The discomfort sits in the subconcious likely coming from some physical issue in the body. If youve never felt it its hard to know, its like a fish in water. You don't notice your internal organs much until something is off. And well, it can be deadly. The doctor may "call it as he sees it" but nature is often more complicated than that. And e can't currently measure everything ever. Assigned gender at birth is simply trying to be politically safe. You could also frame it as externql birth sex v…

I feel like reddit is universally being super silly about this. Generalization isn't inherently bad especially if you make it clear its your impression. It just gives a rough estimate of a pattern. Humans typically have 2 arms and 2 legs is an accurate generalization. What they're really after is inaccurate, biogoted, sweeping, mischaracterizing, absolute generalizations and essentializations.

As a gender confused autistic person this is 100% true. I've tried to be empathetic towards them for so long but its never extended back im sick of it they can cry me a river

Right?? That's exactly what happens! In other contexts it can be considered rude, yet here its aok. Is this so hard for people to grasp? And I don't think it can be chunked up just to politeness/sparing feelings. Thats not all where it comes from. It often has a rude undertone to it. Theres people who genuinely make it their world view or even lie to themselves. Theres contexts where its said anonymously where nobody would mind hearing them say what they actually think yet it still ends that way…

I may be underestimating this because again I grew up in the transition but this might be the case yeah... Hell Even just seeing what the red pill was like when I was younger vs now, I almost find it unrecognizable? It's so intensified.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 11:02 AM

I feel like there's a lot more baggage and context I'm not going to be able to unpack here

Maybe that makes sense? They do treat it that way asif it's just a slight little privilege but I think it's something very basic to most people like the desire for friends. I think romantic and sexual needs for connection are different from platonic ones. Even if you fulfil all the others, for some that means something on that hierarchy of needs is being left empty. Others seem to be fine without it. I think this is similar to how some people feel lets say, the need to raise a kid but other s do…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 10:41 AM

I mostly agree. But we typically talk asif the struggles are generally the same and give really bad advice. People won't really place themselves into the other genders struggles in general, they tend to see it from their own perspective.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 10:28 AM

There's been a pattern of guys saying ''females'' instead of ''women'' in a dehumanizing way similar to people who say ''blacks''. That's why it's associated with that connotation. ''Rapist'' isn't misogynistic or gendered, it's an entirely different issue? And well, if that's really the case and there's not something more, she's not being reasonable there because a rapist would be a bad person for..Anyone really, yes, women more so, but still. Plenty of people are unreasonable.

Sometimes I'd say it's even worse, plenty of times the guy is shamed and accused of being immoral, even though a woman with a similar complaint wouldn't have had such a response. I think that's an important point I forgot to mention.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 10:21 AM

I do, because I care about women (and bigotry in general). There are plenty of scenarios in which personal responsibility is rather irrelevant. There's a nuance here often completely ignored, and they conveniently ignore the side that they don't want to hear.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 10:11 AM

Yeah people not liking women and misogyny is a pretty common reason for people to be in such spaces I'm aware
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 10:10 AM

As someone who grew up in a period seeing this shift happen from an old to a new internet..That's a fair point? I do think it's a factor. Though the dedicated ''chambers'' would have likely existed anyway, either that or just wild west free for all spaces. They simply weren't being pushed away from a majority like now. Sometimes pushed away for justifiable reasons, other times not so much.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 10:08 AM

But what if you communicate with a different ''operating system'' of sorts? There's a difference between let's say, a human with opposite traits, and a different creature. This sits somewhere in between. In people with autism like me, there's a phenomenon called the double empathy gap. Typically the people with a similar neurodivergency will get eachother but not the neurotypical. The autistic person is expected to adapt to the neurotypical, but not the other way around. This causes the autistic…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 09:44 AM

What do you mean by ''social decay''? I believe it's a lot less frustrating to accept a certain bad thing and try to work around it than have this constant contradicting messaging and lack of acknowledgement. Yes, the issue would still be there. But it's not like people would rub salt in the wound.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 09:37 AM

I feel like this argument often shuts people down. People are able to give acknowledgement in lots of things, and not say contradictory things, and may even show some sympathy. Yet when it's CERTAIN topics, suddenly that is all thrown out of the window, and they need to just shut the fuck up. People can then get through that if there's some kind of injustice by an agent (so let's say, racism) but given that this is just nature, somehow people aren't allowed to complain about it. And people aren'…

I guess that makes sense from the perspective of a redpiller? Taking back control after realizing what they did wrong? Obviously I disagree with a lot of what they say though. And I dunno..A lot of these guys are insecure from the start and realize they have issues to begin with? One problem I have is that these ''issues'' rarely have to do with whether you are a good or matching person or not. They have to do with attraction and social status, plus it gives some kind of illusion all of it is in…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 09:28 AM

Its because theres variables and things you can't predict right now. Even immume systems are shown to influence attraction. Thats also probably why red pillers come to super weird reductive conslusions.

This is exactly what people who speak a native language tell second/foreign language learners. Why? Because the way they learned it was an unconcious process. They internalized those patterns through thousands and thousands of hours of hearing them in context, and got some help from childrens media or corrections from parents to speed it up. But at the end of the day It just "happened ". They just know a sentence feels "off" not why its wront or right. But, a foreign language learner may actuall…

I think you niaunderstand me I was doing a play on words. You said "I hate being a male man". As there is no comma in between male and man ( e.g. I hate being a male, man) it sounds like you're saying a male (adjective) man (noun) as opposed to a female man. I assume you meant that "man" at the end to mean it as an interjection/marker like "yeah, man" instead so I made a joke.

I dunno, female men have to deal with things that come with having a uterus and stuff... (Sorry I couldn't resist)

Its kinda hard for me to tell in the Netherlands? Geminism, Sexism and gender roles are definitely significant here but I can't tell you how.. its at least less extreme than in the us. There is some american influence here that has all the frustrations I have that come with it but this isn't the norm. Its odd on one hand it isn't talked about much and its a quite feminist place (despite the recent right wing influence). On the other hand we kinda like to act like we're really progressive and the…

Capes and cloaks should be brought back. Also what about hats that aren't caps or beanies. Men can't even wear a fedora or trilby anymore without ridicule let alone another, smh

I don't even think my post is about masculinity vs femininity. Its about hypocricy surrounding how feminism claims to help with mens assigned gender role and sexism, poblems, and their lived experiences with a male body in society. These gender roles and prejudices ARE in opposition with eachother, because they root in trying to complement differing emphasis on traits in order to achieve psrticular things. Thats not to say they don't differ in expectation per age group or that 1 role doesn't als…

I think that makes a great point. There's actually this problem where people only see 2 possibilities. Either a man is feminine, or a man is masculine. In my experience, there's a lot of cases where a man is basically considered emasculated, but not feminine. You can see this a lot among geeks/nerds and autistic men actually. They'll show behaviors and interests men typically have, but they do not at all live up to masculinitys expectations. Meanwhile, if the man actually does have feminjne trai…

It is not true. Look at the popularity of escaoist harem stories and the like in anime/light novels/visual novels for an escapist example for nerdy guys into anime. Meanwhile, when theres actual good story of romance within some non romqnce story I typically see men interested. Men don't like romance stories because they are typically either catered to womens escapist fantasies in ways that would never make sense to appeal to a straight man, or just poorly written even if more serious. Women are…

Great you say this. It has been the biggest revelation. Its a silver bullet. A weakness they aren't even aware of. It fully proves they give 0 shits about men. I'm in an eu country where circumsition is barely done. I am not religious. It was done to me for "medical" purposes, yet at the young age I had it phimosis is barely even possible as theres so many years for it to grow (it starts closed off by default), and there are other options. In europe, they often go for a style that takes off almo…

Okay so I have a sort of..hypothesis here. Its a guess. There was this period on tumblr when it was hip to say you had some kinda mental disorder, such as DID, which is incredibly rare. To the point there was one person admitting to not being trans and responding they were "too cute to be cis". This crowd and the larger "woke" crowd its been a part of seems to have had its influence, and I have seen an influx of these tumblr (now moved to twitter) esque online american left/progressive/liberal (…

Men are supposed to help themselves and sacrifice themselves to expendable/dangerous degrees, they are seen as more capable. They are default but nothing until proven otherwise. They are seen as being active, having the agency and power. Women are something by default, they have value simply by being women. They may have that something revoked, and can't stray too far from that something. Women are seen as being passive, being the subordinate victims to protect, like a dog or child. They are see…

They are mostly superficial requirments that don't relate to good personality, a close personal connection or compatibility. Hence you get a "stable boring option" vs "attractive option" dichotomy of which most people settle for a balance.

Rant: Appearantly they should, People should just forget that they have emotions and pain from the unfairness, they should just respond to hardships like robots, because it might mildly upset people who had better cards dealt. Meanwhile people in better positions doing worse things are held up to less scrutiny. The longer I live the more I realize that the idea that people are so empathetic and moral is faulty, it's usually superficial. They those things are when it comes to their own experience…

As a trans person, I have never met a woman so far in my real life that understands those things or any of the struggle of male dating, but I have sure seen many invalidate or complain about men.

I've consistently had instances of people of all demographics, including older and younger women, family acquaintances or friends, offline or online (one of the latter was Japanese for Christ sake so even someone from an entirely different culture in a different language), basically tell me I'd be a catch for when women want to settle down but probably not interesting for younger girls. So basically I'm the stable but much less attractive last resort atm and baby raising (not making) machine. So…

This useless, meaningless toxic positivity, gaslighting and fuck even victim blaming of those kindsa subs and even just the mainstream in general is what pushed me into some really unhealthy spaces back in the day. The irony is that it fuels the toxic type of ideoligies the clame to hate. And as silly as this sub can be (which is why it's fun to read) at least it's better than nothing. Plus I dunno I'm just drawn to more controversial things rathet than milk toast safe stuff, it gives me more to…

The irrationally negative way they respond to evolutionary psychology just because someone they hate poorly uses it to justify their beliefs while being completely okay with the exsct same thing applied to other animals still puzzles me to this day. I mean newsflash, people are animals. Who would have thought.
