I’m saying the ad could’ve switched it’s narrative to standing up for short men instead of making fun of them

I think it’s fine that they made the joke, since she wasn’t actually calling the guy short, but instead of the at and t lady saying “you’re very tall” (basically lying to him and saying tall = better) she should’ve just said “who cares if you’re shorter than her” or something along those lines.

I think it’s beneficial to raise awareness for men’s issues so having an international day for it helps people to learn more about what men struggle with

I think it’s fine for shared homes to be selective with only women allowed as long as other shared homes can say only men allowed. It’s like sharing a locker room basically. Some people may only be comfortable sharing it with men while others may only be comfortable sharing the place with women. It’s fine as long as there’s no double standard.

Do you guys have any links to studies of this? It would be nice to have some evidence to back up claims whenever people would say men cause like 90% of rapes

It’s dumb because a lot of feminists are like we support equality for everyone and then you bring up men’s issues and they’re like shut up we have it worse. Like I’m all for women’s rights and even if they only focus on women’s rights I still think that’s a good thing. We need people to hyper focus on issues for any progress to be made, so if some people only focus on women’s issues that’s okay. Same if people only focus on men’s issues. Just don’t act like feminism is for issues of all people w…

Honestly, I think it would be a good idea to have a regular gym, then have a women only gym and then a men only gym. That way women can work out the way they want without having to worry about creepy dudes at the gym and guys can work out the way they want to as well.

Yeah Roma is awesome. And this is what I mean with generalized statements. Saying women don’t like Roma implies that all women hate someone who talks about men’s rights. There are definitely some women out there who don’t like Roma, but I would like to believe that a good majority of women would support what Roma is doing.

Thanks. I just think a lot of the worlds problems would be solved it we would try to assume the best in people instead of assuming they have bad intentions. Environmentalwar4627 may have assumed that the original poster thinks all women are out to ruin men’s lives, while the original poster may have thought that environmentalwar4627 doesn’t care about men’s issues. I think they both agree that some women ruining men’s lives with false rape accusations is horrible. I think they would also agree t…

I think it’s just a major misunderstanding. They’re assuming that you’re a feminist who just wants to argue about why they’re wrong, but in reality, you were just offended by someone making an offensive statement about a demographic that you’re apart of. Just like I get offended when some women use the phrase kill all men. I don’t think the top commenter believes that every single woman is out to destroy men. This whole conversation could’ve been avoided if instead of saying “women like saying b…

I see what you’re saying. It’s the same reason we hate the phrase kill all men. All men aren’t rapists and people shouldn’t say stuff like that. Same with all women aren’t trying to falsely accuse men. And we shouldn’t lump women who are innocent into that category. We just need to take each case on a case by case basis. No blanket statements like believe all victims or women always are lying.

Sorry to hear that man. It sucks and I hope that society understands that rape is rape no matter the gender
/r/MensRights14/10/21 03:10 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
