The way I see it we are all first and foremost enslaved by our own minds. Putting effort into freeing ourselves from the chains of our own mind is the greatest and toughest challenge we face. And the most beneficial to others... Besides that, in contact with others, the only thing I can think if that can break down entrenched ideologies are QUESTIONS. Asking questions is the best way I know of to rock the ideological boat of others. Those who get angry about questions are lost, as far as I can s…

I'd say we need to stop falling for the old divide and rule trick. Men are not the enemy of women. Women are not the enemy of men. But authoritarian elites set women against men telling them they have been oppressed, when in reality they have always been sheltered... Women get mad because of that illusionary oppression and start screaming. Men feel wrongly accused and scream back. Power elite is happy.

One day the world will be civilized enough to understand that 33.000 human beings were murdered. In just one year.

Let's not forget that the true victims when men are murdered are women. It's like when your donkey dies... Edit: /s God almighty!

Yes. If we could bring male victim numbers down to the level of female victim numbers the world would be a significantly better place.

I'm not Mexican... Anyway, I posted the same in menslib and it got removed immediately. I asked why, they said no mens issue. I asked if they read the whole thing. They said I can post about the number of Male homicides without complaining that women get help. I said I didn't complain, in fact I wrote the violence against women is unacceptable. Got muted. Now they are warning me to stop using the term gynocentrism... can't make this up. I think I found the sentence they fear like the devil fears…

I am FASCINATED by the fact that usually the articles about violence are completely separated. Either they are about the emergency around violence against women, or about violence in general. Didn't find one that put 2 and 2 together...

Let me try to present your view as good as I can: Conception is not the beginning of life with a unique DNA making the unborn child the most vulnerable member of the human family, but rather birth. Being outside or inside the body is what turns a fetus without any rights to protection into a child that enjoys rights. The same child that had no rights inside the belly now suddenly has rights because it finds itself in a slightly different place. Since the fetus has no rights it is completely depe…

I don't care what they call it. They can call it the teletubbyriarchy for all I care. What matters isn't the name, but the effect. And well, this system we have, whatever the name, is disproportionately disadvantaging men in real tangible ways... Fuck the patriarchy that privileges women! Hey hey, ho ho, the patriarchy and female privilege have got to go!!

Who else should be made responsible for her shoving trash into her body to ripp someone off? I don't understand... The dude just shouldn't have had sex!

While I agree with you, talking about the matriarchy has never gotten me anywhere. Most people are not even ready to think about it. Therefore I seriously consider joining the fight against the patriarchy. You know, the patriarchy that forces men to keep society going, take responsibility for others, provide, subsidize women through taxation, punishes and removes fathers, accepts male genital mutilation etc. Maybe it's time to turn this franchise around, since feminists have already largly been …

You can implement any rule you like :) Your way out of the dilemma you find yourself in is pretending that taking responsibility in the case of the mother includes abortion. This is, of course, ridiculous. Imagine your daughter has a puppy. She got that puppy through her free choices and you went along with it. Suddenly she realizes that the whole having a pet thing involves quite a lot of work. She kills the puppy. Now you ask her: 'What happened to the puppy?' She answers: 'I took responsibili…

Is it? My point, from the start, was that IF abortion is legal then obviously the father must have some kind of say. If he doesn't have any influence on whether or not the child will be born, then obviously he can't be made responsible. Giving men the responsibility for the unilateral decisions of women is problematic on different levels. First, it means that men are basically slaves. Second, it rests on the sexist view that women can't be held responsible for their own free choices.
/r/MensRights10/11/19 11:22 PM

The DNA of the mothers body is unique. So is the DNA of the body of the unborn child. It is a mixture of the DNA of mother and father, hence, logically, it isn't the mothers body, but another body that she through her actions invited into hers. It is the body of the most vulnerable human being imaginable.

The moment the father willingly has sex, he agrees to be responsible for what happens. You can't roll back time and change your mind. You can't pick and choose which results you'll accept the consequences of. It's all or none. If you want to act like an adult, then you need to act like an adult. In that case you are against abortion, right? Just exchange 'father' with 'mother'. Or do you think women are NOT adults? Bilateral abortion is a physical impossibility, and therefor, a legal impossibili…

As someone commented: if it's a gift, then it is the responsibility of the one accepting the gift. I think that is hard to argue against. If I give you a seed of a tree as a gift and then you go on to rent some land, plant the seed and then want to make me pay the rent, that would be obviously ridiculous. I was thinking about just the example you used with the egg in the sanitary towel... Imagine the outrage! Instead of being made responsible for the resulting child, the mother would sue the fat…

So you disagree that if a woman gets pregnant against the will of the father she should have to take complete responsibility for the resulting child? In the framework of legal unilateral abortion? Because that, inspite of your efforts, is the point I made...

Right. I have no problem with voluntary association of any kind. People can and should come together instead of being some kind of Rambo parody. But organizing, fortunately, doesn't necessarily imply accepting coercion and the loss of individual rights.
/r/MensRights07/11/19 04:39 PM
1

True. I have been thinking about this a lot. Women have an inherent interest in collectivism while men have an interest in individual rights and freedom. When I started to see the left as the female aspect of politics, and the right as the male aspect, suddenly things made sense. When I say 'left' I mean big government and central control, when I say 'right' I mean small government and individual rights. Unfortunately large parts of the so called 'right' are just as collectivist as the 'left'. T…

I didn't argue against bodily autonomy of anyone, but since so many people took it that way I will have to consider I wasnt being clear enough. If you're consenting to sex, you're consenting to the consequences I take it you use the same argument against abortion?
/r/MensRights07/11/19 10:11 AM

If you read my original post again I am sure you will see that I wasn't arguing against bodily autonomy. At all.
/r/MensRights07/11/19 10:01 AM

I agree completely. Women shouldn't be forced to terminate a pregnancy. But if they choose to keep it without the consent of the father to having a child, the mother must take full responsibility. Only in the framework of legal unilateral abortion, of course.
/r/MensRights07/11/19 09:57 AM
4

It seems like the problem is that people don't read... I don't argue for taking bodily autonomy away from anyone. On the contrary. I'm arguing that in the framework of legal UNILATERAL abortion, mens consent to the pregnancy is required and if it is not given the mother has to take all responsibility for the resulting child. How this isn't clear in my original post is beyond me...

Feminism is the exact opposite of every true ethical or even spiritual practice: It is the deification of the ego. If I had to put feminism into one sentence it would be this: 'Without exception, everything that I dislike about my life is someone else's fault.' That is literally what capitalism creates. No it isn't. Capitalism has single handedly broken the feudal two class system of masters and serfs and created the middle class. Yes the state is working now more for corps than for people, but the state is the only force powerful enough to combat the corporations. Never going to happen. The state was invented to keep the people poor and under control in the service of the ruling elite. That's what the state does. You can't turn a submarine into a scho…

The state doesn't serve the people. Never has, never will. The idea of the state as the defender of the people against corporate power is ridiculous. It serves precisely those corporations you want under control. It is their weapon. Corporations can't force people to do anything, the state can. And it does, according to the will of those corporations. I'm all for not vilifying people for their race, sex or orientation. If that is what you want we are on the same page. I just have no illusions about the state being of any help in that regard. On the contrary. The state (controlled by a power elite) benefits from divide and rule strategies. The state always presents a supposed enemy, be it men, heterosexuals, whites, 'capitalists' or whatever. The state needs problems and culprits to justify it's ever growing control of the population.

Dating will never be equal. Here's why: Dating for a woman is equivalent to walking through a 'Free dick store'. There's good dick, bad dick, provider dick, sucker dick, fun dick, dangerous dick etc. ALL FREE! Dating for men is equivalent to walking through a 'Expensive pussy store'. There's all kind of pussy, but most prices are out of hand, they come with a very bad contract - and you might get scammed.
/r/MensRights18/10/19 09:48 AM

It's tough... the contract between the sexes has been thrown over board. Finding a suitable partner today is very difficult, especially since women are incentivized to change the provider every couple of years. But all isn't lost. There are good women out there. But if you search for them you will not find them. If you keep searching for yourself, though, she may just show up. After a long period of patience.

I beg to differ. It is not a myth. Of course there are matriarchal and patriarchal structures. They are very different. The traditional patriarchy was characterized by the Male bloodline, private property and individual rights. The matriarchies of old had the mother controlling the resources and a female bloodline. Polygamy, tribal family structures etc. Today, of course, the great mother has long taken control of the once patriarchal state apparatus and won't stop until she controls all resourc…

Imagine that you want to participate in a bread baking competition. All you need is a little flour from your neighbor, which they happily give to you. You do the work of creating the sourdough starter, then measuring, mixing, kneading, proofing, scoring, and baking. When you win the competition, your neighbor is furious you want him to pay for the whole gig. That's how ridiculous you sound when you say men need to pay for the free decisions of women.

This game works in both directions: 'Imagine you have all the dough and put it in the oven to bake a bread and when it's done the oven wants half of the bread! Men have the key to life, women are just the door.' Equally insane view.

I seriously think feminists see logic and reason as attacks by the patriarchy that need to be censored.

If thinking that men oppress women through the patriarchy in a rape culture isn't a conspiracy theory then I don't know what is...

If you identify as a victim 'privilege' cannot be used to describe your advantages. In that case you want to use the term 'positive discrimination'. Personally I'm waiting for the term 'neutral discrimination' to describe gender equality.

Prenptial mal help sometimes. If we want marriage to survive as an institution, and, after all, it is the most effective way to create a child-father bond that is so desperately needed, we will have to consider changing it in such a way that everything that is usually decided during the divorce (finances, children etc.) Is decided BEFOREHAND. 'Do you want to marry x under the condition that should the marriage end you will get shared child custody and the agreed upon division of goods and financ…

'I have been sitting on fatspreaders for the last month and I have never felt more free and comfortable. How I snapped and started sitting on fat people to have the space and comfort I deserve. Let's just face it, fat people have been robbing MY private space for far too long. To get my freedom back I started sitting on top of them. And you should too. Screw their fat imperialism!'

Oh, if that was what bothered you, here we go: I don't care at all how many children others have. It's just a joke, and not even a good one. What it does, though, is point out that the whole 'manspreading' bullshit is blaming men for something that has minimal impact on others which makes it ridiculous and oppressive.

What is really interesting about this, and very telling, is that she didn't stop at making a chair that forces men to sit in a certain way, which would have been bad enough, but she went on and made another one for women that forces them to sit exactly the way she criticizes men for. The level of self awareness is breathtaking.

This reminds me of a joke: A woman with 7 children is on a crowded bus. She feels like the man beside her is using up too much space and tells him: 'Stop the man-spreading, can't you keep your legs together? The bus is packed!' The man looks at her, looks at her children and answers: 'The reason there isn't any room left on this bus is that YOU can't keep your legs together, not me!'

Would he be a victim 'banging' an older man? If so, why? Saying it's wrong isn't quite as good an explanation as you seem to think...

How about your 13yo son 'banging' a grown up man who groomed him? That's certainly fine right, as long as he does the 'banging'?

Women can't consent to sex when under the influence. Why would they be responsible for driving under the influence? She is obviously the victim here. /s
