-1	Will Smith and Performative Violence Ya I’m not defending what he did. I’m just saying that what he did is an understandable thing. I don’t think it’s right to steal, but in some circumstances I can understand it. That doesn’t mean I condone it, it means he is human and fallible like the rest of us. You are arguing to set the standards where they need to be to perform a specific job. Either they are requirements for going into space or they aren't. If they need higher requirements on some to compensate for others, then there should be two different roles. There is a pretty strong history (and even still current practice, though it is getting much better) of excluding females in research studies. It is readily evident in animal studies. If you read the methods, a large majority of the time female animals are excluded and only male animals used.
