Yes. Hit the gym. Work on yourself in every way. Maybe get a therapist if you don’t have friends to talk to. Join groups. Church is good. The gym is one of the most important things.

I’m going through a similar situation myself. The kids lose out when a mother hates the father more than she loves her children.

Hide your assets as much as possible. Maybe a trust. See if you can file first and use the silver bullet technique to take custody of the kids. The courts tend to believe the one who reports first. Women are never held accountable for false claims why should guys.

Hit the gym. Eat good. Get ripped and find yourself a girl. Make sure you are hanging out and talking with friends. My friends 100% helped me out and without the overwhelming support I would not be happy right now. I lost my kids and house and my divorce is just barely starting.

Marriage counseling. Make sure to ramp up the communication. Spice up the relationship. Find a hobby. Start lifting and get into really good shape… she may just get jealous and work to get you back. If you are too busy, try sneaking in a vacation.

I actually agree with this. I wish I had done this myself. Not sure why the negative checks on this comment.

Will not marry again. Didn’t want to in the first place but made the choice to trust instead of listening to my gut.

Pre-menapause also changes woman’s personality. They can become totally different people from the change in hormones…. Especially if they pack on some weight and have chronic injuries as a result.

Can you clue us in on what they may have done? What state are you in? The system is geared so much to the women, they probably think they are correct as they are allowed to do stuff like this without any accountability at all.

Please explain the process!! Sounds like you did something nobody is able to do. What was different?

I’m 48 and getting more ripped everyday. I was so busy with the kids prior to her taking off with them, it was easy to now use my new founded free time at the gym, walking or training boxing/thai/jiujitsu. Eating much healthier too.

so.... the fact that you are asking this tells me perhaps that your new relationship is not all that serious. If that is the case, what is wrong with playing the field... just make sure to not get sucked back in. To me this sounds like you really got the upper hand for the moment,

Didn’t read the whole story, but for the most part… I don’t agree with a divorce simply because you aren’t happy. Create your own happiness by finding a hobby etc.

The only thing I have done was say things. No doubt she is hurt right now and using the kids to get back at me. I believe she is going through something or perhaps having a nervous breakdown. She was not like this when we met and no signs of such behavior up until a few years ago.

we previously lived in the same house. Slept in different beds. She wouldn't let me help her, rub her back or feet. Was a jerk about touching her half the time. The thought of trying to build a family with another woman sounds like a burden. Just to name a few similarities. Now we are going through a separation and I'm not sure if we will work it out (I want to, not sure about her). I asked my wife to go to counseling with me, but everything is my fault so I should go myself. When I would offer …

That's where I am confused then. How do I know that I am separated at this time? We technically live in the same home but I am currently only able to go home on preset days of the week while everything gets hashed out. I didn't agree to separation and so far no divorce has been filed (to my knowledge).

What is the 1 year waiting period to file for divorce? I didn't know that you had to wait a year and be separated in order to file for divorce.

I had/have a situation very similar. I read through some of the advice and would totally try some of the ideas if my wife would let me. I would suggest trying to work out the marriage for many reasons. Including the kid religious (if applicable), financially and the fact that your marriage didn’t work the first time… maybe the problem is you. Don’t take offense, but maybe check to see if you are into men. She may not consider that cheating.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
