I third this comment. If anything reading this subreddit helped me normalize the whole thing... Still not a great feeling but at least you are not the only one going through it. I am 9 months in and it is still up and down, but the average is day is moving up.

That is so hard. Look at the end of the day she is doing this for herself, not for the kids. My ex is the same way- my opinion it already makes you the better parent. Believe it and act accordingly.
