Expecting sex in general != expecting effort from your partner lol

Usually I’m blue pill, but realistically if you’re doing in the situations that OP is describing (if it’s real), so in normal dating app scenarios, you don’t being on a dating app. You belong in therapy
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/23 04:07 PM
1

Like other people said- people jn general don’t have a lot of empathy for strangers or “men” as a concept. If this is the impression you get from friends then tell em to stop or get new friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/23 07:01 PM
1

If people around you are like this either get them to improve or stop being friends with them. I know online stuff tends to be extreme but how are people ok with other people like this in their lives. I really don’t believe the average person is like the post describes.

calling people npcs is the epitomy of npc responses
/r/AllPillDebate11/11/23 01:36 AM

he's literally calling people npcs which is the most npc thing ever. what else can i say
/r/AllPillDebate11/11/23 01:35 AM

Funny you call other people NPCs when this is the 8th post in a row that who’s up in my feed from APD that’s the same lol

I haven’t seen evidence for this. Most I found an article saying average male height for gen z is 5’9” How big was the party?
/r/AllPillDebate05/11/23 04:31 PM
1

You American? 6ft percentile is 84 for Americans So 16% of men are 6ft and over. How big was the party?
/r/AllPillDebate04/11/23 10:52 PM

What parties are you going to that most people are above 6’ lol

If blackpoll was (without getting into evopsych shit) just “base instant attraction is mostly based off of genetics + presentation”, nor one would bat an eye. Problem is everything else it’s associated with (hating women, saying base instant attraction is the only think that matters, prescribing looksmatching, saying personality doesn’t matter, etc). Even though these might not be actually part of the black pill it’s generally associated with the community. For me it’s personal lived experience.

Damn almost like different groups of people are different Also r/nothowgirlswork afaik has posts of men explaining how vaginas work…

Yeah, because women need a man with more than a paycheck.
/r/AllPillDebate14/10/23 01:25 AM

/r/AllPillDebate07/10/23 03:43 PM

You fix it by making men less insecure and so that they don’t get validation from how many women they fuck IMO best way for this is to have platonic female friends

I would argue instead that evolution would make them take as many people as possible and kill every man they can. It’s the same reasoning

/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/23 09:08 AM

Did you read what I said?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 04:41 AM

So you’re paying your lawyer a bunch of money, and you’re not willing to have him at least ask for kids? Really points towards not wanting them And most divorces don’t go through lawyers. And men STILL don’t ask for kids. Again, what does that tell you?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 02:58 PM
1

Btw you commented twice lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 02:50 PM
-1

Alimony is 10% of divorces. It’s not a big deal that people think it is. If you don’t even bother to ask for the kids, then yeah sorry you didn’t want them. Like it takes 5 seconds in court. And it solves the child support shit
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 02:50 PM
2

A lot of the time they are true but lack context. Like how 95% of women get custody of kids in court. Like yeah, it’s true, but it’s because men don’t ask for them. If you control for situations where both parents want the kid it’s about what you would want (50-50). There’s also a stat that people around here throw out a lot- that the more partners, the more cheating there is. And there’s 0 context for this. There’s no understanding of why that happens, which should be pretty fucking important. …
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/23 03:00 AM
1

I was asking you that as a philosophical question. Let me ask it more directly: I have a definition for something, and you have a definition for something. How do we resolve this? (I swear I’ll answer your question in due time. But I’m just trying to make a point about definitions)
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/23 01:45 AM

That's your own definition of redpill. My definition of redpill includes the idea that women should be virgins. How do we resolve this?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 11:11 PM

Again, no true scotsman
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 09:14 PM

I mean that’s a no true Scotsman. When everyone in your movement cherishes virgin women and all the redpill content creators talk about low-to-no body count women being the best what does that tell you?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 04:50 PM

Spin plates? So many red pillers say to go for virgin women. I mean what does that tell you?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 04:42 PM

Redpill
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 05:45 AM

Redpoll?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 05:44 AM

Then tbh maybe you do deserve to be alone. Being an empty personality means your SO is probably gonna cheat on you anyways

Not one of the above commenters commenter But yeah obviously but if original commenter meant that he should have said that
/r/AllPillDebate09/09/23 07:17 PM
1

Literally ALL of those can be used to take advantage, especially if you’re going out with the explicit thought of “I’m going to use this to explicitly take advantage of these women” Like if a rich guy went to a poor neighborhood with the explicit intention of hooking up because he knew poor women would try to get with him to try to get out of their misery, and then he’s a POS
/r/AllPillDebate09/09/23 05:30 PM

Because most men are horny motherfuckers?

Fair enough now this sounds consistent to me Terrible but consistent lol
/r/AllPillDebate06/09/23 05:04 PM

Again, you have infinite power, so yeah, you can do this. That’s what I don’t understand.
/r/AllPillDebate06/09/23 04:44 PM
1

You have essentially infinite power you can change OF lol
/r/AllPillDebate06/09/23 06:15 AM
1

Would you answer my first question? And like PH does have stuff like pictures and self-stuff. So if you would advocate banning that kind of content I would understand
/r/AllPillDebate05/09/23 11:39 PM
1

Don’t remember if I asked this- so it would be fine if they accurately described what it is or put up sample photo? And how so? Isn’t it the same thing as the amateur content on PH?
/r/AllPillDebate05/09/23 09:26 PM
1

Ok, I understand that Then why not outlaw all porn too Because that’s the same thing as OF
/r/AllPillDebate05/09/23 07:36 PM
1

You can say the sec work industry is saturated, but then it makes no sense to ban OF when it’s literally the same percentage that you would want there to be prostitutes. Look, I have an issue with your entire system, but I’m taking it at face value because this entire thing is a hypothetical. But your system is illogical. You can’t say that 1-2% of the population being prostitutes is ok but OF isn’t when it’s literally less than 1% of the population being OF creators. It makes no sense.
/r/AllPillDebate05/09/23 04:15 PM
1

wait why are you lumping in promiscuous women as a reason to ban OF?
/r/AllPillDebate05/09/23 02:20 PM
1

That’s literally the same chance it’ll be an OF person lmao
/r/AllPillDebate05/09/23 12:36 PM
1

Are you going to artificially limit the supply of prostitutes?
/r/AllPillDebate05/09/23 05:03 AM
1

Ok, and? Why does the number of people who do it matterv
/r/AllPillDebate04/09/23 08:22 PM
1

Do you not see the contradiction between not being ok with OF because it’s sexwork-lite and wanting to legalize prostitution?
/r/AllPillDebate04/09/23 05:08 PM
2

You literally said ban. Are you changing your position? And how is onlyfans then any different than porn or prostitution? You don’t think men don’t want some random creep to see their girlfriend on a porn site or have their GF getting railed by that guy? Also it’s impossible for most women to do stuff like OF. The demand isn’t that high. If it’s a dealbreaker for a man for their GF to do OF then let it be a dealbreaker
/r/AllPillDebate04/09/23 04:02 PM
1

Most OF iirc have at least somewhat public profiles. All you have to do if you think that is make them post a photo lol And I don’t get what’s wrong if they post stuff with their boyfriends There’s a lot of porn exactly like that too
/r/AllPillDebate04/09/23 12:08 PM
1

Why? Porn and onkyfans are pretty much the same???
/r/AllPillDebate04/09/23 11:03 AM
1

Then they’re both prostitution? Why are you outlawing one version of a thing and not another
/r/AllPillDebate04/09/23 10:05 AM
1

Wait Why make prostitution legal and only fans illegal

No one apart from country governments have gone to the moon. If you can’t see how this hypothetical is ridiculous on its face then, well, L I guess
/r/AllPillDebate11/08/23 01:16 PM
1

Please refer to my original comment where I said “obviously false or troll” Nothing you’ve said makes me think you’re an astronaut, especially since I don’t think they’re gonna be using Reddit. I literally gave you an alternative that I would find believable
/r/AllPillDebate11/08/23 12:06 PM
1

Then that would fall in the obviously troll/false category because it’s incredibly hard to get to the moon. If you told me you saw one through a telescope then that’s a different story.
/r/AllPillDebate11/08/23 11:47 AM
1

But we could also live by positions that aren’t internally contradictory
/r/AllPillDebate11/08/23 11:37 AM
1

Just proved my point lmao You think it’s reasonable, I don’t, it’s not my lived experience, and the stuff I’ve read doesn’t absolve your position. There’s no way to resolve this using your logic.
/r/AllPillDebate10/08/23 07:29 PM
1

I think you’re thinking cultural enclave like those that are in the south, but most people in the Midwest have German/Scandinavian heritage. I guess without further clarification from OP we can’t know
/r/AllPillDebate10/08/23 01:07 PM
1

Heritage sounds like 4th+ gen american Kinda hard to be Influenced by something that far removed
/r/AllPillDebate10/08/23 12:50 PM
1

You can literally say the same thing about all the guy stories on here lmao Either you trust all (except the most obviously false trolls) or none. You can’t only trust stories that confirm your priors and distrust those that don’t
/r/AllPillDebate10/08/23 12:49 PM
1

Did you even read what I said? You can give significantly better advice in the two statements I gave that a) don’t disparage an entire class of sex-likers and b) are far more useful because it’s actually getting specific with the traits you don’t want in a partner
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 12:57 AM
1

I don’t disagree that the research is there. But what did I say that was wrong? Was my relatively nuanced statement wrong? The facts? And I agree not everyone can tell. But again, doing blanket statements is bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 12:51 AM
1

Just ignoring the red flags?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 12:39 AM
1

They could also just enjoy sex a lot The bottom line is that blanket statements are bad. You could instead say “if you know they have a high body count, stay away if you cannot tell if they are mentally ill or abuse substances” Or, an even better statement IMO is stay away from dark triad/substance abusers because they in general are significantly more likely to cheat whether or not they have a high body count But let’s be real most of the time when people on Reddit say “high body count” they me…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 01:30 PM
1

lol then he would have a high n count which is bad
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 12:55 PM
1

Yeah and we typically see that as bad lol
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 12:54 PM
1

Damn so if you find someone with a high body count and no mental illness/substance abuse it’s unlikely that there’s issues?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 12:40 PM
1

Not just for taking BP but find a purpose in your life.
/r/AllPillDebate08/08/23 11:37 PM

Most people did reproduce. It wasn’t only 20% of men reproducing. These are very clear stats
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 11:05 PM

Idk why this is downvoted lmao

Never heard of yellow fever?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 10:56 PM

You can’t control it, and neither can they, no? So how is it not the same
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 10:56 PM

You don’t know that. You have no idea if they are good wives or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 10:55 PM

Lmao imagine thinking 80/20 That makes 0 sense. Otherwise the human race wouldn’t exist today
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 11:10 AM
0

I mean the reverse happens as well Kinda funny tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 08:36 AM
6

That’s like saying why find someone attractive lol
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 08:24 AM
1

On top of that large age gaps tend to lead to breakups/divorce. No reason for men to do large age gaps if they lead to divorce
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 07:01 AM
1

It could be that n>300 count women don’t like men with blue eyes for some fucking reason. In that case it wouldn’t matter if you have brown eyes and date a high n count women. You have no idea unless you find the cause.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 11:56 PM
1

It’s literally the same thing as here Correlation doesn’t imply causation. Until you know the cause you can’t say shit about it. Like if driving had a 50% death rate you have to investigate rhe cause, not say “don’t drive cars” It could be that all of that death was on the highway and not in the city, so city driving was fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 04:45 PM
0

I literally said correlation doesn’t imply causation. And there’s no evidence for this
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 04:42 PM
12

It’s really funny that you’re talking about correlation vs causation but when I bring that up in relation to high n count women I’m told “it doesn’t matter!111!1 high n count women bad!11!”
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/23 08:10 AM
0

I mean it’s probably the same for you too, no? Like have you ever just seen someone and been like Damn It’s the same thing here, as in its random. you can’t make yourself have that “it factor” for all women. Not original commenter and not a woman but this is how it’s been described to me and how my personal experiences have been
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/23 12:32 AM
1

How was I supposed to know before he posted his comment? And you don’t need to be an incel because you are 4’2”
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/23 07:04 AM

Music professor isn’t holding you back IMO Height? Sure. But depression spiral forums aren’t where you should turn for help and support. I would say IRL friends are your best bet.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/23 07:04 AM
1

Women are capable of kindness. thinking they’re not is holding you back
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/23 07:01 AM
3

How so? That you need to return to monkey and be a tradwife?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/23 06:15 AM

Bruh enough with the incel talking points plz
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 07:01 PM
1

No, but it’s correlated with that because going through multiple relationships is one way of figuring out what you like.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 06:38 PM
1

Knowing the cause is extremely important. What if it’s because “whores” always end up divorcing men with blue eyes? The he. The prescription would change. It would no longer be “don’t marry ‘whores’ “. It would be “don’t marry ‘whores’ if you have blue eyes.” Obviously this is a ridiculous example but I’m trying to explain that unless you do various studies to control for variables, one variable controlled doesn’t mean anything. Knowing how to have sex and knowing what you want in a partner make…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 08:17 AM
1

I don’t think you are interpreting the statistics well. Controlling one of the variables doesn’t do anything. Men tend to get skin cancer more. But men also tend to work outside jobs. So without showing that men tend to get skin cancer more than women regardless of other confounding variables, you cannot show causation. (Comment to be continued)
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 11:36 PM
-1

That shows correlation, not causation. That could be entirely driven by the fact virgins don’t know what good sex is. You have no idea what it’s driven by unless causafion is shown
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 11:17 PM
0

Got any evidence?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 06:05 PM
-2

It just means that they expect better. Cheating is sometimes a symptom of a bad relationship. I haven’t seen evidence that women that become promiscuous cheat in their early relationships, so IMO it’s a function of a relationship being unsatisfying but that’s an unqualified opinion lol. Until I see evidence to the contrary, I’m not going to say being promiscuous causes cheating. Correlation != causation
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 09:59 AM
1

And knowing what you want is bad cuz… ?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 12:32 AM
2

I saw some stuff about meth/heroin but didn’t super understand. Never knew any junkes
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/23 12:17 AM
2

Same as current. I try to act the best I can 100% of the time Couple of side notes. My appearance has no affect on my actions, just acts as a “negative” probability of success in my head, mostly to temper expectations. I find very few women attractive enough for me to even be interested (not talking just physically. I like what I like vOv), so I’m not rly into hookup culture or anything like that. Sex to me is smtg I want to do with a life partner, but I only hold that view very personally. Idc …
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 12:24 AM

When will anyone ever look at data instead of anecdotes?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 05:47 PM
1

Well i think the best thing you can try is getting comfortable talking to her about this stuff Yeah, it’s embarrassing, but being able to talk to your friends (no matter the gender) about girls or what’s going on in your life (as long as it’s not her becoming your therapist lol, it’s a balance lol)
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 06:11 PM
1

Talk to your bf then? Alternatively Does ur bf know ur clueless lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 03:11 PM
1

How often do you talk to some of these people? Do you have any indication of their intentions?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/23 10:53 AM
1

I found one article from ny post saying women cheat more that didn’t actually vote research. Do you have evidence to suggest that?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/23 01:56 AM
1

I mean Man cheat more than women- does that count?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 06:02 PM
1

I mean if I play a game a lot it’s very different playing with randos when compared to my friends, and different again with my SO. It’s the same for sex. I agree on you that it’s perhaps a caution sign, but it’s not an outright red flag. Someone might have hooked up a lot in the past and no longer does. Or just did for a while cuz sex is fun. Or did it because they were so desperate to get into a relationship that they tried fucking every guy to try to get them to date em. Some of these are fine…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 02:51 AM
0

Body count doesn’t mean shit imo. I am personally conservative when it comes to sex (I don’t hook up) but I don’t have an issue dating someone who has hooked up a lot. The REAL red flag is a lot of long real relationships (exclusive dating).
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/23 11:18 PM
1

Ah ok. Different comments then.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 08:10 PM
1

If you have evidence for that that would be great. I’ve personally seen far more anti-incel stuff than anti-MGTOW.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 12:55 PM
0

So none, just anecdotes. Ok. I asked for evidence because my experience has been the exact opposite.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 12:47 PM
1

Are you talking about financial leave or yasuo? I was taking about financial leave
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 12:43 PM
1

The existence of some women like this doesn’t mean they are all it generally like this.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 12:40 PM
0

What does that have to do with misogyny in MGTOW?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 04:36 AM
0

Cool read! Thanks Thing is I don’t see this as disproving OC, perhaps altering it though. OC said men are competing against women being alone- perhaps would have been better to say ALSO competing against women being alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 03:42 AM
1

Dating standards were going up before the internet because women were going to school and making more money. Men need more than just a paycheck nowadays
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 03:37 AM
0

I’m guessing a lot of the misogynistic takes they have wouldn’t get on your radar?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 03:30 AM
0

Fully don’t believe that. Pandora’s box has been opened. Now that women can work and have birth control their expectations will forever be higher
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 12:16 AM
1

Evidence for this?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/23 11:38 PM
1

If there wasn’t racism, I would say that, but there is racism, so I can’t trust anyone saying “I don’t like x skin color, but I’m not racist”
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/23 10:45 PM
1

Agree it’s dumb, but would say these are fundamentally different things. Look-based attraction != race based attraction
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/23 02:20 AM
1

Yeah, and I can judge them based off of what people tell me What, if someone says they don’t date x race women, I can’t call em dumb for it? Saying this view you have is reductive
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/23 12:25 AM
1

That’s an incredibly reductive view. I ate snail once, doesn’t mean I’m snail eating minded. Your statement is meaningless. With your logic, doing something means you are something-minded, and since it’s so easy to be something-minded, you’re essentially everything minded.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 05:56 PM
1

Doing something once doesn’t mean you’re sex minded
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 04:33 PM
1

If we didn’t want more we would still be in caves fucking like rabbits There’s more to life than just sex. Oh also, women are far more likely to be ok not being in a relationship than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 04:29 PM
1

We aren’t apes anymore people want more than just sex
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 04:25 PM
1

I counter that this way of seeing relationships will leave you wholly unhappy and jaded
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 02:47 PM
-7

Nothing wrong with a high average
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 02:45 PM

America already had a culture of going to the doctor to give you pills to fix your problem. No one wants to put in the work to actually improve. We wouldn’t have this issue if we did.

Physical health is far easier to remediate than mental health. And you didn’t even really address anything I said, just taking shots at my perceived acceptance of fat acceptance (which is wrong btw)

Sure but that guy had literally no idea what he was talking about, otherwise he should have been more specific.

In the rest of the world I see a couple of strong correlations. I haven’t seen any studies though being poor fat shaming high walkability/exercise culture Last one is highly preferable.

To be clear: government sponsored healthcare would make the problem worse. You need the incentives tied with that (ie taxing sugar, fast food, etc)

nah people were fat before the fat acceptance movement. It's because people aren't taught to take some initiative and have discipline. Combined with the above issues, we're fucked. To be clear I'm not some "pull yourself up by the bootstraps" person. If all of the additives and bullshit in food got removed we'd see a massive change. Also, there's a reason that fat shaming cultures have terrible mental health issues and body issues.

Something to add on top of what others have said: Talk to women normally (ie non romantically). Eventually if you’re good enough friends you can ask them to introduce you to someone.

If you don’t have actual evidence then this is just dumb. There’s no secret plot. I’ve seen this debates and you’re going to pull together disparate quotes and sources to pull together a story, when they would have nothing to do with each other.

I’ve heard it as leading a horse to water colloquially, even though that’s a completely different saying. But I really like “shortstop.” People should be completely fine if there’s not a known solution out there. Because the new status quo is definitely better for women than 60 years ago, so we can definitely improve for men too.
