I said that more works needs to done. I just finished my mandated training for it and it isn't enough. I also get a bit annoyed when I see a wounded warrior commercial because it reminds me that they exist because the government is not doing enough. My issue with the post is veteran suicide is more then a men's issue. It is both and it is talked about often. Posting it like this changes the conversation to arguing about people not caring about men instead of the real issue which is the extremely…

I post all over the place. I would have the mods focus on more issues. The vet suicide rate is a huge issue but to try and say that people are not paying attention to male vets and mainly paying attention to female ones is not true. We have a ton of programs for vets and more work does need to be done but we are making progress. I also see us acting like the groups we disagree with. I would fix it by stop finding ways to get offended and for the mods to find ways to have us work together a group…

I agree, we need to fix this sub. As a vet, the suicide rate upsets me for men and women. It is also talked about all the time for both men and women. Just cause men have a higher rate doesn't mean we can only talk about that.

This sub is slowly turning into a sjw one where people are trying to find things to get upset about instead of working to fix actual issues.

It is like that on TV. The guy is either a psychopath or a bumbling idiot who wife just rolls her eyes at all the dumb shit he does. I have seen so many guys who buy these big houses they can't afford because their wives want it then lose everything. They work 60-70 hours a week to provide a certain quality of life for nothing.

True, for some guys this is extremely difficult especially if their wives have had a significant amount of partners and relationships. I have it easy, my wife only dated one other person with a uneventful sex life before me. I have noticed with some of my friends who refer to their wives as the boss. This usually comes up with any important topic comes up, especially finances. They haven't been married for long so I am interested to see how that power dynamic affects their marriage.

Relationships subreddit has the same shit ever time. Your in a toxic relationship, emotionally abused, leave him and go no contact, and someone saying "this" on the top comment and just saying the same fucking thing for those sweet sweet up votes. Always the nuclear option.

It seems like it. This sub is becoming a little bit too sensitive for me. Makes us look like we are trying to get offended. This is a guy making a pun. If you don't like it then tell them. I'm pretty sure he doesn't really think rape is funny. People will stop taking MRA seriously if we keep pointing out everything as offensive.

It actually is a great book. Here is am example. My wife likes to get gifts that are personalized or well thought out. I don't care about gifts and I actually prefer people not to buy me gifts. She assumed that because she liked gifts I would. She read it and now she stopped buying me gifts and hooks me up in the bedroom.

The reason women need to be allowed into combat roles because we are having difficultly finding qualified Male applicants. The youth are overweight, have numerous mental disorders, and cannot complete the physical requirements to join the military. This results in not being able to fill a lot of the billets. We can do it now but 5 years from now it will be a lot more difficult. So, we can either not have enough people to complete the mission or accept a degradation in the performance of these un…

I agree, I have seen plenty of guys who see their wife as a shoulder to cry. They get home and just complain about work and everything else to their wives. The second she finds a real man I can see her running as fast as she can to him.

I totally get it, I don't understand but I get that your in a tough place. That being said, at some point people have to help themselves and sometimes a drastic move in necessary. I would talk to her friends and family to help. If she still won't help herself then talk to a lawyer and try for full custody.

Normal behavior, damn bro what women have you met. There has been plenty of times my wife has said, hey can you stay in tonight. My response was no because I made plans and the only reason she wanted me to stay in because she was bored. We didn't fight and it wasn't a big deal because she knows it is important to me to hang out with friends. Just like it is important for her to hang out with her friends. I have also met a ton of guys who just are shitty at keeping in touch with friends. One of m…

1 - She told you that she needs you to take care of her and there is no one else. Where the fuck does she get off telling you how to be a better boyfriend. You literally support her and give her everything she needs and it is still not enough. Look at yourself, do you feel like a man or a beta bitch. I'm not sorry for being harsh because you need to open your damn eyes. Also, stop stressing out, this can be the best thing that ever happened to you. Roll out, your liberated. You can live your lif…

1 - Not your problem. 2 - Break up and tell her to leave, if she won't evict her or tell your landlord too. 3 - You are on a leash and also getting nothing in return. She looks at you as her meal ticket and not a man. If you stick this out you will slowly be isolated from all of your friends/ The only time they reference you is when they are telling other people not to fall into the same trap you are. Get the fuck up, go for a run and clear your head. Sit down, write out a plan and get the fuck …

I have been married for about five years now and I am very happy. I have been with my wife for a total of ten years. She has a good pension job and I do well in my career. I agree that there are a lot of potential consequences. I haven't seen one red flag from my wife and I still adopt many trp principles. She stayed faithful and stuck with me through multiple deployments when I was a poor enlisted guy so I trust her. If you see any red flags do not marry the person. My friends have married some…

1 - For me that isn't the case. After my son it took a few months to get back into it but now we have sex more than ever. It is a bit of both for part 2 of question one. While my wife was breastfeeding it was difficult for her to look at herself in that way. If I acted like a beta then we wouldn't of had sex much. With the added stress I have been a bit rougher in bed with her and she is loving it. It is more your actions during the day. She is doing the dishes so I walk up, smack her on the ass…

Jokes are find but don't get yourself thrown into the friend zone. Show that your a confident person who has their shit together. Invite her for a drink and if she says no don't let it bother you. Just go back to acting like nothing happened and do the same thing every day.

Being an Alpha doesn't mean you are an asshole. If somebody is constantly an asshole I don't hang around them. Only time I really see people act like "assholes" here is when they are dropping knowledge that someone really doesn't want to hear. Just stop dealing with that person, there is nothing positive you get out of it.

Unrealistic expectations of what a boyfriend/ husband should. I saw so many women say they wanted to be equal but would treat their men like shit if they didn't do everything they wanted. Then I realized that a lot of men thought this was how it is supposed to be. I said fuck that and found one of the good ones. There are issues on both sides and we need to get shit down. The big difference, nobody gives a shit about the men's side.

May have been pulled out of your ass but it is good advice. Tone down on the partying a bit if you are. Find on campus resources to help. Hydrate, eat healthy, hit the gym, and get enough sleep. Go to the library and focus on one equation at a time. Don't overwhelm yourself.

Depends. If you have a degree and a decent job in certain areas you have the advantage. Women generally don't date people who make less than them. In certain geographic locations you would have no issues.

Well it depends on the school. If you find a affordable community college and get some IT certificates for example you can do really well. If you get a trade skill and become a plumber for example you can make a significant amount of money. You can easily show them that if you go to certain private schools and get an art degree you are screwed. It will be harder to argue going to a community college and getting certificates in a growing field is not a good idea. I wouldn't say that you won't suc…

It depends, I live outside of DC and I make good money but being a sole earner isn't ideal. My wife works but she is a school teacher on a 194 day contract. The day care we go to is awesome and every time I pick him up he is having a ton of fun playing with the other kids. Also, a lot of women have to go to work because they can't afford to stay home. Just keep that in mind.

Bro, you need to leave. I am not judging you for talking about a seriously relationship at your age. I got married at 23 and first starting dating my wife when I was 18. We have been married for five years and it is going great. That being said, my wife has never pulled that shit. I always just flip the situation around. If you don't think she is cool with that shit then why should you. Roll the fuck out.

Haha, yeah. It isn't easy, I see a lot of my buddies who are treated like shit and still think they have all the privilege. For the Alpha Male, things are great. A lot fewer of us and we can still accomplish are goals. I feel bad for college educated women who want a real man because there aren't a whole lot of them left.

I agree bro, my wife recently said that she wanted a bigger house. We could afford it but it would make money really tight. I just finished my MBA and going for my PMP so I can make more money. I asked her if she plans on looking for a higher paying job. She said no because she loves her job so basically said I have to make more money if we want a bigger place. I told her that we aren't upgrading if she isn't willing to find a job that makes more money too because that's BS. Shes totally agreed,…

I agree, my wife and I wasted so much money going out to eat. I got sick of it and we just started doing days where we wouldn't spend money. Now that it is a habit we just don't spend money on shit unless we have too. We have saved a good amount just focusing on being frugal.

This is the kind of shit that pisses me off. They keep talking over the cop and interrupting him. These people are fucking bullies and they have become everything they hate. That is why people can't take them seriously. They act like children and can't have a respectable debate.

I believe the person accused of the crime should have their name kept confidential until they are charge. Even if this kid didn't kill himself and was found innocent his reputation would be ruined.

The way I see it is a educated man is more willing to marry an uneducated women. Women are less willing to marry a man who is less educated and earn less. So they call independent but it is more class oriented. Which is funny because when men say they won't marry someone who makes less than them they often get shit for it.

Eh didn't really bother me. She didn't insult the guy just said they grew up in different ways and she should keep trying. Healthy debate is always a good thing. In many forums this guy would be made to look like the devil.

I agree it was a small sample size so you can't really state anything on a large scale. I do respect the women for standing up and not backing down. I wonder if she didn't say anything if the other guy would have gotten involved.

He may have been a bit too nice but I'm fine with it. His goal is not to convince her because she can't be convinced. The goal is to convince the people who are reading it. He asked for a citation and the conversation ended with her staying that men have to convince her they are not rapist. Many rational people saw her just attack him and call him horrible things because he wanted a citation.

The mods at men's rights are pretty chill. When people say stuff that doesn't relate they will get called out but not banned. I have seen stuff on the feminist threat that I agree with but if people try to do disagree they often get banned. Some people only want to hear others who agree with them. Don't sweat it.

The last sentence says it all. She's gonna get sick of him. 4th date this month. If she is increasing the amount of dates she goes on and decreasing the amount she's with you then at some point she is rejecting you. When does she slip date night in for them. Sometime in between her banging Paulo and three other dudes.

I agree to a point. If I as a husband told my wife I expected her to stay home then yes. If I make enough money and wife just says fuck it and decides to be a house wife I don't think she should get much. Enough to get her on her feet and start her life again is fair.

This is more for people in general. A lot of people don't realize how good they have it until they lose it. I consider myself lucky. My wife works and we split the responsibilities so we both understand how difficult things can be so we do a good job at cutting each other slack. Its amazing how so many people work their ass off just to have their spouse tell them they are meeting their needs but they aren't looking to get a job so you can cut back on your hours and be.
