The majority liability lies with the Museum. Being Drunk would only be a mitigating factor, it would not absolve the Museum of fault. Also the Museum knew of the problem long before this happened and did nothing to correct the problem. This is classic negligence and the Museum(well their Commercial Insurance) will pay for it.

The exact same situation plays out with my wife and I regularly. I have Multiple Sclerosis, and there are times when my body(especially fine motor skills in my hands) does not like to respond the way I want it too. Intention Tremors suck ass. I still like to go out and spend time with her. We still go to the movies, friends, shopping, and everything else that couples do. Spending time together is what is important, not who pumps the gas.

If I walked up behind a woman in front of 800 people and grabbed her ass, squeezed and whispered "Nice" in her ear while she was working I would been spending the night and many more in Jail. I was DJing the University of Alberta's Nurses Graduation 16 years ago when I was sexually assaulted by one of the new graduates. This was witnessed by a lot of people. If the genders were reversed people would have been tripping over themselves to stop it and help me. But instead they laughed. I had a danc…

What does being a man mean to me. It means to be like my Dad. I learned everything about how to be a Real Man from my Dad. To me my Dad has always been what a man is supposed to be to me. He always has and still does put us before himself.

I have never felt looked down on or made to feel less of a man due my depression. Even the feminists I know would never say anything like that. In my experience admitting that I needed help has been met with nothing but open arms and acceptance. No one has ever told me to Man up or anything negative at all. I would hope my experience would be the common one, and stories we read are the rare occurrences.

They do pay more for disability insurance though.

Women do pay more than men for disability insurance. Just as men pay more for life insurance. All comes down to who is more likely to use it more at that age. And everything is on average, it's not hard to find exceptions.

Horrible study just like the wage gap. Men make different choices than women do. And the insurance premiums reflect those choices. In my local jurisdiction gender only matters when a male in under 25. And all the statistics over decade support the fact that young men have more accident than young women. That changes when the man either becomes married/common law or turns 25. After 25 gender makes no difference. Things like occupation do have a strong correlation with accident frequency and costs…

£1000/yr Or £84/month. Which is about $134 Canadian. At 26, depending on the vehicle, urban neighbourhood, decent driving record, short commute. That sounds exactly around what he premium you should be expecting to pay. If you are having problems with that it sounds more like a budgeting problem. Your parents have discounts you just do not qualify for. Multi Vehicle Discount, Multi Policy Discount(for having home and auto bundled), occupation or group discount(like through a union or employer pr…

Sex is not the be and end all of a relationship. Telling some one to leave thier partner over 1 thing in a relationship is foolish and naive. As a man who has gone through this exact problem, I am glad my wife never listened to such garbage columns for advice. She took her vows seriously and stuck with me, turned out it really had nothing to with her at all. It really was all in my head. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis a few years after we were married. If my wife would have followed sim…

How do you know it is? How do you know it is a Lease? And how would I know? Easy I would have asked and it would be recorded on the policy. Names on the registration should match the names the Bill of Sale which should also match the names on the Insurance Card. If husband's name in on the registration and not the wife, the husband's insurance company will sue the wife to be paid back for damage she caused.

. If you're commonlaw or married (which sharing a house is a big sign that they're at least common law spouses), then that property is as much hers to take and destroy as it is his. That is NOT true at all. Unless she is the registered owner of the vehicle, she has not right to do anything to it. You obviously do not understand how registration works. A couple can be married for Decades, but unless the other spouses name is on that registration they do not own it at all. They can be charged if t…

Well, guess what. When you're married, you're both the sole owner. That's how marriage works, kitten. Guess what sweet cheeks that is not how Insurance works at all. So don't act all smug. Insurance Broker here. No a vehicle in not owned by both unless is it registered in both names. It is very normal for couples to have their own vehicles in their own names for registration and insurance. So unless the spouses name is on the Registration, they have no ownership of that vehicle. Don't go blabbin…

I learned how to treat women from my Dad. Mom taught me how a woman is supposed to treat a man. Dad's respect for my mother is where I learned to treat women. I treat my wife very similar to how my dad treats my mom. Biggest compliment is hearing "you are just like your father."

Insurance is not that bad...lol People just think it's bad because those are the only stories we end up hearing about. In my experience of clients just read thier policy wordings a lot of denied claims could be avoided. It's pretty much the same in Canada just with high required limits for liability.

Women on pay less until 25. Men pay less at 25 or married which ever comes first. Decades of data back up the rates that are charged.

Gender does play a roll in insurance. Women pay more for disability insurance as they are more likely to be disabled while men pay more for life insurance since well we die more often than become disabled. And sorry but the statistics back up why young men pay more than young women. Facts are not sexist. Young men have more claims and more tickets than young women, so they end up paying more just to start. We have decades of data proving this. It's the young men of the past who fucked it up for …

Insurance companies do not care about your beliefs, just the pure risk. As I believe we can agree in the sub that hand down Birth Control pills are much cheaper and over all better than paying for abortions and possible complications.

So throw out hundreds of years of common law? How does a bank tellers DUI play a part in the robbery? If it plays a role it very well can be brought into evidence. Why should the some one not talk to past partners of the accuser? It could very well shoe a pattern of behavior that proves what the accused is saying is true. What if they have a history of accusing partners? Or male a habit of getting black out drunk and not remembering in the morning?

Being famous does not mean you wave your right to privacy. It does not give some one the right to touch any part of you without consent.

How is the weather going to be that night? Rent a large screen and projector and if possible to have an outdoor screening? Getting a large screen and projector would be fairly easy. Locally in would call up any DJ company as they would have everything needed to have the screening where ever you wanted.

You can retract consent after the fact, even with sex. Partner does not advise or lies about being HIV+...yes the consent given at the time is void. Misrepresentation is Fraud. And Fraud is a crime.

We have decades of data and facts supporting the insurance cost differences between the genders. Women life insurance is cheaper because they live longer and less likely die. But disability insurance costs more since they are more likely to be disabled. Men disability insurance is cheaper since men are less likely to be disabled(since they are more likely to die). Nothing sexist about it. Just the law of large numbers.
/r/MensRights13/10/16 11:14 PM

For health insurance women pay more because they are more likely to use the coverage. Women make more claims for things like disability than men. Men cost more for life insurance. Women for disability insurance. A man is more likely to die while a woman is more likely to just be disabled.

When I was working in the bar we always let more women in then men. Nothing to do with sexism but with safety. The higher ratio of women to men the less violence and fighting we had in the bar. More men than women...we had more fights.

I would say any woman who is a public face for a company could have an arguement to write off some Make up on her taxes as a work related expense. Appearance does matter. But a woman in a stockroom wouldn't. I get to do so with my razors, shaving cream, clothes, suits, moisturizers, after shave, etc. Self employed, and as an entertainer my appearance matters. That is equality.

/r/MensRights28/06/16 10:18 PM

Auto insurance is only required if you have a car. The reason it is different is because we have mountains of data backing up why the rates are what the are. It all boils down to statistics, and young UN married men under 25 are a greater risk than women of thr same age and marital status on average. Men pay more for life insurance, since we are more likely to die. Women pay more for disability insurance since they are more likely to be disabled rather than die. There is no difference in premium…

Hands down they do pay more for disability insurance than a man of the same age does. Car insurance rates normalize at 25 or when the man is in a common-law or married relationship. We have tonnes of data backing up the change I driving habits. It is not discriminatory since we have years upon years of data backing up the reasons. Young men take more risks on average than young women. Canadian Insurance Broker here, I see this everyday. And I see the data as to why it is the way it is. Good news…

It's happened a few times with my wife...lol. She does not know her limits when drinking(and she keeps pace with me when I out weigh her buy 80 lbs). After we have been drinking she has passed out more than once. Now maybe his perception is far far worse than mine is even when I am drunk, but I can tell when she passes out. It's pretty damn obvious. But that is just my personal opinion and experience. If I can be hammered and know when my partner passes out, I do feel that it should be something…

Women can be horrible when they are drunk and partying. I have been sexually assaulted multiple times while working. I have been a local DJ for over 16 years(weddings, Christmas parties, a few bars). I have had my genitals grabbed, my butt slapped, pinched, etc far to many times to count. I didn't mind so much a first, but that was before I was married.

The Wedding industry exists because of women. I have been DJing Weddings for over 15 years, so that is over 600 functions. It has not been until recently that Men have been catered to in regards to the wedding. I am in 2-3 bridal shows a year and most of the people there are women. Women have to be perfect, they are always portrayed in the media with tons of makeup and lots of photoshop. Same with Men. So non movie star women feel a tremendous pressure to live up to these standards of beauty that are literally impossible Same for Men. A steady rate of weight loss between 1-2 pounds a week is very possible. Losing weight can take year Or months, weeks, days even. lots of money for better food Wrong as well. A change of shopping and eating habits is needed, but it does not mean more money for better food. Men are also considered less attractive if they are fat, but it is not the deal breaker it is with women. Wrong. So very wrong. o one chooses to be fat anymore than they choose to be poor. There are a ton of circumstances that affect weight, including things you cannot change like metabolism, genetics, where your body stores fat, thyroid or hormonal changes such as menopause, etc. While there are things that impact weight that make it harder to be a normal weight.
