Is this a serious problem for guys? I'm asking out of curiosity. I've never dated a man for his money, in fact, my current boyfriend (whom I live with) makes just over half of what I do. I've never heard any of my girlfriends talk about their man's money and and success like they're only with them for it. I know gold diggers are real, I just didn't think it was a big enough problem that men have to filter their dating pool.

That was an arbitrary number I threw out, but that might not be the case at all. People who pick up regularly just think that getting laid is the best thing ever, and "it feels so much better without a condom, baby" is ridiculous.
