yup. Woman I used to go to school with BACK IN THE DAY, haven't talked to her in almost 25 years, outta nowhere I get a message request from her, I'm thinkin she wants to wrap me up in a pyramid scheme "oh hey, you should buy these wraps/jewelry/etc", nope. "OMG how've you been, it's been forever, I always liked you, you were so nice." Then comes the sob story, I was a heroin addict, I got clean, I have 5 kids with different dudes and I'm basically homeless, I wanna give my kids a nice holiday b…

Sometimes they will tell you. A lot of candidates will use it as a bargaining chip, "i have offiers from ABC company and XYZ company lined up as well but I'm very interested in working here." Plus, depending on the industry, the HR people can be good friends. One place I used to work, all the hiring folks knew each other and we'd go out for drinks all the time, networking at it's finest.

I'm not saying I wouldn't hire them, but it's something that I would definitely think about. It could mean they are horrible to get along with, it might mean they have problems dealing with office politics, it might mean they fall apart when given deadlines, it could mean any number of things or nothing at all. Just another thing I would look at in my selection is all. And no worries, my skin is thick af

I can confirm this. As someone who has been in charge of hiring for several companies (both public and private sector), if someone appears to be amazing on paper but has no other job offers it makes me wonder "what is wrong with this person, why doesn't anyone want to hire him," as opposed to 10 companies lined up chomping at the bit to get someone on their staff, it means they have something, even if I can't see what it is yet.

I hate all the doctors around here man. I live in a town where a lot of doctors were busted for prescribing steroids to the cops around here for years so everyone is terrified of HRT now. I have a TON of low T symptoms, I talked to my doctor about it, explained all the trouble I was having in the gym, how I didn't have any energy, how I'm not depressed but just feel blah, how I can get and maintain erections but I'm not super interested in sex half the time, and asked if I could be tested. Tests…

I agree with this. This is how I feel the sub breakdown should be: 50% Nutrition/Fitness. You need to polish and refine your most valuable resource, yourself. Until you do this everything will be built on a shaky foundation. 25% Being a fucking man! Life skills, doing manly shit, handling your business like a goddamn boss. Getting a passion and getting into it, networking with people who share the same hobbies and interests as you, etc. 20% Personal Finance. (hell you might clump this into "Bein…

I don't feel bad about it at all. She knew the score, if she disregarded everything I said and is into it like this, that's her problem. If I lied to her and told her that I intended to wife her up and then she felt this way, yea that was mybad, but this is her fault 100%.

I'm not looking for an LTR though. I have no interest in one at this point in my life. I understand the whole comfort test aspect, but she knew I wasn't in it for an LTR and she knew that we weren't exclusive, while this may meet some requirements for a comfort test, I consider this a shit test. If I tell you we are not exclusive, that we are not in a relationship, and then you pull this, I put that square in the realm of shit test. This is a very valid point. If you take a look at a "normal" married couple I'd say easily 4/5 follow this template: Guy: Decent looking, he's OK at best, not fit, but not fat, basically "dad bod". He will have a decent job, he brings home enough to keep the family comfortable and probably has good benefits to ensure the families safety and security. Girl: Now a HB6-, you can tell that at one point in time, she was probably pretty good looking but has let herself go. She may try to hide it with …

Right? One of my plates is in her early 30s, she doesn't look anything like it. Cute, petite, witty, but when we hang out both before and after fucking all she does is talk about work and vacations, and what shes doing with her life, where she's going, and she's demanding to know where we're going, and what is up with "us" and trying to shame me for not being able to spend every day with her. This. Intermittent reinforcement (specifically variable as opposed to fixed) is the strongest type and the best to use when trying to establish repeated patterns of behavior. Imagine Atlantic City or Vegas, all those people throwing away hard earned money into the slot machines, that's all variable ratio intermittent reinforcement. If the machine takes $500 and gives them nothing, they will not keep playing it. If it takes 500, but every once and a while gives them 20, 50, 2, 5, etc, then INCRED…

I can't run great, I know I'll never compete on the level of my friends that are marathon runners. I'm told this constantly by the slobs I come into contact with who are like "you'll never be as big as X or run as far and fast as Y, it's pointless." Actually rewatching it, you are correct. the most "explicit" part is where you see the knife hit her navel area, but for the most part, left pretty much up to your imagination, but I will say this is probably the most explicit on film murder/death he's done if memory serves me correct. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VP5jEAP3K4

Not when they were introduced back in the 70s. They are all white bases now, back when they were first created black lighters were ALL black. Black body with a black base.

But it is never explicitly shown, you know norman is there with a knife, you know he is stabbing her, but you don't see it. You see the pullback of the curtain, you see the knife wielding "psycho", you hear the scream, you see the blood (chocolate syrup) run down the drain, but your brain fills in the the ACTUAL murder.

This is not true, it's an urban legend. It's been "said" to come from Hendrix, Joplin, Morrison, and Cobain. Hendrix & Joplin died in 1970, Morrison in 71, and Cobain in 94. The only one who could have POSSIBLY had a Bic in their possession was Cobain as they weren't invented until 1973. /u/torodinson is correct. It came from being unable to see weed resin on the black bottoms of the black lighters and having it be very visible on the white bottoms of the white lighters. Police would use the vis…

Hendrix & Joplin died in 70, Morrison died in 71, the Bic was invented in 1973, this is an urban legend. It's due to pot resin being viewable on the white bottoms of the white lighters and not visible on the black bottoms of the black lighters. Back when they were first introduced the lighters were either ALL black or ALL white, not colored with a white bottom like they are today.

Honestly, IMO, this has nothing whatsoever to do with a "woman in a male space" it has to do with someone being a space where they don't belong. Don't look at it as female/male, look at is as someone joining an Astronomical Society/Science Club that has no interest or knowledge in the material. Do you want to learn? Awesome, sit there, STFU and absorb. If you have questions, hold them until the end. Do you not want to learn, get the fuck out and don't come back. Imagine this person is a male. Sa…

Really dude? A lot of women will experience massive orgasms like that because you can do stuff with a dildo/vibrator and your arm that are nearly physically impossible to do during actual vaginal sex such as angles, speed, pressure, etc. One of my plates goes numb and nearly passes out when I go down on her, does that mean I should stop seeing her because obviously she's going to become a lesbian because she cums harder with my tongue than actual sex? No complaining "this is too long, I want a short version that takes away from all useful information that I could learn from and just want the outcome" makes someone a bitch. These are the same people in school who refuse to read the text and read the cliffnotes and can't figure out why they aren't "getting it". I love that game. Worse case scenario if she's horrible I just got 3 free beers outta it. Also you can buy her drinks back and it doesn't look like you're just "rolling over" and passing out freebies. They are a reward for her doing something right, and if you feel like buying her one you can lie and say "oh yea I liked that beer, point for you" she doesn't know the difference. Downside, if she buys you a shit beer you have a shit beer.

This right here. I said in the other "red wine" post, I'm a bourbon guy myself. People come over and see my 3 or 4 decanters and rocks glasses, I'm a borderline alcoholic. People come over and see my wine cabinet with 30 bottles, I'm classy. Plus wine is something you're supposed to drink with a nice dinner, it increases the experience so it is way easier to work into a normal date.

That works great! Classic vinyl is a perfect avenue to talk up. You can seem so sophisticated depending on your collection and you can appeal to an incredibly large demographic of people depending on how expansive your collection is. This is brilliant.

This is why I always use it. "I'm not that kind of girl," what kind do you mean? You mean you're not the kinda girl that's sitting on my lap .25" away from fucking? Really? Coulda fooled me, cause i'm pretty sure you are. I've found the best way around that to agree and amplify. There was an RSD Julian video i saw where the "attraction" thing came into it. Precisely! I personally don't care about the content of the post. You could have a long drawn out post that is full of bullshit, it stimulates discussion as it has actual meat behind it and that can help benefit this sub. You could have a 2 sentence long post that might be 100% accurate but if it adds nothing it doesn't function as a good learning tool and doesn't help to drive the sub. Every once and a while you see super short posts that are very helpful and useful but they're the exception.

Every single female I know has tons of these posted all over online of her and her best girlfriends primped and totally done up for these pictures, I don't see these bathroom selfies taking less than 4 or 5 minutes. "Women need to use bathrooms more often and for longer periods of time because: we sit to urinate (urinals effectively double the space in men’s rooms), we menstruate, we are responsible for reproducing the species (which makes us pee more), we continue to have greater responsibility for children (who have to use bathrooms with us), and we breastfeed (frequently in grotty bathroom stalls). Additionally, women tend to wear more binding and cumbersome clothes, whereas men’s clothing provides signi…

I'm in Jersey which has a smoking ban as well but there's a difficult to receive exemption that requires business owners to jump through a million hoops to obtain but it's still doable, you might be able to find some places where you live. Most people are completely unaware of these exemptions too.

To be honest man, most cigar shops have a smoking lounge in them where you can go, have a nice smoke and are BYOB. They aren't huge, most of the shops by me are maybe like 5-10 guys max at one point and time and even then it gets crowded, but still. Not technically a "guy only space" but women cigar smokers are so few and far between here they are effectively a guy only space.

It's being downvoted because some people (new subs i'm sure) are pissed that they aren't getting "No it's super easy here's the XYZ of how to do it." It's a goddamn shame. I used to have a barber shop about 5 minutes from me that went out of it's way to be like an early 1900s barber shop. I do this as well. Long hot shower, good shave with a straight, some real shave cream or soap, some vintage smelling aftershave, usually have Pandora on with the station "Brian Evans" on, everything is 50s era sounding almost Sinatraesqe. That is my meditation, really gets me into a nice place. Grooming is looked at as looking good for others but if you stop and really focus on it, it can do wonders for you internally as well.
