This community really is aimed at improving yourself and not just to help you get laid. I wish more people from outside the community realized this.

This motivated me. And this too.

This. I'm afraid the advice that's most important about college has nothing to do with women and more to do with remembering why you're there and interacting with people in general. Here's some advice from me: Non-pickup, the most important: Keep good grades. There's nothing potential employers or women find attractive about a man failing academically. Get to know your professors and get involved- not necessarily with a fraternity. Get involved with organizations where you're managing people- li…

It's fucking wizard magic, dude. I've been working out for about 4 months. I'm completely dedicated and made it a part of the person I am- going to the gym almost 5 days a week to lift weights. I've changed my diet as well, cut out drinking beer, and just become a more healthy person overall. Part of it was also getting rid of some toxic people in my life. They were bringing me down, involved with drugs, too much drinking, and irresponsible with money. Health isn't all physical, it's mental too-…

This is great! I used to feel the same way- I still do sometimes. I had a friend who was just like the sleazes that OP mentioned. You know what he told me? He said "If I approach ten girls, and get shot down nine times out of ten, I still have success with one. And that's a lot more than anyone else had who was to afraid to go talk to just one girl. I failed nine times, but I won once and that's more than they did." OP, the thing you have to understand is that no one is waiting for you to fuck u…

This is a really good example. To build on this: You determine your own worth. You really do. I know you've heard that shit time and time again, because it's true! In addition, the criteria for being attractive as a woman is inherently small. The criteria for being attractive as a man is much broader. There are many things you can do for yourself besides 'looking' better that will boost your attractiveness.

This might get suggested, but don't post a picture of yourself on /r/malefashionadvice . Many times those guys are needlessly cruel/nitpicky. First thing I'd do is this: Jesus Christ man, get some self esteem. I guarantee you do something really well that you can derive some confidence from. Still there are others you can learn. Listen, women are fun, they're pretty, they smell good, they have boobies and vaginas. But they are not and should never be your sole source of validation First thing yo…

I was thinking just me and you :) Say this. His response to this will remove most of the doubt that you're having. It's really the best advice that's been posted so far. He'll either be into you or not, at least then, you'll know. It's not slutty. It's direct. Sure there is a chance for rejection, but that's the price you might pay for going for something you want. You either suffer the pain of rejection or the pain of regret. You choose. The difference is that the pain of rejection lasts just a…

Some girls just need to be insulted. Yeah, fuck that. Some playful teasing (the true sense of a 'neg') can be powerful, but a straight up insult will get you nowhere.

My advice? Don't go to a bar for the first time to pick up chicks. You're already outcome dependent, and if you go for the first time to try to pick up girls, you're going to have a bad time. And I think the rest of us 'veterans' would agree. Just go and have a good time with your buddies man. Focus on getting to know the staff (read: not* hitting* on the female staff). Lighten up a bit. And go be awesome.

Dank? I'd say you sank the ship more quickly by using the 'context clues' line. I think you came off as more of a sarcastic ass and not in a good way (although I'm sure you're not). I would have used the situation to talk about something falling apart in the city. Something like "I feel like this place is falling apart sometimes. I was on Main Street riding in my buddies car, he hit a pothole and I kid you not, blew out the tire!" Then you could ask her if she lives in the city, experiences the …
