WTF am I doing?I think a lot of guys go through it. There is a reason why some women who have been single for a bit avoid recently divorced guys, they know we likely aren’t ready. I think for many women it’s often different, a woman may grieve/move on while with you, as men we often dont do that until it’s done. That’s for women who wanted the divorce, for a woman who didn’t, process is likely very similar to what a man goes through. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/05/24 01:30 PM
WTF am I doing?Things are really weird in the dating world right now, I think a lot of people aren’t even trying to date. But also it seems like many people who are dating are going back to meeting others in person and avoiding apps which I think is good. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/05/24 02:50 AM
WTF am I doing? The apps aren’t great, many of the best single woman aren’t on them. Honestly one of the best ways to approach for me from a far is a wave and smile, it’s like pure gold. Works so well, then just talk. That only works with outgoing confident girls. Meeting shy/reserved women is really hard. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/05/24 02:13 AM
WTF am I doing? Are you me? It gets old man. I was same as you, had a really attractive ex wife so I guess I must be ok. Same, dead bedroom and she said she wasn’t attracted to me, that was a hit to the ego. I went through my phase post divorce, more than doubled my body count prior to marriage. Part of probably was validation, part filling a void, part just bored. I was doing same and ending things once they wanted more, I thought I was ready to date but I clearly wasn’t looking back on it. Now I’m over all th… | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/05/24 02:10 AM
Just want to mess around with new womanYou can be in 40s and have a ton of options if you want. I’m not about the lifestyle but if you are in shape and a nice person, it’s pretty easy. Women have needs too and I often find they want it more than I do. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/08/21 03:54 PM
What is the smart thing you or your lawyer did during divorce process? One thing to be aware of is child support. Some judges will have the spouse receiving child support be responsible for 100% of certain expenses while other judges will not. This is very naunced and depends on the specific judge provided your state allows the judge to have that discretion. The other smart thing I did was negotiate with my exwife instead of doing it through the courts. I think we both left things on the the table but overall saved a ton of legal fees. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/08/21 03:51 PM
Suspicious Holiday Visit TermsEasy, discretely record. Why are you making this so hard? You either want to see your kid or you don’t. If you are recording the entire time what are you possibly risking? What’s your safety risk? You think the supervisor is going to beat you up? | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/12/20 12:47 PM
