That's because it was sexual assault and not rape. "A judge said there was "no distinction between male and female rape". Except for the legal definition of rape obviously - which would clearly make the judge an imbecile or the reporter a liar. Should the two offenses be punished the same - hell YES!! But let's stop playing word games.

Did you read how a father is subject to up to a year in prison and a €15,000 fine if he gets one without a court order ? And that only around 1500 court orders are granted per year ?

I doubt there would be many fathers, biological or not, that would put themselves before the children. You don't just disown children due to a DNA test. Or I certainly hope not anyway ! I'm pretty sure there must be fathers that either know or suspect , but won't do anything that will potentially harm the child or change the dynamic of the relationship.

I think the biggest problems would be the effect on all the children . Who wants to find out that their mother's a lying, cheating whore that has screwed your father out of all his money and his right to raise his own family ?

Imagine if it happened all over the world, and has done for decades ? If that frightens you look up the statistics in your own countries of Paternity Fraud. There's a reason France banned DNA test to establish paternity.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
