Some lies are so terrible that they are libel per se, and you don’t have to show any actual damages, damages are presumed and can be for humiliation, embarrassment, injury to reputation and standing in the community, mental suffering, and anguish and anxiety. You do not have to show economic damages.

It's not a question of The agreement being thrown out. It's a question of interpretation of ambiguous terms. If there's anything ambiguous in a contract, it is construed against the person who drafted it. If your lawyer drafted it in there something Ambiguous in it, then that issue's decided against you. However if the parties are on equal footing in the each had a lawyer, and each had a hand in drafting, courts are much less likely to construe an ambiguity against you.

You actually can compel someone to show up for a trial or deposition and answer questions under oath. She wouldn't have to in this case. Suppose the following: She show up for the trial and testifies, truthfully, that she lives there. No one shows up to lie and say she didn't live there. Result: she just proved she lived there.
