some might by 2-3 years, maybe as much as 5-6 when you get older but a) that’s rare among current 50 year olds b) this woman is 50+, generalizing that women her age claim to be 30 is beyond absurd

one difference is how it is applied: here, this is presumably used to justify women being wary of men and perhaps distrusting. If you (as many comments suggest) replace “men” with “ethnic group” with the purpose being some legislative action like a travel/immigration ban or stricter targeted policing laws, that is a very different situation. that being said, yes this still comes off sexist, and frankly i don’t enjoy being compared to a tick.

not everything has to be; I’m not entertaining your... take on the issue. i’m just expressing disgust at the knowledge some people unironically think this way.

ok but to be more accurate, i think one could say: “each of us exists as a result of a selection process based almost entirely on reproduction” and maybe you could extrapolate that to mean “we are optimized to do that”. do you think that’s a fair statement ? I don’t know what you’re responding to specifically, and i barely know what this sub is, but this post seems to be hinging on a lot of semantics, so i thought i’d ask.

people act as if looks are entirely predetermined too. if you don’t have an actual physical disability (not that that’s bad, just meaning that we should formulate rules around the average) there is probably more than looks keeping you from finding some kind of partner. bitterness, pessimism, your hobbies, antisocial behaviors, education or talent, values, etc etc etc.

i don’t think you’re right. while your theory may be true for some men, i think many men want it relatively low to match their experience. It can be intimidating or unpleasant to be with someone who has undoubtably had better partners than you, or whose experiences are completely opposite to yours. In addition, i would argue that most men wouldn’t mind a 10-25 n count for a woman in her 30s if it was mostly with people she was in an emotional relationship with, with strings attached. when it bec…

i mean without going into TRP terminology and shit, as a normie i gotta say i like having a partner with similar experiences as the ones i’ve had. i can see how it would be intimidating or uncomfortable to be married to someone who fucked half their class in school (hyperbole, but this applies to even a 10-20 discrepancy in body count). In addition, while i think it’s ok and normal to have a 10-20 body count by 30, it’s not that uncommon for someone to have n=50+ by that age, which definitely wo…

to be fair though i’d marry a person this rich kinda no matter what. worst case scenario we divorce and i don’t get any money out of it, but even then you probably make a lot of connections by doing this

lots of opinion there... i wouldn’t cheat and haven’t, but you made such a big deal out of it... regardless, it’s pretty obvious that he lied about having sex with her because he didn’t want to admit to cheating, so that doesn’t help to understand whether he raped her. Also, while i don’t give two shits about kobe (in fact, i’m kind of annoyed at him for dying that day) i don’t think cheating really puts a dent in his reputation or impact on basketball as a sport (i assume)

/r/PussyPassDenied31/01/20 10:02 AM

but at the end of the day, pressuring someone is just a dick move, and very immoral, but it’s not rape. And if she just felt pressured because of who he was and he didn’t actively pressure her, then thats on her. If it was rape, it’s unfortunate that she had no way to prove it, but i’m going to go with presumption of innocence not because i like kobe, but because i would do that with anyone

don’t make it out to be the biggest moral crime in the world. a huge number of men and women cheat, most without ever facing repercussion. you don’t know the full circumstances. even then, him cheating is vastly different from rape. if indeed he lied because he didn’t want to admit to cheating, that doesn’t prove he raped that girl. Yes that was immoral, but stop being holier than thou. I don’t give a fuck about kobe, i don’t watch basketball.

I would argue hook-up culture was alive and well amongst hippies before the 80’s. Among flappers in the 20’s, and in different groups before that. People have been having sex for a while. Obviously, the general progressive trend has exacerbated that culture, and it’s more common than ever, you’re right. With that being said, i think right now the dating scene and culture is all out of wack because female sexual liberation is still very new. Things have a way of balancing out, and new generations…

you silly goose, there's a difference between a procedure that is objectively helpful and leaves no damaging marks on a child and one that will irreversably affect them in a negative way. Vaccination is good, that's the difference.

how is it either of those things? The best argument against it is that it's not necessary or beneficial, and is irreparable damage on a person's body without their consent or knowledge. Or even shorter: it's illegal when it's done to a girl.

“This sub is a total joke now.” “It's become like extremist feminism - insane amounts of mental gymnastics so they can believe their extreme positions.” The sub hasn’t become anything. A small minority of idiots say idiotic things (like you). The vast majority of comments are not extreme. Saying women shouldn’t hit men is not extreme. Women and men on average aren’t a as strong, but with the addition of weapons, every pepper spray/gel, the balance can be tipped. You’re so aggressive and bitter! …

Animals also have much less developed brains and pick their food, habitats and pretty much everything else based on sight and smell. Humans are literally more cognitively developed, we take more factors into accounts for most of those decisions. Yes, we pick mates by filtering them through our preferences in terms of looks, but especially for LTR, more goes into it than looks. Say out of 1000 people, 50 are physically attractive to me, and within those 50, 3 are my kind of personality, and withi…

you dumb bitch no ones saying they’re physically the same. we’re saying in a society where we get equal right and protection regardless of ability or sex, women hitting men should be as frowned upon as the opposite.
/r/MensRights26/12/19 09:12 AM

you completely misunderstood my point. Warriors were disposable as fuck. But they were at least theoretically honorable and valorous, whereas women children and the crippled were not seen that way. In physical aspects they were honored and viewed as superior (say in a household) and in society they were valued as a whole but had little power or status each.

There was both. Masses of the commoner warrior class were manipulated by the aristocratic class. When the ruling class was exposed for what it was, the warriors took over and put other/new aristocrats in their stead

man it’s fascinating the generalizations that are made on this sub, as well as the anecdotal evidence used. On top of that, y’all act like there’s an objective hierarchies of what’s good or desirable and not. There’s more nuance to these issues, and arguing that AWALT or AMALT amounts to some very questionnable conclusions. In practice, as far as I’ve seen/experience living in NY, France, the UK, and the Midwest, fuckboys get easy sex and are easy to have sex with, so they’re kind medium value, …

As a guy, i tend to say that those relationships are very much existant and viable, and are more than a fetish. The reason they’re not mainstream is that the traditional roles are based in biological differences, which this RR goes against (which is fine) so you might end up with a women who is very masculine and a man who is very feminine. In this sense, while indeed their sexes are inversed, you still have a masculine figure dominant over a feminine figure, so it’s not that outlandish. Where t…

well yeah, stoicism has been distorted beyond recognition. Real stoicism is completely different, and probably closer to how buddhist monks live today than any form of masculinity in the west

i don’t know why i read all that but yeah everything you said is really interesting. i think the main problem with masculinity is that it gets mixed up with some weirdly distorted stoicist principle that you must always be an island and impervious to “distractions” in order to perform your functions as a man (provide, excel in some field, keep your honor). while this works for some, it’s insane to expect it of everyone. That being said, you have to also understand why some men get fed up with li…
