Anxious types (and I‘m myself one) who play the victim probably don‘t look for their own issues with closeness and instead blame everything on their „cold“ partners, saying they make them feel and act like this. What I believe, and I am Anxious, currently working on becoming more and more Secure, is that both, the Avoidant and the Anxious, shouldn‘t weeding out each other from the dating pool.
