You are not entitled as a pregnant woman to a seat in a packed bus, just like nobody is entitled to anything. Doesn’t mean you shouldn’t expect to be treated with consideration by anyone ever. I want to live in a considerate society. I want to live in a world where a pregnant woman or an 80 year old man can expect to be given a seat in a packed bus given their vulnerability. Doesn’t make them “entitled”.

The whole point of giving a seat is that there aren’t enough available seats. And if the seats a little away are free, you have an even less of a reason not to go sit there and allow the pregnant woman to sit at the front since there is little difference in comfort to you, and a lot for her.
