"Getting better" means you no longer have an excuse for your terrible behavior. It can come in handy in social situations for a short time, until people just get tired of your shit. I can also tell you from experience that the police and the court system don't give two shits about it when they get involved. These days Im medication free and able to maintain myself. Being by myself and staying busy 90% of my days at work also help quite a bit. It's still a bit of a struggle though.

She was an event coordinator at a major hotel in my city. She'd occasionally have to move tables and chairs and get things ready for certain functions. All of her activities were okayed by her doctor beforehand. Had she not been able to do her job, she could have and would have stayed home. Can confirm, at least in Arkansas. Recently went to a custody hearing with a friend. Her cheating on him had no bearing on custody. The only thing it did was make sure he was able to get joint custody instead of nothing, which is what his now ex-wife was shooting for.
