and tell you how it varies depending on the day. Conscientiousness: I'm very organized in the morning and disorganized at night. I think the problem that people have with this is when they think of a 30+ yo guy, they're thinking of the average 30+ year old guy. Yeah, most guys as they get older start to lose value because they stop trying. TRPers hold themselves to a higher standard in a way because you're expected to keep bettering yourself (including your appearance) into your 30's. If you do it the right way, you should be more attractive in your 30's than you were in your 20's. It's just that the vast majority of guys…

It's on men considerably more. If a woman feels pressure to keep her job, that's her own pressure. Men feel the pressure from everyone else because everyone expects more out of us. Look, I've already highlighted how this isn't me playing victim because men are actually at an advantage having this additional pressure and expectations placed upon us.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/20 03:17 PM

The point is, the onus is always on us to not lose our jobs. Because expectations for us are different. If you're still confused then I don't know what to tell you anymore.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/20 05:38 PM

When it comes to motherhood, it's women that have more expectations. So, a single mother will be seen as not quite doing her job since she couldn't keep the man in the picture, but a single father is looked at in a more positive light since he's carrying the burden of a woman. Same thing, but inverted with men and women in the workplace. A woman working a minimum wage job is just attempting to take on masculine duties while the man is failing at those duties.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/20 05:27 PM
1

It's more about competency. If a woman gets fired from her job for a lack of competency, society isn't going to shame her like they do men. If she never gets another job then maybe society will start to shame her, but that has more to do with the fact that she's being lazy, not her incompetence.

Not to mention all the little everyday expectations that men have to deal with that women don't. Men are supposed to lead interactions, be the rock, keep a cool head, be the breadwinner, etc. Women try to take on these roles, but they aren't taking on any of the expectations and less responsibility. They get to have their cake and eat it too in a lot of ways. Having said that, that's why I think it's better to be a man, overall. You know all those abusive fetish porn videos that you scroll over and think, "What kind of sick fuck would be turned on by that?!" That's the porn women watch. Sometimes what turns people on isn't the healthiest thing for them.

It has for some. Online dating has taken some funny turns. At first everyone thought it was going to be a boon for men, but then women started becoming more selective, and it was then just a boon for women. Then, men realized how easy it was to get laid, thus they stopped committing. So, now, women are losing too, and it's really only a boon for the top 10-20% of men that get matches easily.

Let's say we use something like tinder as a way to assess our own SMV. Of course your tinder game is basically correlated to how good your photos are, but let's put that to the side for a moment. You completely refuted your own argument in the very next sentence. Why would we put that aside? The responses you get when you meet girls in person is an infinitely better yardstick. It seems like more and more dudes are leaning on dating apps as a crutch to avoid having to meet girls face to face.

Are most people satisfied in their relationships and themselves applying game techniques? Do they feel true to themselves? Is it actually fulfilling? The idea is, most of what you learn is really more about what you're unlearning. You're unlearning social conditioning that expects men to supplicate to women. So, really by applying TRP, you should be getting to the point that you're being your TRUE self, and not the guy society just wants you to be. That's why rule number 1 is always to get into …

I am attracted to some beta behaviors generally but the parts of trp like dread and apathy are designed to manipulate the natural human psyche that we all have. I don't disagree with that. I'm not a fan of using the word, "manipulate" because in reality, every social action we take is some form of manipulation when you break it down, but it would be better if everyone learned how to not be attracted to things that are mostly not good for them.

This post is wishful thinking, but TRP exists because it teaches us what gives girls the tingles. If you want to try to alter what gives you the tingles, be my guest. You ask most TRPers, and most will tell you they didn't want to have to apply any sort of game to their relationships from the get-go. It was just a necessity in keeping her attracted. People started having success with it, and it caught on. You'd be doing a lot of dudes a favor if you managed to find a way to be attracted to beta …

A lot of times girls just say this as a means of playing hard to get. Also, as far as you know, their relationship is shit and pretty much over anyway. Wanted to say this, and also, RP doesn't necessarily say women WANT to date men in their 30's, it says that as you enter your 30's you should be improving yourself, and you will inevitably be able to pull hotter 20 year olds than you could when you were in your 20's. Most guys in their 30's start to let themselves go, and so of course women in their 20's aren't going to prefer them. RPer's just hold themselves to higher standards.

I still wouldn't call that obvious. Is it unreasonable for the uninitiated to think that the woman you're marrying loves you just as much as or more than your mom? My default thought would be that your mother will love you less over time since she's not in your life as much, and your wife should love you more since you're creating a family together.

As you get older, you view young people as immature and off putting. Right, but I'm talking about guys here. We might not want to date a 20 year old at 40, but we're we'll still be attracted to girls of that age. Maybe that's the hangup here.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/20 05:18 PM

I'm speaking for the average man. Yes, there are absolutely some outliers, but in general, it's a safe assumption that a man that was attracted to 18 year olds at 18 would still be attracted to them the rest of their life. I don't know what more there is to say on the subject.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/20 05:02 PM

Like I said, outside of older women fetishes, what I said holds true. I think people need to realize that when a man is fully developed, what he is attracted to doesn't change over time. If he wants to fuck 18 year olds at 18, he'll want to fuck 18 year olds and 85. He may not do it because of the social implications, but he damn well wants to.

Some 40+ men are seriously not into 20 year olds. And I believe that you actually believe that. Super weird to think all men want people young enough to be their kids Proving my point.

It's a myth that all men want young women and all women want rich men. Agree on the latter, but, outside of grandma or MILF fetishes, I wholeheartedly disagree on the first. Much like post-wall women go for men they don't want because they have to, socially conditioned men tend to stop going for younger women (even though they want to) because they're scared of being scorned by society. Plus, younger women are going to be tougher to pull, but that isn't a concern for a truly red pilled man.

What I think a lot of people miss about TRP is that, for the most part, it pertains to the hottest women during their hot stage (ages 18-25ish). Because those are the women that men of purpose will want. TRP doesn't really try to explain the behaviors of post-wall women because, who cares? The same way women's dating sites aren't going to give much of a shit about how to win over average men. What's your advice for women to vet men out who aren't interested in them as a person? Hold out on having sex. A guy that isn't that attracted to you won't wait very long. I think the key difference is that women date up, and men will date anything. If at any point you lose your value, she'll be looking for someone to replace you. If a woman loses value, we tend to be lenient with them. Men are willing to settle (unless you're truly RP, of course), but women are not. Men prefer higher SMV, but women require higher SMV.

Most alpha behaviors are your primal default behaviors. I say most because I think being chivalrous to women is kind of a primal behavior also. I think there was something about this idea in "No More Mr. Nice Guy."

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
