What the hell?

I think it's fairly natural to have a green eye for people that have what you want. Nonetheless, you should learn how to use this emotion for your benefit. If you want to be successful, you have to put work in and maybe using an emotion such as jealousy to feed your motivation isn't such a bad thing. The emotion itself is not a problem, it is the the reaction that you must solve. Rather than allowing youself to wallow in their shadow, let your envy drive you to better yourself.

Sounds like she wants to fuck you. Was she particularly unattractive? I've met a handful of ugly females who drool over their attractive friends' ability to pull higher SMV men. Regardless, just take it as it is. If anything, she will create more social proof in your favor when your girl asks about you (which she undoubtedly will, women are hiveminded with their gossip).

I've deleted all social media and found some success in being off the grid. While I was on it though, I'd say liking photos does nothing. Some Instagram bitches have hundreds and thousands of orbiting followers on call for physical validation, don't be that guy.

That just sounds more of a problem of the word choice than the actual description. The point is that the term Nice Guy is being used to label the behavior of a man using prototypically nice actions with the expectation of receiving sexual female attention, resulting in anger or contempt when it is not received. You could call them anything you want, but the behavior still exists (and is a competely valid human behavior from what society incorrectly teaches men through third wave feminism and med…

Acknowledging that it is different and answering the question to how categorizing the methodologies of social behavior is dehumanising groups of people are two different things, though. The Nice Guy term was made to describe a completely human behavior, however shameful it may be.

You're right. It's incredibly hypocritical when feminist claim that categorizing women is dehumanising. But does using archetypes actually dehumanise people? I mean, everyone on this sub seems to be obsessed with each side dehumanising eachother. To use categories to describe is as old as Aristotle. We use categories to describe the motives and methods people use to carry out their motives. If the "Nice Guy" hat fits its wearer, then what's the problem in describing them as such? Conversely, if …

I think it's safe to practice discipline in all shapes of life, but I don't think this is a new concept. If just participating on a website makes you overly fanatical in your actual day-to-day life, then it is probably smart for you to leave. That being said, there are still new things to be said from time to time, especially in other areas of the manosphere. Not much here is pushed as dogma anyways, and having an open ear and mind is important for intellectual growth.

To understand the idea, you first must know the core values of male SMV, which are nearly all attainable by training those skills. Social skills, building muscle, status (for most via career). By understanding early and training these areas, by your mid 30s, one could be masterful in them and considered damn sexy. As men age you can see that their SMV tends to level off during their 20’s with a gradual rise up to age 30. This represents men’s slow build SMV as they become more valuable by metric…

You are again putting words in this poster's mouth. He never said anything about women being subhuman, and never said anything anything about hate. He said it is easy to have a negative view of women when you go on a forum that is a man's venting space. You're really not looking at any of the actual ideas and letting meanie internet words upset you.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/15 10:41 PM
1

To be honest, I think you are taking his comment too far. It is just stating that women are just women. And women in the social sphere are defined by their attractiveness. Not anything special. I really don't understand how that is "shitting on women", rather to me it is just a utilitarian view of the social world, which TRP mainly is.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/15 10:24 PM
3

But in the same vein, TRP argues that men are non-unique and non-special. It is a core part of the view. The idea is to make men stop overvaluing women to save them from being society's cuckold. I get where youre coming from. The wording and tone is like a men's club, just what it is. A lot of TRP is for men to have a space to actually vent. Learning the ideas is more important than the words, but it is not going to appeal to women, that's not the point.

Controlling your own actions to influence others is not an uncommon method in relationships. I've been in a fair amount of relationships where, in having an SO upset at me for whatever reason, will go out with an orbiter to dinner (or some date-like activity). And specifically tell me. Women use the same tactic against men in relationships, whether consciously or not (i.e. Orbiter 1 asks SO to pay for her dinner all the time, it just so happens she becomes available when she is upset at her part…

You missed the word subtly. Complimenting the diner waitress on her hair, chatting up the bartender, smalltalking with your SO's friends at a party. Obviously there are degrees to dread game, but the point is to not do something that you would lose a relationship over.

it's not a contradiction at all Asking for respect so she can be okay with something she just said was disrespectful? I don't know how you don't see the contradiction. In an LTR/marriage, being able to open up and feel comfortable doing so I agreed with you, just commenting on the fact that the man should not be in search of her problems. He is not her orbiter scratching post or girlfriend. but I'm a crazy woman what do I know I'm glad you admit defeat.

Is it completely impossible that this topic is important to her? To be honest, the reason you can tell the problem is manufactured is in the ambiguity (fairly common female tactic to derive more attention is to create ambiguous relationship problems "Do you care about me?" "What are we, really?" "You aren't loving me enough".) See her responses when he actually probes. “It’s not that it’s just one joke and I am mad, they all sum up and give this effect, which you usually ignore, maybe If I would…

The core of dread game is not about playing "hard to get". It is only useful in LTRs (when someone would be past "hard to get" anyways, considering they are already gotten), when your attention has or is losing value, by subtly applying it elsewhere as a reminder that your attention can just as easily be someone else's and not hers.

You seem to be missing the point. OP here has already been doing these things. He is, in fact, overly attentive, apologizing when unnecessary, and allowing his partner to make mountains out of molehills. I'll address each of your points individually. Stop making jokes around her value and self worth. This is a pretty common issue for most women, so just train yourself out of it completely. I apologized First mistake. You didn't even feel like you had done anything wrong, and you gave her more leverage to treat you like you did. Only apologize when you feel like you have actually done something worth apologizing for. I texted her just when she left You really shouldn't leave arguments open to text messages. There's literally nothing about abundance mentality that includes lying. It is a mindset. When you don't actually have abundance, you frame yourself as if you do; there is no trickery involved.

When people hate on you, it's because you've got something they want. Or however it goes. But the point is that if you are being hated rather than ignored, you have some sort of value over them.

Honestly, TRP is not an ethics class. It is just a tool from objective understanding. What you do with it is your own prerogative. If you feel like banging someone's SO is wrong, then don't do it. There are plenty situations where doing so just lowers your SMV anyways. Opening doors is a common courtesy in plenty places in the US, especially the South. You aren't going to lose frame by holding a door for someone. Plates are just a fancy word for sexual noncommittal relationships, you aren't obje…

We all go through stretches where we don't have abundance. That's the key of the second word of the phrase. Mentality doesn't always equate to what you actually have. Think of it being a mindset that you frame yourself in regardless of circumstance. The main idea is that when you are in abundance of something, you desire it less. When you desire it less, you give it less attention. When applied towards the opposite sex, you are giving less of something that they desire from you, thus increasing …

While I think he's a fairly alpha symbol (particularly amazing at agreeing and amplifying). I think he should stay very far away from politics. I don't really agree with many of his policies. He's not an MRA or anything so I don't really see him being president having any affect on the TRP community. Politicians just eventually have to mirror the public opinion to be elected anyways.

I had the same problem. Exercise, strength training in particular, raises your testosterone levels. I'm not sure if you've noticed but your libido will be accelerated (especially right after lifting). A lot of the time if you want to be fully committed to your monk mode, you have to bite the bullet and fight through it. To be honest with you, I broke and had to fuck some sub-HB6 chicks every now and then.

Your frame is wrong in the first place. Don't ask her to go anywhere. "I'm going to get frozen yogurt later, you should join me." Always escalate. Don't be afraid to be forward. Beating around the bush only puts you closer to the dozens of other guys doing the same thing to the same chick. She isn't saying anything out of the ordinary, you just aren't setting the pace. It is your male prerogative to initiate.

You sold yourself as a nice guy beta buck to a 19 year old that wants to sleep around. Left for a week and she already convinced herself she wants a man, not a high school relationship. You did everything wrong. Why give her presents, time, attention when all you got out of it was a makeout sesh? Why submit to being her mother's bitch? How physically excited you get after kissing some chick has to do with how valued you have her in your mind. You can't just say that there's some mystical pheromone force that turns you off after making out with a HB8+. I get what your saying, but it's only ever happened in a case where I've been less physically attracted for whatever reason (body type, bad kisser, bad breath, etc.)
/r/TheRedPill02/12/15 08:06 PM

I give chicks the three strike rule. I will give them three opportunities to either make time for me or be available. After three strikes of excuses, give a hard next. Don't waste your time after that unless she comes to your door naked begging for your dick.

After I've found out what makes her tick, I'll tell it to her. Flat out. I love this. I've found a lot of success in a similar idea but instead of being overtly blunt with my definition of their archetype, I make them answer it themselves. RP isn't a cult or a lifestyle. It's just a set of observations about how human beings mate. Yeah, they imply you should probably talk to girls and lift weights, but when you're not doing that, you do what you do. Write novels. Play video games. Take nature photographs. Grow a garden. Whatever. For one, you should never seem overly available to women (or anyone, really) when you aren't getting anything in return for it. Passion for your own success is great as you control the show, but being overly passionate about people who don't reciprocate the same to you is a major weakness.
/r/askTRP28/11/15 09:56 AM

If you are actually having sex every time you see her, I don't really see a problem. In that case, it could be possible that she just uses cuddling as a euphemism for sex. Are you more distraught over the fact that she doesn't reciprocate your sexting or is it that you aren't actually fucking her?

I wouldn't bundle the whole thing into one full message, but the idea is correct. When you take her out it should just be you and her anyways so you're also correct on not inviting her to a boys' night. Re-introduce yourself and ask her out somewhere, you don't have to be so bluntly forward.

You're actually already one step ahead. Only text for logistics. Where, when, how, go. There's almost 0 point in "texting game" from my experience. The more you constantly text a female about every little event on a daily basis, youre just another inch closer to being on the gravitational path of orbitry. Don't be afraid to be to forward. Be upfront and show your intent with women, you'll be surprised how well it works.

Really, the only way you can get better at something is to do it. If you want to be more outgoing then go talk. Approach people you wouldn't normally and have a conversation about something. Then do it again. And again. It might also help to get a part time job in retail or service industries. It will force you to become outgoing to do your job, and it will leech into your lifestyle.

Being intimate doesn't necessarily mean that you cannot be stoic about it. That's why sex is so great, you are not just fulfilling your libido, but also having an intimate moment with someone, guiding another to climax. If it wasn't for the emotion to do so, we would only use sex for purely biological means. Know that the definition of intimacy to a man is not exactly the same as one to a woman. There are many good things to be taken out of many religions if you focus on what you can get out of it to improve your life. As long as your philosophy accepts the understanding of the actuals in life with comprehension to how they work, I don't think RP would clash with it. Whatever you find peace with. Obviously everyone has their own taste and geographical differences might affect ratings That's the problem with using subjective scales like this in reference. You are making mountains out of molehills from text messages. You shouldnt have to validate your relationship by constantly being in contact through text messages in the first place.
