For me, it’s not the job or the career that’s the bad thing. What I don’t want to see is a woman who: 1. Makes a big deal out of having access to a job and a career, as if its still 1923 or something. 2. Sincerely believes that men exist to serve them. Too many women who have careers believe in that second part. I hear it at outdoor brunch tables and dinner tables with alarming regularity. Career women tend to be more stuck up and entitled than women who value being a wife and a mother more than…

Having some boring routine doesn’t matter if the woman is into you from the start, and when it’s clear from the start that what’s about to follow is an NSA thing. Your real concern here isn’t the boringness or repetitiveness. The vast majority of humans have repetitive routines and don’t try New Things on the regular. No, your real concern is the complete lack of interest from something like 95% of men in having a woman as a “Best Friend.” The fact that you genuinely want things like sweet talks…

In short, we stop caring what women or people in general think of us and just act how we want and talk how we want. There’s a DGAF vibe that comes from this attitude which actually wins more respect and less gas lighting. The ultimate trajectory is that if we see it through and don’t get distracted (again) by what others think, we end up decreasing our misery and making existence tolerable for ourselves. Our destination is that we become harmless human beings that others can no longer manipulate…

So about the whole social skills thing: I myself am constantly on the look out for indicators of interest (IOI). I’m sensitive to even the slightest sign that a girl I find attractive might like me or want me to approach. I can think of a handful of examples where an IOI might have been there, or it was just something innocent or explainable. I didn’t do anything with those situations, because they were 50-50 calls at most. I think one of two things is going on: The IOI was there, but it was too…

Personal experience, which validated most of what I read on the internet about the Black Pill. Basically, I looksmaxxed to the point where my smart phone categorizes me as two different people in my personal photos section - the one who was overweight and wore eye glasses, and the one who I look like today. Both versions of me got exactly the same amount of attention and notices from women, which is to say, none. I’m just now learning to cope with it in a way that’s not toxic or obnoxious toward…

I’m starting to experience that myself. Here’s some free advice to the women reading this: We only act respectful and professional because: We (falsely) perceive there is something in it for us. Its a means to an end. We dont want you to sic the legal system on us and go to jail Seeing as reason No.1 has been utterly demolished by women themselves over the last 10-20 years, thats leaves reason No.2 as the only reason we are gun shy about approaching and showing interest. The DM sliding will cont…

For me, reading and commenting on posts like this was just a way to: Get ahead of the game by anticipating all possibilities and outcomes, thus saving myself the pain of inevitable disappointment. Rig the game in mens favor by effectively bullying women into either admitting the truth or changing their actions. I can see we’ve had success on that former count. For example, women are finally admitting that a man must be physically attractive for him to be a hook up or relationship material. The i…

Enjoy your upvote then, because that’s the honesty I’ve wanted to see on PPD for a long time now. The guys attacking you for telling the truth haven’t gotten over their self-made delusion that “its only whats on the inside that counts,” which implies that an ugly guy can get a hot chick if his personality is good enough. I’ve come to the conclusion that us guys created that myth ourselves. Besides, most of us have shit personalities anyway.

I think a lot of men lack purpose, and reason for existence. Something I internalized recently is that you can’t let a woman dictate your purpose for you. We as men need to find our own purpose that isn’t subject to the external whims of anyone else. We need something to live for, something grand, something bigger than ourselves. I blame society for the lack of purpose in men more then anything else. Its 2022. We should be hearing stories about how the colonization of Mars is getting close to co…

Yup. A Rightward shift from where I was in my teens. I actually grew up in a conservative, evangelical christian household, and I specifically remember in 2007 when I was 18 how I had no issue with women getting jobs and sleeping around (the sleeping around part was motivated by my perception that I would benefit from it, not because I thought women inherently had the right to do so). I changed my mind and became a social conservative when it became clear that I don’t actually benefit from femin…

Gotchya. Thanks for answering. Its definitely annoying when I have a conversation with a male coworker or colleague, and they bring up something negative about their personal life. I think to myself, “dude, I don’t give a shit, I’ve got my own problems to worry about.” I think that’s where the bitterness comes out in them. I try to police myself in conversations with people by steering away from personal negative stuff. I’ll talk shit all day long about abstract topics, but if I don’t care about…

Question: Does this bitterness radiate off them when you talk to them? Or can you also sense it just from walking by them? Their body language, facial expressions, etc? I’ve often wondered about this. I can usually tell when someone is bitter from talking to them, and sometimes, I can tell a person is angry or upset when I walk by them or see them and their facial expressions. But I’m not sure I could tell if a person is bitter just from walking by them, because the truth is, everyone wears a ma…

You won’t be stuck with someone you don’t want. You’ll just be considered a marginal outcast that refuses to fit in because she’s too selfish to consider anyone needs other then her own (men do this do when they abandon their kids and live a life of hedonism; you both call it “autonomy”). So no, you won’t be forced to marry, and you won’t be forced to have kids. You’ll be encouraged to do so, and the community will go out of their way to find you a spouse. When you still refuse, that’s when you’…

What you’re witnessing is the beginning of the end of an era. Before Modernism, there was the Victorian Era, which was more or less its antithesis. The pendulum will swing back to balance, forming a new set of social rules and conduct. Only from a hyperpartisan Modernist perspective can you say that the comments and threads on PPD are like something out of a “horrifying documentary.” PPD is the collective expression of where most men are at these days. Its not an outlier. Its not for the weirdos…

Nah. Modernism was invented in the 1910s and 1920s. We can decide as a society that it was tried and didn’t work out, and go back to what worked for centuries and kept everyone (including women) happy. But then the “self-expression and autonomy above all else” types would go back to being the alienated outcasts they were, and we can’t have that.

Nah, its a valid comparison. Both healthcare and relationships/intimacy are human and/or emotional needs. Sure, you won’t die without a relationship…but you also won’t die without free healthcare. You’ll just be in a fuck ton of debt. If the attitude of women towards men is “tough shit,” then its really not any less cruel too look at the debt laden survivor of a car accident and be like, “tough shit.”
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 02:55 PM

I unironically agree with that, FWIW. There’s all sorts of shit people feel entitled too just because they exist. Healthcare is one of them.

True, but of all those characteristics you mentioned, I think the one that really turns women off is the one about not socializing, which goes hand in hand with playing video games. The attention and energy that men spend on video games isn’t being expended on them, and they resent that. I spend basically all my free time as a Very Online person, and I have less then zero interest in getting out of my apartment on a Friday or Saturday and socializing. Us men have collectively decided that living…

He’s physically attractive in every way: Handsome, fit, minimum 5’9. Has a Chad face, clearly works out, and wouldn’t be dismissed out of hand due to his height. Personality: Has magnetic charisma. Everyone likes him. Can interact with anyone and own the room. Dresses well. Has great social skills overall. I think money and social status are vastly overrated. If you’re an ugly douchebag like Jeff Bezos, you’ll still get divorced.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/22 10:54 PM

And would you say that if a physically attractive man lacks any romantic or sexual success, its because he has a faulty or even repulsive personality?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/22 05:24 AM
3

That’s a good point. And then they have the gall to complain about being approached randomly. I used to sympathize with women when I would see older, ugly men approach women clearly out of their league, but if those women would rather sic the legal system on them then aggressively confront those men and get them to piss off, or get resentful later when they cave in to a relationship, then my sympathy is lost.

The vast majority of women look average too, which begs the question of why average looking women and average looking men so often end up in Dead Bedroom situations where the wife is unattracted to and resentful of her average looking husband. The theory in pill boards like this one is that its because he isn’t hot enough to make her attracted.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/22 08:48 PM
2

I suppose this might be technically true seeing as women don’t see the vast majority of men as remotely attractive to begin with. And yeah, sure, some of those men are legitimately fat and slovenly, but not the vast majority of them. Bottom line: For your statement to he true, you have to take a horribly negative view of men in general.

Meeting women through social connections implies seduction, which I can confidently say the vast majority of men on this board look down on with disgust. Myself included. Seduction is for charlatans like Cesare Borgia of Italy or a charming villain in a comic book. Its beneath the realm of moral, decent, honest men. Man goes to social setting. Sees woman in social setting. They exchange glances. Smile. Approach. Flirt. More smiling. A bunch of unspoken body language. Some more things happen. Eve…

Implying there’s a problem with being a nonsocial shut in. One of the many nice things about mass civilization is that eventually we reach the point where atomized individuals can be left the hell alone away from indifferent strangers, annoying family members, and shallow friends. Naturally, those atomized individuals seek out other atomized individuals for companionship. This is only threatening to those who insist that humans have some bizarre duty to others to “socialize” and “get out there.”…

Literally my situation. And I don’t even follow the Red Pill. I get her complaint about how lots of men are fat and lazy, but the kind of men you described are in the same boat as the incel gamer types, and its because 6 and 7 women don’t settle for anything less then 8 or 9 men.

I think either Monogamy survives through everyone pairing with their looksmatch and being happy with it (existing culture has the former without the later), or, in the scenario you described in your PPD post two weeks ago about women wanting strong children from one man and love/commitment from another man at the same time, we replace Monogamy with a kind of normalized cuckoldry. A lot of Red Pillers would gawk at the later scenario, but to be honest, if AF/BB was normalized, there wouldn’t be t…

The false premise here is that perspectivism justifies innocence. Sure, from the perspective of women, they legitimately feel that an 8 or a 9 is in her league even if she herself is a 5 or a 6. I’m not gonna deny they feel that, and I’m not gonna accuse them of being deliberately dishonest. But, to use a sports analogy, if a player off the bench feels he’s a superstar, that does not, in fact, make him a superstar. People can argue all they want that “attractiveness can’t be negotiated,” but at …

No. I don’t do any cardio. Its bad for your knees and joints. Lifting weights is a much better way to stay fit and healthy. Besides, I don’t like the kind of people running clubs attract. Eh, I’m not sure that’s the case. The grass is always greener, and sometimes, its better to be alone then to be stuck in a relationship with someone you genuinely resent - whatever the cause of that resentment (unattractive, abusive, etc). Misery is misery.

Thanks. It was a good decision to get healthy even though it didn’t give me what I really wanted. I’ve noticed that now that I’m into the routine of calorie counting every day, its an easy habit to maintain. I’m happy with my weight and my general looks. I just wish attractive women would notice me.

I think you’re missing the point of why they want those women to be stuck alone: Because the implication is that they will be miserable. As we all know, misery loves company, and if women become miserable due to settling for their looksmatch as opposed to being stuck alone, the goal is still achieved.

My breaking point actually occurred over the last year - as in, since the beginning of 2021 through today. Here’s what happened: In the summer of 2020, I started Looksmaxxing. There were events in my personal life that led to me making this decision, and I won’t go into detail what those were. “The Wall” is, admittedly, used to imply that a +30 women literally can’t get a man to date. That’s not quite true, but that doesn’t mean “The Wall” is a myth. It means that, after a certain age, she can’t attract the hot men she used to attract, which forces her to settle for her looksmatch, which women universally resent having to do. They resent having to settle. Thus, its still a loss for them and a vindication for the men that told them so.

Blue Pill: I’m against the idea that “True Love” can possibly form the foundation of marriage or a solid relationship. True Love is a myth and a lie. Red Pill: I’m against most PUA tactics, as they provide cheap cover for an inherent lack of worth that women see right through. Also against the idea that “confidence” and “assertiveness” can make an otherwise unattractive man appealing. FDS: I hate Radical Feminism and consider it worse then Liberal Feminism. Cope. “Well, women would have prioritized looks, but the evil meanie men didn’t allowz us!” Sex wasn’t invented in 1964, and men and women in the West and across the world understood for centuries why gender roles were a thing, and why they were more or less rigidly enforced. Women helped keep female hypergamy in check for the good of society just as much as men.

There are two types of males here: The Prototypical Nice Guys who play by the rules, aren't very charismatic, and tend to expect to get rewarded for their behavior with access to women they find attractive. And the Seducer, who has charisma, doesn't place any value on "good guys vs. bad guys," and loves to look down on men who were suckers for playing by the rules. Seducers didn't create civilization. This is gonna sound like a chickened-out answer, but here’s what I think: Once all the preconditions have been met (she’s pleasant, pretty, and nice, he’s got a handsome face, a hot body, and is charismatic), then I’d say men and women are equally capable of loving the other person for “who they are.” I put that in scare quotes because there’s no such thing as “who you are” being something that makes an otherwise unattractive person attractive to the opposite sex. In other words, the “who you ar…

I’m criticizing them for wanting policies that benefit only them. I can think of plenty of other liberal policies - such as safety regulations and infrastructure spending - that objectively benefits most people. Paid maternity leave and “healthcare” (free birth control pills, abortions, etc) don’t benefit society. Just AWFL’s.

If a man approaches you in the first place - regardless of his place on the 0-10 scale - then he considers himself in your league at a bare minimum, and if you know that you're not a Stacy, then by him approaching you, he's effectively admitting he's not a Chad, which is what all women really want. So then, it makes sense from a woman's perspective to approach a man she is attracted to, because he's the prize, and she's the one who chases upwards (hypergamy) not him.

The people who deny leagues exist and unironically think looksmatching isn't real are the people who have a deep, psychological need to believe that biological determinism doesn't exist - that everyone is a "blank slate" who can be molded into any type of person society desires. The way you know who is in your league is to ascertain who is attracted to you and shows interest in you. Whatever those people look like, that's the league you're in.

"FDS Defender" User flair checks out. The Femcels and PinkPilled types are pretty much the only group of women who "get" why men are so bitter and miserable. It is. Commitment is inherently a losing scenario from a man's perspective because, even if he's a Chad, he's on a lower plane then her, and women, being hypergamous, cannot and will not tolerate that. I don't think its a matter of his woman being attractive or not. I think its a matter of whether she's as enthusiastic about sex as he wants her to be, or not. Men who watch porn do it for one reason, and one reason only: To satiate their sexual needs that they aren't getting from an IRL woman. It's not an "addiction" except insofar as the desire to see a naked, attractive woman is somehow inherently an addiction (which is a distinctly sex-negative, puritanical idea btw).

Yes. And it's not their weight - I've actually gotten more interest from skinny girls then thicc girls - it's their face. The biggest reason I identify as Black Pilled is because I've literally never had a woman whose face I find attractive show romantic or sexual interest in me. I'm able to get the body type I like (which, by the way, is actually on the thicker side). But I value facial attractiveness above all else, and well, I've never liked any of my options.

I feel bad for young men in the 18-24 demographic, especially the ones in college. I'm a 32 year old Millennial, and honestly, I breezed through college (2008-2012) completely ignorant of all these different social dynamics. My peers insist to me that if I actually got involved in the game, I would have noticed that sex was on demand in those days. In other words, it was harder not to get laid then to get laid so long as you went to a party. I always detested the idea of house parties from what …

To be fair, Blue Pillers don't tend to find their way to these kind of threads, as they don't know what "Blue Pill vs. Red Pill" is to begin with, and in any case, they don't explicitly identify as such. It's a bit counterintuitive to be aware of your own ignorance or naivety. That said, the Redpillers basically won the debate. What we see on threads like this is just the fall out. I've noticed more and more Normies are becoming wise to what the RedPill has preached since like 2009. Prophets a d…

You're talking about a specific type of White woman here, not White women in general. What you're referring to is called an AWFL: Affluent White Female Liberal. I've known my fair share of working class, non-college White women, and they are basically decent people who aren't offended by my Right Wing beliefs and values. Affluent, College-Educated White women with liberal values are the Karens we see on television and social media, and they are indeed arguably the worst group of people in the wo…

Nah, they're just a bunch of entitled narcissists who want to be able to get away with being shitty human beings who never need to change anything on the inside. What they want more than anything else is to be "accepted for who they are." Invariably, "who they are" is a selfish POS who gives nothing and expects everything. It's parasitic. Maybe? I definitely have varied interests, and got along with all the different cliques in highschool, but I don't think socializing, or lack thereof, was the cause of my problems. They're mad because they were falsely told "it's what's on the inside that counts," when in fact, nothing on the inside can change what's ugly on the outside. So naturally, they become ugly on the inside. Why do you find Indicators of Interest to be cringe? I think they’re a useful life hack, at least from a guy’s perspective. Yes, I’m aware that a man still needs to close the deal, but once a woman is interested, that’s a lot easier. It sounds to me like you want a guy to go through a prolonged flirtation stage. Social skills may be necessary for dating and relationships, but not for casual sex. You can talk like a grug brain, but as long as you’re attractive, women also looking for casual sex won’t be turned off by it. Most guys on threads like this one are looking for casual sex. Or perhaps women could just behave in a way that causes men to naturally respect them and give them consideration? You’re not born anyone’s equal. Your character and your actions will demonstrate whether you or - or are not - someone’s equal. Respect and consideration is earned, not given.

What women want is universally the same: A physically attractive, high value man. What men want in a woman is for her to desire us and be sexually attracted to us. We compare ourselves to other men because if other men got the exact same chick into bed early and we didn’t, then those men are obviously objectively superior to us, usually in the looks department. Here’s mine: I’ll respond to the claim that men hate hypergamy while engaging in hypergamy themselves. This accusation has a degree of merit. As men, yes, we want to attract and sleep with the hottest woman we can get. And so what if women care about attractiveness as much as men? Because you love to deny that women care about looks or sex as much as men, when clearly, at least when it comes to looks, you do indeed care just as much. Don’t ever judge men for being “shallow” when women are just as physically shallow as men are.

I appreciate your honest answer. What you said here checks out with my own observations of women’s behavior. They like to check men out when no one is looking. Nothing wrong with that at all.

There’s only potential danger when you compliment a man, not actual danger. To assume there will always be danger when you compliment a man, and thus, to stop complimenting men entirely, is to…gasp…generalize. It’d be nice if you used the vibe you get around guys to discriminate between guys who might stalk you and guys who might just have their day made. But instead, its no compliments for any guy, ever. Yes, we internalize that shit and assume we must not be attractive. If women value affectio…

I think a good middle point between college towns, which are full of hot people (which they always have been), and Wal Mart or supermarkets, which are full of average-ugly people, is shopping malls. Those are the places I’m most likely to see a handful of actual Instagram thots walking around, yoga pants and all. I’d say the ratio of average/ugly to hot people at shopping malls is 70:30, which sounds like the norm for any given era. That said, I do think the norm for the top 30% has gone way up …

100% the third philosophy. The first one is bluepilled nonsense built for the whims of an egalitarian era. We aren’t created equal, which means we don’t have equal worth or value. We don’t all have something to bring to the table. The second philosophy has some truth to it, but it also implies a false premise: That effort can “fix” or make up for inherent inequalities, which is not true. To use a sports example, no amount of effort or training will make a naturally slow sprinter as fast as Usain…

Would you now drop certain non-sexual assets in your life (friendships, family, hobbies etc) in order to make room for all that sex? Not exactly. Most of my daily routine wouldn’t change. I’d still get up every day and go to work, I’d still come home and spend almost all my free time on the internet, and I’d still do my regular weekend routine - out to eat for breakfast, groceries, and laundry. What would change, slightly, is my evening plans. I don’t have as high of a sex drive as other men. 2 …

Your so-called “standards” amount to: “Do the things I want you to do, and don’t do the things I don’t want you to do.” Fuck that. I’m an adult. I’ll do what I want and not do what I don’t want whether anyone else likes it or not. I’m summarizing here, but to me, conventional masculinity is a combo of two things: Being a Lover and a Protector. Having interests and hobbies that are stereotypically male, such as watching sports and playing video games. FDS women tend to hate the hobbies and activities that men are into, they resent it when a man takes on the provider role, and they are sex-negative, which means they tend to be grossed out by the physical aspects of sex and instead try to put it on a pedestal like the Evange…

I hope you’re right about that, because in the political circles I run in - not lefty stuff, mind you - they seem ubiquitous. This is a bit simplistic, but the vibe I get from FDS is that its the place where all the RadFems (Radical Feminists) come to bitch about men, and TRP is a combo of PUA’s (pickup artists) who don’t hate women but use them for sex and give tips on how to do it, and genuine actual incels who hate women and bitch about them. You’re not the only guy on the planet who does that - sometimes men and women just click, fall in love, and get married - but if you find yourself wanting to spend more time with every woman you have sex with, then you might be motivated less by feelings of genuine romance and more out of desperation because you’re implicitly trying to “lock her down.” Men with high sexual market value don’t feel any need to lock a woman down because they know there’s always another one, which is kind of what th…

My own identity is honestly mostly wrapped up in politics, so on the rare occasion I find a girl like that in real life, it's a nice bonus, because it gives us both something to talk about for hours. Unless of course she's woke, in which case, good by.

However, we don’t want to discourage otherwise potentially successful men from getting married Correction: "We" don't want to discourage otherwise potentially successful men from hooking up and getting laid. No one of us have a moral obligation to get married or an LTR. Men need to be happy and content with their lives, in whatever form that takes. Marriage is not a one-size-fits-all solution.

Because they aren't satisfied unless everyone else is mimicking their own miserable lifestyle. They want to impose their failed lifestyle on others so that way society feels safer for them. The thing with FDS though is they wish to weaponize those conservative values to leverage the field in their favor, then they have the gal to shame men for trying to leverage the field in our own favor. Agreed on how its better for women - or men, if the case may be - to do the chore themself that way its done to his or her standards. As a man, I wouldn’t expect a woman to do the lawn and then chew her out for missing a patch. I’d do the job myself that way its done right. A lot of men and women who chew their significant other out for not doing a chore properly are probably just too selfish to take time out of their day to do it themselves, and also are selfish enough that they get a kick out …

I’d be okay with doing household chores like cooking and cleaning. I do that shit anyway in my own apartment. What I’d not tolerate is any complaining or bitching about it after I put the work in. Noticing patterns goes both ways. It is true that 90% of all violent crime is committed by men. 13/50 is also a thing. I doubt you're prepared to handle the implications of that. So don't sit here and condemn men as inherently creepy or perverted unless you're prepared to handle the other side of that coin.

No need to change your view. You're 100% correct. It's the attitude those women exude, and it's also the fact that high N-count women are overwhelmingly the attractive ones. We men value looks as much as you ladies do. Inhibited, low N-count women tend to be plain looking, and attractive women with low N-counts either have massive trust issues with men, or they have a psychological problem, which either way makes them undesirable. Like you said though, a high N-count woman isn't marriageable bec…

My attraction for men isn't based on them pursuing me. I like someone long before we start flirting or going on dates. Thank you for admitting this, as it's something I strongly prefer to hear from a woman. I can't stand it when girls treat a guy like he's a commodity for her to consider buying. Come clean with me and just admit whether you are attracted to me or not. Don't drag me along, don't make me wait, and don't make your attraction to me dependent on my mercurial behavior. I'm either attr…

For girls, it's not pathetic at all because they are never virgins for lack of a man being attracted to them. I suppose it's possible for her to stay a virgin because she is repulsed by every man who shows interest, but at some point, women like that tend to give in just to "get it out of the way." Then they go on to do something else with their lives. For guys, I'd say its pathetic by the time you turn 20, especially if you are in college. Really, if you're a virgin after your college freshman …

In my opinion, the average "party girl", has good social skills, many friends and decent looks. Most of these women eventually do get married, even if they have to lower their standards a lot. I really hope your intuition about that is correct, because if it is, then it means they probably aren't marrying men whose looks would have met their previous standards. Of course, there's more than one way a woman can "lower her standards." Maybe she married a guy who is less financially successful than …

You’re trying to justify why a woman who is genuinely attracted to a man would withhold sex from him, and I’m saying that the only rational or moral reason for why a woman who is attracted to a man would withhold sex from him is if she is afraid of getting burned. Of a pump and dump. The pattern she sees in men is that every time she opens her legs early in the relationship, they dump her. Because men are “pigs” who “only want sex.” If what you’re saying is true about women needing time to decid…

Your entire comment is obfuscation and red herrings. Not to mention, it misunderstands what I’m saying. I’ll do my best to break it down. Imagine the following scenario: -You meet a man -You are attracted to that man -You decide that you want a relationship with that man 9 times out of 10 these days, a woman will sleep with that man either on the first date or early in the relationship. She won’t make him wait a long period of time to have sex, either because she strongly wants to have sex with …

On the surface, sounds plausible. In reality, this right here... but that they make guys they might want a relationship with wait ...is usually not the case. Women wouldn't be complaining about how they can't get "commitment" from a man if this was the case. It's not a thing that women only have sex on the first day with men they are strictly casual with, whereas when they are looking for a relationship, they make a man wait. That's not how it works. More often than not, a woman who has sex with…

Alright, I’ll zero in on one particular example: There’s a scene from a stupid movie that I liked growing up: Honey We Shrunk Ourselves. In that scene, Jenny Szalinski, the bratty, bitchy older sister of one of the main characters, dances in the kitchen with Ricky King, a jock with a pretty boy face. The movie clearly established in previous scenes that she was massively attracted to him. During their dance, they smile at each the whole time, her more so than him. He says he thinks she’s “awesom…

My current attraction is to women who are objectively more attractive than me, but who many men would not consider attractive: Chubby girls with pretty faces. Most men would agree that they have nice faces, but because they are generally overweight, they wouldn’t find them attractive. I’ve never chased thin girls, as I don’t find them any more or less attractive than thick girls, and because I perceived - correctly or incorrectly - that all the hot guys were interested in thin girls. So I figure…

Makes sense. Although I will say that some of the average looking guys I know will talk about girls I find attractive as if they are average. In my opinion, their standards are simply too high. There’s something to be said for the theory that men are hypergamous too.

Haven't been on Tinder, but I spent a month on Bumble, and I thought most of the girls on there were at least a 7. Many men would disagree though, so maybe I'm just easy to please, or my standards of what's hot or not are skewed.

The answer is Yes, I would. But, I have a follow up question, one born of ignorance: Is it really true that most girls get hit on by multiple guys? Including the average-looking ones? I always thought it was the Stacys who had a harem of dudes lined up, not the Beckys. As such, I’ve never chased a Stacy before but have chased my share of Beckys. From my vantage point, it doesn’t seem like guys are all over them, but then I’m not walking in their shoes.

I’ve got to admit, this is new knowledge for me. So you’re saying that you avoid looking at attractive men because too many times in the past they’ve tried to hit on you when you weren’t interested in being hit on by literally anyone? Not every hot guy who looks you up and down or walks up to you and tries to flirt wants to finger your asshole. Your attitude is the equivalent of the MRA attitude that “all women will divorce rape you and take your resources.” I suspect you’ve been hurt in the past and are taking defensive measures to prevent that from happening, but just know that if you treat every man you’re attracted to as if he’s a perv, you’ll continue to feel alienated and disillusioned.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 05:53 PM
1

I’ve indeed heard that opinion, and its entirely unreasonable. Does every attractive man you look at try to hit on you or take away your time? Because if not, then you shouldn’t be concerned about checking out a guy who you find attractive. Looking at a guy is not the same as asking him to “come hither,” not unless you do it multiple times in a single setting.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 04:30 PM
1

But you find him attractive. I get why you don’t want some ugly guy perving on you, but why would you want to avoid an attractive man hitting on you or looking at you unless he gave vibes of being a predator?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 04:20 PM

I would find it less upsetting if it was the norm for women to check men out in public, or if I myself was getting checked out on a semi-regular basis by women I find attractive as opposed to never being checked out by those women at all. You can say its unhealthy, but that’s my cross to bear.

Fine. But then they should at least give me my drink when I walk in and not ignore me and continue to clean the counters just because they don’t want me getting the wrong impression. I don’t care in that situation what their personal concerns are. I’m a paying customer. Serve me. The Stacys don’t get that nearly as well as the Beckys do. Also, I’m an American, and a Midwesterner at that, so gratuitous politeness and kindness is in our culture. When I don’t see it, its upsetting.

What I think is that, contrary to what they claim on Reddit, women actually do check out men they find attractive, or give him a passing look. I’ve seen it at malls and on Youtube videos with other men. So, when they don’t check me out, I assume its because they don’t find me attractive. If you are single and not preoccupied with personal problems, why would you not look at a man you find attractive as you walk by him?

Admittedly, there’s an inherent risk. I assume that when a woman doesn’t look at me as she passes me by, that its because she doesn’t find me attractive. But it could just be because she already has a man, or because she didn’t notice me since she was busy or tired. And I technically wouldn’t know either way. That’s the risk. However, based on answers I’ve seen from women on Reddit about what they do when a man they find attractive walks by, a lot of them say that they ignore him or try to prete…

The biggest disagreement I have with men on subs like PPD and TRP is how they equate female nature with “badness.” Take it from an unattractive guy: The 80-20 rule sucks when you want to be noticed. However, this doesn’t make women bad people. The biggest advantage of being an ugly man - or an unattractive man, in any case - is that people generally don’t bother you, and they leave you alone. That’s just it though: They didn’t know until after the fact that the men they chose were a-holes. So yeah, us men are being a bit misleading here. Speaking for myself though, even though I probably would notice girls less if they didn’t wear makeup, I still would prefer them to go easy on wearing it, and ideally not wear it at all, that way…

I see the relationship between culture and beauty standards the same way I do between culture and socioeconomic outcomes. Culture/environment/nurture plays a roll, but most of it is nature. Most of it is inherent. I think beauty is more objective than people want to admit.

Women have no problem staying single if there are no “real men” around. Yes you do. Otherwise you gals wouldn't be bitching about singleness all over the internet. We can here your cry loud and clear. A truly happy single individual would assess the dating market, determine that the options aren't to her liking, shrug her shoulders, and move on. But instead, we get threads like FDS and the old PinkPill where all you do is spew bile and hatred towards men, and all because they aren't behaving the…

Do people deserve to completely express their individuality if it ruins society at large? If society represses individual expression and takes away our rights and freedoms, then what's the point of continuing that society? I don't believe individuals exist to serve society. I think society exists to serve individuals. Man is the measure of all things. Also you will care about the lack of future generations when it economically ruins things for us working people? The only area where I see that be…

I do agree that the traits you listed don't necessarily conflict with Feminism, but I can also see a well-read Feminist pointing out what she would call "problematic" aspects of what you mentioned. Neoliberalism won. Fascism, Communism, Traditionalism, Social Conservatism, and old-school Leftists all lost. Only Modernist Liberalism has the organization and the resources to challenge NeoLiberalism, and both Corporations and the U.S. Government have figured out how to integrate them and neuter them, hence the lamentations of Glenn Greenwald. His takedown was righteous, but it was the cry of a man who knows his version of Leftism is no longer in currency. The age of Men is over. The time of t…

It all depends on the context and the intent. If you saw a bunch of TradCons running around Twitter like they do saying that Feminism should be rolled back and that men and women should be socialized into traditional gender roles, you'd probably feel my urge to shut that crap down. Shame it, bully it, have no tolerance for it. Yes, and backwards cultures like the one I grew up in are backwards in no small part because they have intense gendered expectations for men and women - and they do their best to enforce these expectations not just on their members, but on society as a whole. And the Evangelicals are far from alone in this. It's a holdover from a bygone past where men were expected to act like men, and women expected to act like women. I feel like I'm beating around the bush here, so let me be blunt: The OP is b…

It's common in my part of the world. I grew up in an Evangelical Christian home, and I still have associations with those people through my parents. The expectations they have for men (and women) are oppressive and toxic. Maybe you live in a more tolerant area where Masculine and Feminine standards of behavior aren't socially enforced or upheld. If so, consider yourself lucky. The shit I experienced is still way too common in large swaths of America.

Let people have their expectations and aspirations. If they fail to get it then that's ultimately their problem. I'm fine with people having their personal expectations for the opposite gender...as long as they keep that shit to themselves. In private. Why can't they? What's wrong about that? Because it's the same "standard" as what Incels want: I want sex, therefore, I demand she gives me sex. I want a real man, therefore I demand he acts like a real man. Women should never be expected to give Incels sex, and men should never be expected to act masculine for women. See how this works? I'm not a social constructivist or a gender theorist. Here's how I see it: Men and women do indeed have proclivities to certain types of behavior, and these proclivities are largely based in biology. HOWEVER, what happened over the centuries is that Masculine and Feminine standards were blown way out of proportion relative to how people actually behave and act in the real world. They became a type of ideal to be strived towards as opposed to a natural expression of people's individuality or a ha…

Again, the problem here is you are mixing social functions and public functions. Weak excuse. Social functions directly influence and change public functions, and vice versa. This has ramifications, and one of those ramifications is that "what's good for the goose is good for the gander." In other words, if women demand the…

If you are a rough, rugged, manly man then women will want to fuck you. If you are a feminine dude then you'll have a lot harder time attracting women. I agree, and I wasn't disputing this reality. I was making a normative argument about how we should treat men and women in our day to day interactions with them, both individually and socially. What I'm saying is that men and women shouldn't be held to different standards of behavior just because they are biologically different. Your example refers to what in criminal law is known as Mens Rea (Latin for "intent of the criminal"). You are specifically referring to "actions" as opposed to "state of being." I don’t think its a good or bad thing. It think it just is. What we are witnessing is, IMO, not a socially engineered experiment, but rather a natural expression of where men and women have been moving the last 100 years or so. Those men you described are living in a world that doesn’t revolve around them or belong to them anymore. They’ve been replaced, and they know it. Women are the go-getters now, and social expectations haven’t changed accordingly. So, they drop out and get by on the bare minimum. They only pursue careers if they really like nice things and can’t live without them, or if they are one of the dwindling number of men who place a high priority on marriage and kids.

The fact that man and women are different doesn't mean we should be treated differently, or that different rules and moral standards should apply to different genders. The only way to justify that is through differences in behavior...and guess what, having sex with lots of people is the exact same behavior, regardless of how hard it is. If you are in the top 20% of physically attractive men, women all flock to you anyway, which means you have an abundance of options. Since some of those top 20% of men are players, that means pumping and dumping is inevitable. Excellent post. There’s a lesson in here for both men and women: If you aren’t asking yourself what YOU bring to the table - if you think relationships are all about you and what the other person does for you - then you don’t get to complain about being single, or stuck in a relationship with a selfish person. They make women like you, not want to fuck you. Traits from category 2 are sexually arousing, and excelling in one or more of them is often equally or more appealing to women than perfect looks/money/status. Okay. And what would you say to a man who is not interested in manifesting those personality traits because they are some combination of vain, shallow, boring, too hard, or otherwise not worth pursuing because there are better things to do? This is what I hear when you say all those things: …

My question is, why do you WANT women to settle for people they don’t actually want? Do you actually want to be “settled for?” I'm a month late here, but I want to answer this after I found it from looking at your profile when you asked more recent questions on PPD. You're confused between difference of "not wanting" someone and "settling" for someone. Say there's a woman interested in me. Say I'm better-looking than her. I'd be "settling" for her in the sense that I'd prefer a woman in my own l…

I have a question for you OP: It's one thing to accept that they way things are is the way things are, but it's another thing to embrace it as a good thing. I think most men on this subreddit have accepted the reality that Hookup Culture is here to stay, but that doesn't mean we approve of it or are enthusiastic about it like you seem to be. What is your personal reason for defending Hookup Culture? I think where you're wrong is in assuming there is a black and white choice between #TradLife, wh…

For one thing, did you actually go several weeks between talking to her? Because if you met with her for coffee, then waited that long, then asked to hang out again, it's entirely possible she lost interest. Girls are fickle like that. Alternatively, she could just be intimidated by you, and think you are out of her league. Between her nervousness at the coffee date, and the fact that she keeps checking you out at the gym, there's evidence to support that. You should try your chances one more ti…

Physical traits: I like thick legs, wide hips, porcelain skin, and a soft, fleshy belly. Size 10 and above. Thin girls do tend to have more attractive faces, but in terms of body type, I like chubby girls better. Think the kind of women portrayed by Classical artists in Renaissance paintings, especially the women featured in Peter Paul Rubens’ work. I generally try to treat both men and women the same, since I don’t think either gender is more or less worthy of respect and decency, but like, I’ll hold doors open for women if the situation presents itself. They always say “thank you,” so that makes me feel good. I can’t say there’s anything else I do for women that stands out though. Again, I generally treat people equally

Because unfortunately, those opposed to the RedPill often critique it from a Leftist-Egalitarian perspective that denies objective physical differences between human beings. This compels them to believe that leagues don’t exist, and since they are so obviously wrong, this in turn fuels Redpill rage in a destructive feedback loop.

I’m PurplePill because the RedPill is filled with incel losers who want to impose a totalitarian culture, both on women and on everyone else. They disgust me. But because some of their principles are correct (hypergamy, 80-20 rule, the supreme importance of looks), that’s why I’m PurplePilled and not some egalitarian BluePill normie.

It was some Manosphere dude on Twitter. I think his name was Mike. He was a friend of a twitter troll named “Bronze Age Pervert,” if you know who that is. There is a catch: All his matches were girls from the Phillipines. He probably wouldn’t have gotten 3000 matches from American or European girls. Still though, it was an impressive haul. Interesting. Nice job on putting in the effort and not getting fat. I’m not even going to bother with Tinder or Bumble unless I were to get a hot, lean physique. I was on Bumble for a month once and realized what everyone was talking about with the 80-20 rule.

Let me ask you: Did you ever get a fit, muscular physique? Because based on videos I’ve seen on Youtube, and screenshots of the tinder accounts from liftbros, it seems like a hot physique is the sure-fire way of getting all the casual sex you want. Granted, alot of these dudes were over 6’0, so I’m sure that played a factor, but like, I saw a 5’8 guy get 3000 messages on his tinder, and he was fit AF.

Everything you said here applies to a marriage where the husband asks his wife to cuck him after he initially seduced her and got her to marry him. In that situation, she would leave for a better man because the man she thought she married wasn’t the man he turned out to be. But what if he made it clear that a cuckold relationship is what he wanted from the start? The assumption here is that the man wants to get married to her and spend the rest of his life with her. If he loves her, and if she isn’t sexually attracted to him, then letting her cuck him is a possible solution to keeping the woman he loves around. When I think about it though, you’re right in a way: Say a man and a woman date, he is attracted to her, but she isn’t sexually interested in him. Unrequited love. That could happen, but there was probably something else going on with those guys that caused their wives to leave. Some cucks get into things like “sissification” and are constantly nagging their wives about the lifestyle. It becomes exhausting to her after awhile.

Based on the observed behavior of women in the real world - dead bedrooms, the pareto principle, loveless marriages, etc - I’m going to say the answer is “No.” BUT, there’s a way around this. Dude, I feel you on the validation thing. Having casual sex with hot girls is the ultimate validation of a man’s attractiveness. Still though, I want a relationship where I can have deep conversations with her and open myself up emotionally, and some guys make it sound like thats not possible while also being sexually attractive to women. Maybe it really is either/or (sexual attraction vs. being great friends), but I hope thats not the case

Fair enough. You and I have different needs though. If I’m gonna text a 5 or a 6 like that, I’d much rather ask her if I can go down on her than ask her for a random BJ (which does nothing for me anyway). Accurate or not, its not gonna stop me from being vulnerable in the way the OP described and seeking out deep conversations with the woman I’m interested in. +30, depending on her age. It seems like most college-educated girls have a body count over 20 by the time they graduate. That’s based on anecdotal evidence from what girls have told me, and what I’ve read on Reddit and Quora. A body count in the 20s seems normal. I ignore official studies claiming the “average” is 7 to 11 for that reason. Maybe those numbers are true for non-college girls, but those aren’t whom I’m after. Its also age-dependent. If the man’s goal is to get a relationship, then you maybe right, he can get a relationship with a woman out of his league in terms of looks. But if his goal is to be sexually attractive to women, then, well, that’s just something he is or he isn’t based on his genetics. I don’t agree with Psychology Today about that. If honesty was an impossibility, then the High-Trust cultures unique to the West would have never come to pass. Honesty is possible, its just that there needs to be a culture of higher ethics, which we currently lack in the 21st century

Seems accurate for the general population in the West. I do wonder about college campuses though, and about college-educated people in general. Based on anecdotal evidence and stories, it seems like they are the most promiscuous and have the most sexual partners. Since I’m college-educated myself, that’s who I like to compare myself to.

Can you blame them though? Nobody wants to be tricked or conned by someone who is faking it. I just wish women would be direct about their needs and wants instead of dressing it up in universal sounding language that in fact serves to benefit their interests alone. Like you said, “just be yourself” is codeword for “so I can see for myself if you are alpha or beta.” Direct communication and expression of desires would solve a lot of these problems.

I’m not the most qualified to give advice here, as I’m about as desperate for romantic attention - from a woman I find attractive - as you are, but here’s some help: The self-hate is not going away, so you need to learn to manage it as opposed to vanquishing it. The best way to do that is to learn to never rely emotionally on others. Expect that people will screw you over and find you to be not good enough. It changes as you get older. Remember when we were in highschool, and it was weird if like a junior dated a freshman? To be honest, people on the receiving end of our emotions aren’t obligated to care. They are obligated not to judge us. There’s a difference between belittling a guy because he gets emotional at the movies vs. not going up to him and giving him a hug every time he is sad.

Well said. As men, I don’t believe we are entitled to sex or female affection. But we are entitled to happiness and to not suffering, and in order for that to happen, the cultural standards and expectations around men need to be changed entirely. The bottom 80% of men should not be expected to attract women, shouldn’t be expected to make an effort to attract women, and shouldn’t be looked down on or shamed by others for being single. The problem with your entire post is that you want to normalize standards for males that haven’t been pertinent since 10,000 BC. Here’s what it comes down to: -What is the nature of women?
