It takes like 3 years of lifting to start to actually look like you lift - both with clothes on and off. I've been lifting for 9 years and still chasing the end of the rainbow, but at least, I look like I lift even in a suit or in baggy clothing. And you want to stop lifting after less than a year after starting for some insane, silly idea that you need to be a certain bf%???? Don't be fucking stupid, and just keep lifting. It's normal to make mistakes and to keep learning and refining your meth…

If a dude approached him exactly the way she did, there would be a fight. I've worked as a prison officer and a bouncer, and seen this played out too many times. Of course she didn't do him any damage, but when you aggressively touch someone and shout at them in that way, don't be surprised if you trigger a reflexive response to defend themself.

So you're already making out with her, and actually fingering her too - and you still felt you had to ask her "what should we do next?" Fucking hell. Just lead.

Just noticed your user name. Nice. And totally fucking agree with your post. It's also the same for guys. "I'm funny, have a job and do this and do that. Why can't I get a girl?" Well congratulations on being average and doing what you're supposed to do.

I remember when there was all this outrage on social media because SJW were saying its unfair to judge all Muslim people because the actions of a few. And now it's actually the law to target all men because of the actions of a few.

I think that you think there's a magic pill that makes you want to get after it early in the morning. But the truth is, for everyone who does it routinely, you don't ever really want to do it, you just do it. In the past 3 years of early training sessions before work (work at 5am), I've only was excited to wake up and raring to kill my day like 5 times. The rest were all just moments of just doing it. Just realise that it is okay to have to those feelings of wanting comfort, warmth and more slee…

Didn't I include not contacting or reaching out to her, even if six months passes? The whole point is so that this kid has a time frame to understand. By giving him 6 months, he most likely won't care about this girl in 6 months. You can't just tell someone to stop smoking or quit an addiction cold turkey. You need to give baby steps.

No contact for 6 months. Let the emotional energy discharge in that time. And even then, don't reach out. If she were to somehow come back in your life (cross paths in person, she messages you) then go for it. If this happens before that time, then just ignore her and remain no contact.

Why would there need to be a digital foot print? There are people I have been friends with for 10 years and never had a photo with, or people I've hung out with and never connected with on social media. Do you still have it in your head that you need to parade around your n-count to impress others?

Really good comment here. Being the Mayor is SO applicable to everywhere in life. Like when I worked in sales, I would bring in leads to the sales manager who was interviewing me for a job and then talk to them like I'm a podcast host and interviewing them for my show.

So I bounce and I'll hook up with anywhere from one to three girls in one shift (in my context, hook up means to make out with). And then take home one of those girls or even another. Be honest with yourself, do you feel validated when you make out with a girl and other guys are there to see you be the man? You have nothing to prove and no reason to try and impress other guys so do your shit discreetly. Take her outside, go to the corner, go sit on the lounge, go into the hallway etc Don't spend…

How far gone has the TRP fallen that we need to even discuss supersets? A basic concept in lifting? Next up on TRP, proofread your text before submitting with bonus content on using soap when washing your hands.

You know what? Even though your plan is stupid and is going to fail, go for it. You need to crash and burn in order to grow. I did the same innocent, naive shit like you at 18. Now I'm older and know better. In time, you'll grow with this mistake.

If you find a girl attractive then go do something about it. If you don't find her attractive, then do nothing. So why do you care about a n-count? Does it actually matter? If you're a high SMV man who has his shit in order, what does it matter if the count is 20, 50 or 100?

I work as a bouncer, and the amount of girls acting like they wanna square up, is definitely high enough that it seems to be a societal norm for women to be as strong as men.

Keep situationally aware for threats. But apart from that, why do you care about some random dumb cunt you will never see again?

When you restrain someone and remove them there is a risk that they could think you are trying to fight them so they end up attacking you. Even though you are trying to extract them from a fight for their own safety. So what I do is I grab them and gently pat my hand on their body, much like you would to console or reassure a friend, even though I have them restrained. And at the same time I use a downward inflecting tone trying to make my voice as soothing as possible like a therapist and sayin…

The act of harming another person by striking with or throwing a glass object (glass cup or bottle for example). Injuries tend to be blunt force trauma and lacerations.

I work as a bouncer and had to kick out this guy after I stopped him from glassing some dude. I can't remember why but I didn't choke this guy out or drag him out right there and then. I just told him his night was up and it was time to leave. He kept saying 'don't touch me' when I gently nudged him in the direction I wanted him to go. And I told him I won't touch him if he kept moving. So he would take one step, and stop, only for me to nudge him again. That idiot then kept saying 'don't touch …

I work as a bouncer at a stripclub so I'm used to dealing with rough crowds. I once dated a girl that wanted me to go sort out someone for her, and she was genuinely confused when I laughed and said no. You'd have to be a real shit cunt to go and bash someone you have no personal beef with.

Jocko Willink likes to quote this saying by Miyamoto Musashi - When you know the way, you see it in all things. So the more books you read, the more you see how they relate to each other. Therefore, it is a good idea to have two questions in mind while reading, such as (1) How can I apply this directly to my life? (2) How can I apply this to something not directly related? Thus, if you read a finance book. How can you apply that directly to affect your finances? But also how can you apply that t…

I work as a bouncer and have some fun stories like these. My favourite is the woman who grabbed my hand and put it on her ass and had me rub her booty whilst I was talking to her husband 🤣😅

In my tips I advised OP to write notes on the take aways. So it's something I already do. But I don't do it on every book I read.

I've only been able to achieve it because I've broken my foot and am now on leave from work. Since I'm stuck at home it would be shameful if I didn't use the time to work on myself.

I've already read 12 books this year, so yeah, I have a few strategies for reading. When my eyes glaze over and I get bored, I switch to reading another book. At any given time I am reading 3 to 5 books at a time. Have some fun books to read that you actually enjoy that you could switch to. Another one is to consume other resources and go back to reading your book. For instance, you are reading a novel and get confused. Go and listen to some Youtube videos discussing theories and analysing the b…

I've done security for Westfield, their policy is not to refuse father's from the parent's room. I've responded to calls where a woman has complained about a man being in there, and I went to go investigate, only to tell the woman he has a right to be there. Even for transgender people, not to question them if you see them go into their identified gender's bathroom.

Average person I agree about not needing the mindset so much, but here on TRP, we're all (at least I hope) striving to be better and to learn. I hope someone reads it and it resonates for them beyond just a cursory read.

I bounce at a strip club (predominantly female dancers, but one night a week there are male dancers), and the amount of aggressively sexual glances, passes, touches and comments women make to me is just as worse as how guys interact with the female dancers. Some are nice where it's a simple compliment, to offering me tipping money, to overtly inappropriate advances that would get a man evicted or fired if it was the other way around.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
