I like that I made a joke that got Platinum, but only one upvote. Best New Years Ever!

I wouldn’t buy one now. None of them currently sync with VR devices, but that tech is coming. And then you will be too!

People with open relationships should legally be required to refer to themselves as a “few.”

Whoa. Did two people on PPD just share the same thoughts? It’s a New Years Miracle!

I’m just going to assume this is some sort of joke. How could Smoove B. be the “original” PUA when he came AFTER the dad on Fresh Prince of Bell Air? From the way he dimmed the lights and played soul music to nonverbally express his sexual desire for Aunt Viv, to his bald, high testosterone head, everything he did conveyed how to be a true alpha male! Heck, the way he showed dominance involved literally picking up Jazz and then throwing him out of the house! Smoove B had some good lines, but the…

Okay - full disclosure - maybe I’ve let people repost my OC before. But that was a long time ago! It doesn’t mean I’m into it now! Just kidding - go for it! Thanks for asking first!

I had almost the exact opposite experience. I came from a really atheist family, and when I was in college I got married. More than once. But now I’ve realized that’s not who I am. I find weird emotional things like marriage a little degrading (and very painful). Anyway, for the past two years I’ve been having great sex with a woman, and we’re supposed to do anal next month. She’s mentioned that she’s interested in marriage, but I told her that wasn’t my thing. Well, today she ran into a woman a…

Why do you say other men are like you? Can you hear other men’s thoughts? Can you see through their eyes? If another man slips and falls on his nards, why do your own nards not ring out in pain?

Thanks! I really hope it gets better. It’s no longer hard to turn down alcohol, but I always heard those stories from people who say “I quit drinking, and now I’m happier than I’ve ever been!!” And that just hasn’t been my experience. I think life is just kind of hard - not just for me, for a lot of people. The ex in question is out of my life, but I’m working towards trusting people in general. I think it’s getting a little better!

I’m in therapy, so I am attempting to address it. The factors that led to my decision to quit also factor in (ex-girlfriend’s kid called me in the middle of the night because she couldn’t wake up her mom. When I realized just how much my ex was willing to lie to convince people she hadn’t been drunk, it made me hate alcohol and distrust people).

I’ve basically become an incel. I’m not quite sure why, but I have some theories. I think a lot of it might be my age - I’m in my early forties. And while I’m far from poor, I don’t know that I’m rich enough to still be attractive. Also, I quit drinking just over two years ago, which has really hurt my social life. I think I’m also becoming less pleasant to be around, and I’m not sure if that’s the cause of my lack of success with women, the result, or a loop.

This wiki page discusses it a little: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women_in_Nazi_Germany Apparently, a higher percentage of women voters supported the nazi party in 1928, but it had evened out or reversed by 1932.

Women don’t choose men with money because of feminism. Women choose men with money because those guys can provide for children. Feminism actually makes it less likely that a woman will choose strictly based on money, because feminism opened a lot of doors for women to make their own money.

Honestly, I just don’t want to hear about it. It’s like if you go to a restaurant and your date says “I love this place! My ex and I used to come here.” I don’t need to know.

Your post clearly says that she tells him she has had a few casual flings after she already explained that she wasn’t a virgin. Also, isn’t it just a made up story? What is your actual question? You label this as “CMV.” What is your view? Is it that women shouldn’t have to be sensitive to men’s feeling when discussing their previous relationships? Is it that men shouldn’t take a woman’s sexual history into account when deciding to continue dating her? Is it just that people shouldn’t insult each…

Part of that is that women have a shorter fertility window, and also tend to date older. So a woman 25 to 34 is more likely to have had a child with a man outside that range. I believe if you look at lifelong reproduction the numbers are closer I believe 90% of woman have children, vs. 80% of men). However, I believe the men having children with multiple women tend to be the ones with more resources- guys who have a family, get divorced, and then start another family.

Really, it only shows women at their angriest, the same way a lot of MGTOW threads only show us at our angriest. My views on women are a lot different right after a break up, and I think that’s what we are seeing from women as well. Dating is tough.

The same could be said for Becky’s sexual history. Nobody really needs to hear about it. I talk about my past relationships to my therapist, not my girlfriend, because when I’m dating a woman, I don’t want her to feel like she’s just the fling of the week. Me telling a girl I’m with about my exes is only going to make her feel bad. And I don’t want to hear about hers either. I think it’s just polite.

As a guy, I only want to be with someone who is sensitive to my emotional needs, and I think that’s a reasonable request. I think a lot of girls probably feel the same way. It’s like if a guy is out with his girlfriend and the waitress is attractive. The guy is probably going to notice. The guy will certainly be aware of the waitress on some level, and this should not affect his girlfriend at all. However, if the guy says “Damn! Look at the ass on her!” there’s a good chance that that will make …

I think it depends if we are taking his quote literally or not. Obviously if he actually yelled “Begone Thot!” that’s crazy. But if we’re discussing whether it’s okay for guys to not feel comfortable in that sort of relationship, that’s a different story.
