2	Acne is holding me back. Help on overcoming mental barrier Hey man. When I was 16 through about 18 I struggled with severe acne. I understand where your’re coming from. Because of it, I was extremely depressed, not confident, and not social with anyone, let alone trying to get girls. Most days I’d just stay home because I didn’t like the way I look.
