That's my fault for thinking you had a better attention span, you're clearly a child. Sorry sorry.

So playing games makes you a simp? You can’t think of anyone that plays video games with a girlfriend? Being a nerd is part of the zeitgeist, pop culture is relevant and you just look like an out of touch dickhead. These sound like insults from high school. Grow the fuck up. Also, this is for sure TECHNICALLY assault but advocating for her to be thrown in jail for that? Actual prison? For how long? A year? 30 days?

Why are you so dense? http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2010/15/schedule/3/part/7/crossheading/singlesex-services Furthermore, it's not ILLEGAL for a muslim woman to go to a 'men's only' barbershop. It's against her religion to do this.

It is true. https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/sorry-but-harvards-crackdown-on-same-sex-clubs-is-perfectly-legal/ https://fairplayforwomen.com/equality-act-2010_womens-rights/#jump6

What the fuck is a men's only barber shop? You're aware that's illegal in every sense right? https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/sorry-but-harvards-crackdown-on-same-sex-clubs-is-perfectly-legal/ Yes I have seen men get their haircut at a salon and women get a haircut at a barbershop. The world is grey, it's not the remote same level of nuance as a support group for rape. Should women who wear hijabs have their own salon? Do you see what I mean by nuance? It's directly against the mulsim doctri…

I asked you if it's the same thing. As unfortunate as it is, many women that are raped can't trust men, don't feel comfortable around them and like you said, it's not a space for you to be in. How is that the same as someone walking into a barbershop to ask for a haircut? That's what I'm asking you. Have you never seen a man cut a woman's hair? Have you never seen the opposite? What kind of antiquated nonsense is this?

That's cool for you but I dyed my hair pink and went to work and it was fine? Anecdotes work both ways.

You think that walking into a woman's support group for rape as a man is the same as walking into a barbershop as a woman to ask for a haircut? What? Also, what do you mean 'it's a space for men?' I thought this sub was all against snowflake bullshit like safe spaces?

You know that you can't segregate a business based on gender right? Are you aware of this? Something that is predominately male is fine, but a woman or man has any right to go to any place and ask for a haircut.

Uh...yeah I would and I have. What the hell is a women's only salon?

How is she a troublemaker? She's been to this barbershop multiple times before and never had a problem.

'There are many good reasons', or maybe he was sexist and maybe he was an asshole? If you read the article linked at the top you'd know she wanted a basic cut. I've had women and men cut my hair, it's really not a big deal when someone gives you basic instructions as to what they want. People are sexist in this world, and I don't really know what else the takeaway is here if a) it's a place she's been to before, b) she's had her hair cut by men at this same place before and c) she asked for some…

So are you just pulling this out of your ass? There's an article linked at the top of this and it says she just asked for something very, very simple and androgynous and the barber said he wouldn't do it because she was a woman. Like, I'm a fan of this sub sometimes, but other times it seems like an easy way to rag on women. If it's about PPD then the integral thing here is equality. So if a woman wants to walk into a barber shop to get a generic male haircut why is this problematic? Why is it P…

I dont think this is a PPD? Why can't someone cut hair? Does her being a woman make the clippers melt?

That’s literally what I said. My point was that saying their paid a % more than men was incorrect.

It is, but it would be tight. That said, again, this is no fault of the women. Its the fault of the public not being interested. I do think it’s wholly fair to ask for an equal cut, but when presented with the numbers, it’s obvious why that doesn’t happen.

Consider the following while you're up on that % high horse. ESPN renewed contracts with the WNBA for 25 million dollars. ESPN renewed contracts with the NBA for 2.66 billion dollars. The WNBA brings in about 60 million dollars (conservatively). The NBA brings in 8 billion dollars (conservatively). The NBA splits about half of its revenue on its players. The WNBA splits 25%~. If the split was like the NBA, the average salary would increase from 77k to 181k. While the players in the NBA receive a…

I thought this was obvious. NBA stars don’t get paid hundreds of millions just because. They sell out arenas, merchandise and the list goes on. The WNBA on the other hand has a hard time filling the seats at a lot of their games. If people don’t tune into or fill the seats at WNBA games then the previous formula falls apart. If the revenue generation was equal then it would be horrible. That’s not the case. I think the WNBA gets paid 40 million from ESPN to broadcast compared to near 3 billion i…

If enough people filled seats at any WNBA game maybe their salary would go up. If not enough people watch you play, then the giants won't shell out for advertising and here we are. This post is horrible and isn't a PPD. OP is trash.

Please tell me how NYC was better in the 90s. I’ve lived here all my life. You sound like a jaded tourist.

Yeah and a multitude of amazing restaurants, parks, bars, amazing museums, architecture, history and countless other things. I suppose a third world country can have rich history like Africa, so maybe you can discount that one but the rest are accurate. You won’t find some of those in really bad neighborhoods but that’s only a small sample size. That’s what makes it better.

Some parts maybe. Third world shit holes don’t have some of the highest rent in the world.

When was a drunk woman ever a legitimate threat to his safety? I mean yeah hit her back, but this whole threat to my life thing rubs me entirely the wrong way.

I’m not sure how you can say that though. If the crime doesn’t excuse the initial retaliation then her getting the shit kicked out of her is inexcusable too. That said, if someone threw boiling water at me, the smartest thing to do would be to kick them back too. Everyone in that instance is wrong, wouldn’t call it a PPD with this new context though.

12 actually. If some dumb bitch kid is over 10 or 11 and decided to keep KICKING me what do you expect me to do? Kindly ask them to stop? What then? Tell the conductor and get police involved? Maybe get up and move would be the most adult thing to do, but in the situation I’d be prone to kicking someone back.

So, men being denied access to a comedy show is similar to Jim Crowe segregation? I don’t care enough about a female only comedy show to make a fuss but I wouldn’t liken it to racial struggles or say that it set anything back by centuries. Bad publicity move on the comics part but the guy suing is just as much of a jackass.

I️ love how they’re claiming she’s being harassed and lets me know exactly where she lives and her name in the first sentence. Makes it extra easy now for some new brigadiers. Oh buzz feed.
