Divorce causing physical pain, how to fix it ?Sounds like you’re starting a psychosomatic symptoms. Nothing wrong with antidepressants to help. Shit, I even felt like an extra strength Tylenol helped me sleep at night when it got really bad. Stay away from alcohol though! One step at a time! | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/06/25 04:26 AM
How can I even work anymoreI’m coming out of that too buddy. There is hope. Stress is taxing on your executive functioning so try to take on one project at a time. Be upfront with your boss and let them know you need time to get back to normal. You probably feel ashamed that you can’t produce like you used to, but fuck it, you need time to heal. If you were in a bad car wreck people, then people wouldn’t expect you to perform the same for a while. Wellll, you were in a bad car wreck on the inside. I’m sure work is a big p… | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/05/25 04:56 AM
How do you do it- child support and alimony. We should change the name of the group to “Costco Hotdogs” | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/04/25 02:27 AM
Financially ruined after divorceI feel you bro. Don’t give up and remember it doesn’t take any money to spend time with your kids. I decided to work out more with my daughter (outside) and spend time playing catch/ baseball with my son. Eating like a college student isn’t that bad, just humbling. With time, opportunities will come up and time to plan for your new life will happen. If you’ve started a business, then your mindset is still there. You just gotta get thru this shitty period and focus on yourself. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/03/25 12:30 AM

Struggling with STBXW’s glow-upIt’s great because it makes you shift your focus to you. Be sure to follow the 75 Hard Reddit for motivation. Also, my ex just got a boob job and is about to get her braces off. She went through counseling too so her glow up is from the inside out. I’m happy for her because it will be easier for her to find someone and let me go. As men, we got to remember to care for us first and stay balanced. The rest will come. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/07/24 02:03 AM
Struggling with STBXW’s glow-upTry 75 hard…your situation sucks, but she is probably thriving off knowing you’re circling the drain. You need to take your attention off of her. Keep away from her, quit looking at her social media, and don’t give her attention. Focus all that energy on 75 hard. You got this | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/07/24 11:40 PM

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE WAYS YOU MAINTAIN A STRONG RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR CHILDREN POST-DIVORCE?Hopefully your strong bond started a long time ago. My kids are 10 (boy) and 14 (girl). I moved close by and either take them to school or pick them up. Also try to invite them over to cook or workout with me. Hikes are a plus too. Simple advice…just find things to do with them and use that opportunity to talk. Who, what, when, why, how questions are important and help guide conversations. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/05/24 05:06 PM

California and life time alimonyI’m in California and just separated after 8 years. I know divorce can take a long time. Should I put a rush on the divorce? 😬 | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/04/24 11:55 PM
How do you cope with the lack of affection?Damn…I totally understand that. I just moved out last weekend. I feel lost, but know it was needed. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/04/24 06:40 PM
Hating Being ComfortableI feel like I’m on that path and it sucks. I’m pretty outgoing and have always had a lot of friends. My wife is pretty vanilla and wants me at home all the time. I work two professional jobs and do more than my share around the house. I think I’m also a great dad who makes time for all the kid’s events. Buttt I also like to enjoy my free time living. I would like to do it with her, but she just wants to be home watching TV and sleeping early. It sucks the energy from me, but I know she just want… | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/12/23 06:29 AM
